Excellent customer service, professional management and great choices for tools, bags and jewelry…read more I'm actually very shocked that Capital City Pawn doesn't have a 5 star rating. I've been their customer since 2008 and have never had a bad experience! Never. These reviews are crazy. As for letting customers know about their pawns that is the customer's responsibility. Secondly, they do let customers know in the mail. They try to extend your pawns if needed as well. Customers need to work with them. So to say they are rude and don't work with the customer, that is not true. As for their doors. lol. The doors are not jammed. The doors have buzz locks for safety of everyone. You ring a door bell, they buzz you in. Are we really complaining about doors? I also want to make it clear there is only one entrance and exit and that is the front of the store. If there is a back it is a fire exit and for employees only. Every single employee who has helped me with selling stuff, buying stuff, layaway or loans have been very professional to me. I've noticed professional customer service towards other customers as well. The only rudeness I have witnessed is by the customers. Sometimes customers don't like their quote. Often the customer are missing paperwork or do not have sellable goods, so they get frustrated or desperate and they take it out on the employees. As for the management, top notch!! Yes, I know what's up at this pawn shop because I've been coming here for almost two decades. I wanted to work here at one time! It looked like fun and challenging. Plus I love learning new things and helping people. Take this 3 star rating and put it in the trash! It is a 5 star store. At least this store on Auburn Blvd. is!

I went there to getting a estimate for selling a diamond ring with GIA certificates. The guy there…read moresaid there was a chip on the diamond, and he could not buy the diamond, he would only pay $40 for scrap. The value was several thousands of dollar with original receipt. I sold the ring on eBay to a diamond buyer, who had a shop in Massachusetts. I had no problems with the transaction & no complaints about any "chip" on the diamond. This shop is not honest or trustworthy. I would never recommend them to anyone buy or sell them anything. They will try to cheat you out of your money. Awful business.

i would advise anyone who has items at this pawn shop to go pick them up. this pawn shop is not…read morebeing ran like a legitimate business. we paid interest on our item and when we came back a month later the whole business moved with no type of signage that they was moving and the man certainly never ever disclosed he was moving locations. so after a good year! we have been lookin high and low for this carvalhos pawn shop. after an extensive search i found the owner. he says they had some family issues. i can understand that. but this business has underminded my trust considering we were very good customers an they never felt the need to inform anyone about their move. i went to another pawn shop and unbeknownst to me they had heard all the horror stories about ppl looking for this pawn shop high and low. the man told me that two older white ladies came in to his pawn shop crying hysterically, because they just like myself felt our items was lost due to: them closing without notice, not answering phone calls or phone is disconnected and they didnt provide a we have moved sign on the previous building. rumors was going around that the owner KC passed away but i have found this to be false. the NEW LOCATION ADDRESS IS 6232 GREENBACK LANE. for anyone who is STILL looking for these ppl and you have items you want to retrieve. im not a lawyer but i do know pawn shops are federally regulated and i would think if you take ppl items move locations for 8-9 months and no notices was provided i would think the item should be forefeited to the person who was trying to redeem their item for almost a year. but again im not a lawyer. however i did notice since their move better business bureau has dropped them as a business for ratings due to all there poor complaints. if i was you i would get my items from them and NEVER RETURN they arent running this business as a legitimate establishment. now the neighbors of the new location has said they have only seen this pawn shop open ONCE for a month since they moved their and it hasnt been opened since. they said they would be open full time starting this week but i went by there and again they was closed this is a very regular occurance they dont honor the days and times posted on their business when they will be open. is literally a cat and mouse game with these ppl. BEST ADVICE GET YOUR SHIT FROM THEM AND NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. aint no tellong when you will get your items back and i havent confirmed if they even STILL have my items. because the business is STILL not opened. if this goes on much longer im going to seek legal action and file a petition in small claims court for the value of my item and emotional distress because i spent 1yr trying to get my item back! the rest of you all should follow suit!

Went to Loyalty Pawn this Sunday and had a great experience…read more The staff was friendly, and the storefront was nice and clean. Had to buzzed in, which was confusing and unsettling. The good news is that everything once inside the door was great. I was there to find a guitar, and they had a decent selection of not only guitars but other nice musical instruments as well. Almost went home with a nice drum set as well Found a Fender Stratocaster that was perfect. I had great customer service the entire way through. I got a solid deal on the guitar and an amp. They threw in a few small pieces, which I needed since it's been so long since I have played and I appreciated them putting those little extras into the deal and not trying to nickel and dime me the entire time. Actually, during the hour there with the sales rep was easy going, didn't put any unnecessary sales pressure,. The sales rep was truly helpful and gave straightforward answers and help when I asked him any questions. I would recommend that anyone looking for a less costly option to purchasing new goods check out Loyalty Pawn. Great job and thank you for selling me my cool ass music maker. I'll be back probably for that drum set soon.

The gentleman who helped us (sadly, I didn't catch his name) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I had a few coins that I thought might be worth something, and he was able to confirm that they were. He also took the time to explain which coins weren't worth much and pointed out specific dates to look out for in the future. Overall, I feel like I got a very fair deal for what I brought in and never felt pressured or like I was being lowballed. I had a really great experience here and I'm so glad I chose to bring my grandpa's collection here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have their coins evaluated or sell a collection!

Guy comes and asks what I needed and proceeded to tell me wasn't buying because the Smelters were not accepting anything for two weeks and he could not buy. He also added that gold prices weren't good and to wait if I didn't NEED the money. I didn't but asked for some input on what I had. He just shrugged and said, I guess I can. He only went off weight and what I told him the Karats I thought it was. He didn't want to test it or do anything else since he wasn't buying.
