    I'm in the market for a new car and have my eyes set in the C300 Mercedes. Decided to go to CARMAX in Scottsdale since my current vehicle is through them. I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I entered. My sales representative Mike was super helpful and totally honest with me about my options. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing or jerked around as a woman shopping alone. They made me feel comfortable and explained my options in detail. Although I decided to hold off on buying at that time I will be coming back once I am. The staff cares and doesn't treat you like a dollar sign.

    We have been looking for a car for our daughter for several months, and have been all over the valley to different dealerships. Not one of them was as smooth and friendly as CarMax! We went in on a Wednesday, they had exactly what she was looking for and it met all of our criteria. Kyle was our sales person. He was extremely helpful and kind. We didn't feel any pressure, and they held the car for us so my husband could return from work travel and be there during the purchase. It was a no haggle, no pressure, very transparent sale! And the best part is my daughter is thrilled!! Thank you Kyle!

Tim was my service advisor, and he was not only responsive throughout the process, but also communicative, empathetic, and realistic with expectations from the very beginning. The issue ultimately turned out to be a fuel pump failure that was covered under warranty, and the repair process and communication were handled far better than my prior experiences elsewhere. One thing that stood out to me most was simply feeling heard and kept informed throughout the process. That level of communication matters, especially when dealing with a major drivability issue that impacts daily life and business. I truly appreciated the professionalism and transparency from Tim and the North Scottsdale team.

I was then told the entire oil pan had to be replaced, turning a basic maintenance visit into an $800 repair. I was initially told my vehicle wouldn't be ready until after the weekend. However, once I began questioning how this happened during a standard oil change, the repair was suddenly completed in less than half a day and I was sent on my way. That inconsistency raised serious concerns. When I picked up my car, the engine light was still on, and the vehicle was returned dirty. After spending $800, I would expect at minimum a proper diagnostic and basic customer care, including something as simple as running the car through the wash. During the discussion about payment, I was spoken to in a dismissive manner and told that "nothing is free in this world,". That felt unprofessional and inappropriate, especially given the circumstances. I would strongly encourage others to think twice before bringing their vehicle here for maintenance. Based on my experience, the level of service, accountability, and professionalism fell well below what I expect from a Volkswagen dealership.

Well this time, I am extremely happy to say I had an outstanding "customer experience" at MINI NORTH SCOTTSDALE. Oddly, the convertible top on my red JCW MINI would not open. I have happily owned and consistently driven nothing but MINI(s) for over 2 decades; NEVER had any issues with the convertible tops ever "breaking." (Thank God!) Anyway, the manager ("Josh" and "Ryan" MINI advisor) LISTENED to my grievance, and very ethically made an astute business decision to fix the convertible top as a "Loyal Customer courtesy." I sincerely appreciate the fact that this dealership not only stands behind their service, but more importantly, they honestly VALUE their customers. THAT SAYS A LOT! I truly want to thank them for fairly repairing my car (that they no doubt will probably get back, as a "trade in") LOL

My warning to consumers: do not rely on CARFAX alone or verbal statements. Before purchasing, request the full internal reconditioning file, repair orders, technician notes, inspection sheets, warranty/ESC documents, written warranty confirmation, CARFAX/AutoCheck/NMVTIS reports, and an independent inspection. In my case, I later obtained internal service/reconditioning records showing pre-sale work relevant to issues I experienced after purchase, including stabilizer/sway bar-related work. I also had a SIM/navigation issue after returning the vehicle for a moonroof repair; when I picked it up, it displayed "No SIM card inserted," even though the SIM card was originally in the vehicle. When I requested a written resolution, I was told I allegedly declined rescission/repurchase. I requested proof of any signed rejection, waiver, release, or written communication showing I clearly declined rescission or waived rights. I was not provided that documentation. Based on my experience, get everything in writing and verify every representation before signing or purchasing.

It couldn't have been more easier, the gentleman who helped me over the phone was very courteous and professional. After the call, I received an email confirmation and I later went to Pinnacle Nissan on the day of my appointment. Checking in was superb: as I pulled up into the service bay area, I was immediately greeted by an attendant that confirmed my scheduled appointment, handed the keys to him and proceeded to the waiting area. The service bay waiting area is extremely roomy similar to a large hotel lobby. There is also seating options outdoors as I found the air condition to be super ice cold. The waiting area is generously stocked with complimentary amenities: ice cold full size bottled water, variety of packaged snacks, selection of herbal teas, and hot coffee. Super hospital level clean restrooms. There is also a section reserved for small kids if you happen to bring them along. There are full rows of children's books and a few toys in a corner that offers a degree of privacy while you wait with your kids from the other people waiting there. I was initially told by the attendant upon checking in that my service appointment would take 2 hours however I only waited a little over 1 hour. The service department was very busy so there were already over a dozen people waiting in the large lobby size waiting area. The services performed: oil change, tire inspection, 18 point vehicle inspection, and complementary car wash. The tech that helped me check out with my paperwork was Wes Auer. Hopefully you are lucky enough to get him if you go to Pinnacle Nissan service dept as he is extremely professional, thorough, and friendly. This is my first review of Pinnacle Nissan Service department and the experience was EPIC. There is literally nothing they can do to improve their system. If the 5 star hotel Ritz Carlton went into the auto service business, no doubt they themselves would duplicate exactly the type of system that Pinnacle Peak Nissan already use. Thank you to Wes Auer for turning a simple routine car service experience into a positive EPIC final boss level highlight of the day. This place is hands down the highest level of auto service I've had since owning a car at 16 and I'm 46.

I bought a new Murano on Black Friday that was delivered with a cut in the rear leather seat, which I reported immediately. Instead of taking responsibility, the dealership told me to find my own upholstery shop. Even worse, I was explicitly told during the sale that the vehicle included remote start and climate control functionality, which turned out to be false. Management acknowledged the mistake but blamed me for not verifying features at delivery. My interaction with Cameron Fisher, the Sales General Manager, was particularly disappointing. He told me he would personally call me to explain how this would be resolved. He never did. I was treated poorly for simply asking the dealership to stand behind what they sold. After years of loyalty, I was ignored and dismissed once the deal was done. I will never do business with Pinnacle Nissan again as long as they employ staff who treat customers this way, and I strongly advise others to get everything in writing.
