I recently bought a Nissan Rogue for my daughter from Carmazone in Salisbury, and the experience was probably the best I've had since I bought my first car in 1991. Jeff Wasson was my sales consultant, and he gave my daughter and me first-rate service. The car we wanted came at a great price and included everything I was looking for and then some. He was upfront and honest about everything and went way out of his way to make sure all my needs for the car were met. If you are shopping in the Charlotte area, then I would strongly recommend you check this dealership out. Even if they don't have the car on their lot (which the one I bought wasn't), they will do everything they can to get it delivered for you. They deserve 5 STARS!

If you're paying cash for a vehicle do not go the Carmazone. They are a predatory dealership that does not want to sell cars to people who pay cash. Allow me to explain. I found a vehicle that I had been looking for for a while at their dealership advertised on Facebook Marketplace. I contacted the dealership and talked to a salesperson and explained to him that I was looking for an out the door price for the vehicle and that I would not be requiring any financing, I would be paying cash. The salesperson, Bubba, told me that he would get together with his sales manager and work something up and get back with me. He never did. Several weeks later I called back because I noticed that the vehicle is still being sold on market price for $7,872 and that it was still available. I called the dealership again and this time I talked to a salesperson that was on his first day of the job. I again explained that I was paying cash and that I did not have a trade in and I did not require financing and I that I was looking for an out the door price on the vehicle cash. He told me it was his first day and he was going to get together with the sales manager and get a price put together for me. About 2 hours later they texted me an image of the spreadsheet for the quote. I'll looked over the fees and they did not make any sense so I asked the first day salesperson about it and he told me he would get his sales manager on the phone to explain it to me. The sales manager got on the phone and explained to me that they are not in the business of selling cars, they are in the business of getting financing for cars and that is where they make their money and if I was to pay the asking price for the vehicle they would lose too much from the financing company's so they add the fees to incentivize the customers to finance. He also explained that if I went to the website for their business all of their pricing is explained. I explained to him that irregardless of them putting it on their website this business practice is unethical and that I felt they are deliberately misleading their customers to get them to come through the door. He told me he was offended by my accusation and he hung up on me. Side note, I have looked all over their website and cannot find where they explain their pricing. I'm not saying it's there but it's not exactly displayed in such a way that you could easily find it. Irregardless of whether that information is posted on the website or not these business practices are unethical and deliberately deceiving to people who are simply trying to find a honest deal on a reliable vehicle. I have all phone calls between me and the dealership recorded So if they would like to contest anything I have stated I can back up everything with receipts. Attached is a copy of the spreadsheet they sent to me. Read it and use your best judgment.

Great dealership. This is my second time buying a car with Carmazone. Clean building. Staff is friendly. Richard Greene was my salesman. He was able to get me what I asked for..very satisfied. Thank you

Bought a car and they said that they were going to do the brakes before releasing the vehicle to me but it was never done.

Senior sales rep Jeff Wasson was great- knowledgeable, polite and easy to work with as we test drove and looked over my options.

I bought a 2003 BMW 325i from Jake Alexander Auto Sales in Salisbury NC back in September. The car…read morehad relatively low miles at 111k. I was told there were no issues with this car. I was even told by the owner, Steven McCullough, that Randy Hall Automotive had done a thorough check up of this car before he sold it to me. Randy says he never saw the car before I brought it to him for repairs within a month of purchase. The first weekend I had issues with the car. I called Steven and he said to take it to Randy Hall which I did. Randy did a bunch of work on the car...replaced some things including the brakes and then it seemed ok. At this point Steven has covered the repair costs since I told him from the beginning that I had issues. He told me numerous times, "We will take care of you". A couple weeks later I had more issues. The car wouldn't shift from Reverse to Drive...Steve then gave me a loaner car and sent mine to a friend of his who works on BMWs. "Peter" replaced a sensor and some hoses. He also told me my car may possibly need a new transmission. An independent transmission guy told me that same thing!!!! I panicked as I bought it in good faith because of what awesome condition the car was in according to Steven. I have had nothing but issues with this car from the beginning which are noted by the dealership because I've been by there and called many times with these issues. I went with my boyfriend to a Christmas party this past Saturday night and we got less than one mile from my house and the car felt like it wasn't getting gas. It slowed and RPMs went way down several times. We turned around and took it back home and got his truck instead. Yesterday I was on my way to Peter's to let him check it out since he works on BMWs and it cut off and left me stranded on the side of the road. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this dealership. I feel Steven KNEW this car was a bad one when he sold it to me!!

When is YELP GOING TO HAVE NEGATIVE STARS? WARNING WARNING!!!…read more I hope that YELP does not remove this review for being so harsh.. Before I start this review I want to warn you that I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORSE ENEMY HERE. And I would not have written this review at all and waste my time had I not experienced this with a my friend and to warn buyers not to purchase a vehicle at this place,.And I will make this short and sweet as possible. 1) A few days ago a friend ask if i would go with her to " look for a car " the one she haw was starting to mount up on repair bills. At this point I told her and she new that I am not the mechanic type basically I was going for moral support( I think) 2) So we stop at this used car lot ( I know used) she sees a Volvo station wagon I think it was a 2001 low mileage body looks great, leather sunroof or moon roof as they call them,, tires with good tread from what I saw( Pirellii's) but, it was noticed on had a plug in it I know most places will do even do that anymore . So you want to drive it? the manager Steve asks so we do runs very well. Little did he knew I had mt laptop and was running a kelly Blue book value and a carfax report on the car while we where driving. 3) So no wrecks but there where repairs done and it seemed ike a alot . You could not see it from the entries it had engine repairs. We came from the drive the salesman said " you want that great car?" Friend glanced at me and I was waiting to say not I was even shacking my head slowly no but, she had made up her mind. 4) So he says make sure " you get all your items form the old car old car which I did while she was signing paper work. 5) Paper work done except for a few items check written for down payment keys in hand they told her just take the car drive it make sure you like it come back Monday and we will have `everything taken care of . So she takes time off from work to finish the darn paper work and there is also some sort of reason that some of a issue one after another another issue.that she was asked that was never asked before 6) So l said to myself he is stalling plus the fact that we found oil on the ground under the car on the driveway. Not knowing anyplace would be open I stooped at a place close by the location at they wanted $500-600 dollars.for the repair Then I went to another places they said at least said it would be around 1000.00 or more DO NOT purchase A CAR HERE ! I GUESS I WOULD FEEL BAD IF SOMEONE (. How can you look At your self in the mirror???? GOT INTO THIS CAR AND IT BREAKS DOWN WITH MAJOR WORK NEEDED She barely got her money back!!! I wonder how many times this has been done to ????
