False advertising. 61,000 was the price when we got there.
    Addie S.

Went in to look at this truck. After having to jump through hoops to see it we were told it is not the advertised price of $40,000.00 but in fact 61,000.00 classic bait and switch. You can clearly see the advertisenent we showed them and requested to see. I will never look at a Nissan again. Blatant False advertising. Sketchy. 2 Nissan dealers advertised the same truck. One for 39,000 and Pinnacle for $40,000.. *purchased elsewhere. You can clearly see the advertisement. Not what we were told after the truck was pulled out to us. The ad was VIN-specific and they had to go look for it.

Okay, Charles was incredible! He was honest, answered all our questions, was helpful, and believe it or not, I felt like he genuinely cared about our first car for our son! I genuinely hope we can find him here in a year to purchase another vehicle!

My first new car purchase ever. Walked out of Larry Miller Nissan because they couldn't meet my price, and called Pinnacle. Brian on the phone was great, came out in a suit and shook my hand for a Nissan Versa. Had it pulled up front and washed when I arrived (Larry Miller did not despite my appointment) and I test drove it with Charles the salesman. He was super nice and friendly, and helped me find a really rough road on the test drive to make sure the car was quiet. Got to meet Nismo Nick which was awesome! He was also so friendly and kind, showed me and my parents all the sweet cars he has and helped me meet my price on the little Versa! Robert in Finance was also great, very patient with me being a first time buyer. Only negative was the car was delivered to me with a tire pressure light on, showing all 4 tires low at 25psi when they should be at 33. I did mention it a few times when signing paperwork, and Charles did let the service department know when they looked at it. It was still on when I left the dealership, but I filled them up once I got home. Not a big deal. They have a great team here that seems to enjoy their job, and it clearly shows. The difference in professionalism at this dealership compared to every other one I've been to was shocking. Best first car buying experience I could have expected.

    Bugs under new protective coat

So they decided to do right thing. Refunded all the contract and the protection money. . Shouldn't have even got to this point. This is why you have a service manager to make sure prep done correctly and then apply

Saul was amazing! Got a great vehicle to boot. It's amazing what one can purchase when you have all of the information. Quick process!

Look for this in your contract if you see "ZakTek Front-Add" listen on the "Accepted Coverage" side.

REFUSE ZAKTEK. I asked "Is ZakTek paint protection optional?" because I saw it was added on my contract. Robert and Eddie(finance director) told me "no. it's required to purchase a car at Nissan." Which is funny because the contract clearly states: "YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BUY ANY ADD-ON PRODUCT IN ORDER TO PURCHASE A CAR AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE. You should be aware the products listed above are optional and contain additional benefits, limitations, and exclusions from coverage." So telling me "no, it's not optional, it's required" is by legal definition fraudulent practice and it is illegal. The wax coating does the same shit as Superstar car wash and it's $400 so no thanks. Shove it. REFUSE TO PURCHASE ANY ADD ONS THAT YOU DO NOT WANT. ITS NOT REQUIRED. On the page of your contract that lists all the pricing for the vehicle, read the "additional charges" line. It will say "seller must identify who is paid and describe purpose" meaning they have a legal responsibility to explain any service contracts that are added regardless of whether you read the contract or not, so that you are fully aware of what you are purchasing. If a service contract was added to your contract and you don't want it/don't know what it is or what it's for and were not explained to, IT DOES NOT MATTER that you should've read the contract or that it can be removed. They MUST explain it and not doing so is a contract violation. If you refuse ZakTek Nissan has every right to refuse your sale but they probably won't. Be ready to get up and walk out. Also, if your financing falls through they cannot force you to resign a contract, they can only rescind the original and yes, you are due for your down payment back. GFY Ed :)

***Update to the 'owner' response(8/15):Why would the hundreds of us complaining have any faith that this person you are directing us to contact in your cookie-cutter response, will be any different than the ones you already employ? Hire new, competent, non- unconcerned people, and your business might increase ii's profit margin some; as a Berkshire company, ask Mr Buffett if you are unfamiliar with the meaning(that was tongue-in-cheek). This experience my wife and I are going through with your business is not because your people are busy and just making mistakes. No, this is an utter lack of caring, taking pride in their job, and an indifference to the people that come into the dealership. I'll handle this another way - you can try this approach with someone else. I will make this as short as possible, because who likes reading long-winded reviews, right? We 'purchased' a certified armada a week ago. There were some things wrong with it that I was assured were being taken care of(mostly paint blemishes). When I test drove the armada, it seemed okay, but it was dirty, and smelled weird. I was told the paint would be corrected, and it hadn't been detailed yet; it would be detailed and look clean inside and out. Fast-forward to 2-days later, and we had the Armada delivered to our home. I noticed the paint still had places that were not touched up, and the inside still had a smell and didn't look cleaned well at all. My wife is 8-months pregnant and we have 2 little kids, so I took the salesman word(yeah, I know) that it would be made right, and we signed the paperwork and got back to adulting, and parenting. This is the part I need to use less characters than I would prefer. We still don't have assurances that the deal is funded. Our 'salesman', Nic, has stated the deal is funded, he messed up with the email my boss sent in for proof of employment, so the deal wasn't funded right away, but it was now(yesterday). Here's the kicker: my boss sent that email directly to the bank, not some sales guy at pinnacle Nissan. So, not only did he lie about corresponding with my employer, he stated the deal was funded. Not stretched the truth a little bit; he lied. He also stated he would get us in to get the paint fixed that wasn't. Guess what? Yep, excuse after excuse. My finance guy at pinnacle - Micel - has stopped responding to my emails, and nobody at the finance department is responding in any way. The bank called my employer for the third time today, asking for the same information he had told them over the phone, and was in the paperwork he emailed back to them - after the sent him a proof-of-employment form. I am 46-years old, and have purchased/financed dozens of vehicles -- and this is the most amazingly horrific experience I have ever experienced. By a lot. A whole lot. I don't know how I will handle this going forward, again this is a first for both my wife and I. However, I will figure it out. I just wanted other hard-working people to think twice about coming to Pinnacle Nissan. I would never tell someone what to do via a review; but please take what I am saying to heart, and add it to your equation when deciding where you want to purchase your next vehicle. I am adding some photos of just how dirty the vehicle was when it was dropped off, after being "detailed". The smell inside was from a rotten banana, and rotten meat. It took me over 3 hours to properly clean and sanitize the interior. Seriously. Josh

Well, that's not my concern- that's dealer prep. I don't pay for that- that the cost of doing business for them. I was shopping online and he told me the prices online on their website is not the TRUE selling price but a guesstimate. Because they were making no money on financing or add ons he said the price changed online. This was the absolute worse experience my husband and I have gone through at a car dealership. From…read morethe very beginning the communication through phone, text and in person was awful. Our first sales guy George was supposed to follow up with my husband the next day regarding the numbers he was running for us and instead contacted me after he was told I was going to be busy, then when my husband tried following up there were no responses but I kept getting texts. A few days later (Tuesday) my husband went through True Car to find another Jeep and Karlo from Airpark reached out to us to make a deal on the same car. My husband went back and forth between Karlo and George since they pulled him back into negotiations. They settled on a price and they were trying to get us to come in that day but we couldn't come in until Thursday. We made an appointment time to come in and pick it up and sign the paperwork. We got there at 5pm and long story short we ended up walking out a little after 7:30pm after waiting over 2 hours for the finance guy, Mike, who was sitting in his office with a lady the whole time- legs crossed, several cups of coffee laid out across his desk, laughing and just chatting it up, no documents being signed. Meanwhile, we kept being given excuses that it's a lot of paperwork and that they were short finance people who were out sick. This is after we were told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait because there was one person in front of us. As we started walking out and telling them this was absolutely ridiculous they told us that we can sign the docs via docusign and they would drive us the car and pick up our trade. We said fine, he had my email to send it to. Ryan Hrabe, one of the GM's, called us that night apologizing and telling my husband that he would call at 8:30am on Friday after he found out more as to what happened. Friday at 8:30am comes and no call. Finally, at around 10am my husband tried calling George, Karlo and Ryan Hrabe to see what was going on because we still were not sent the contract. Nobody answered the call or returned a follow up text. Instead, randomly at 11am I get a text saying the paperwork would be sent over shortly. At noon i sent a followup text stating I still didn't receive the paperwork and asked what is going on. I got no response until I got a call at 3pm by Karlo asking my for my drivers license and insurance card. I told him that George took copies the night before when we signed the preliminary documents and told him I did not feel comfortable and would not be sending copies of it again to his personal cell number. I told him to find the copies they made and he said no problem. Finally, the documents were sent and when I opened them there was no contract and the only paperwork was the preliminary documents I signed the night before but this time half the the sheets weren't even filled out! At this point I reached out and told them the deal was off. They tried making more excuses and I got another call later to which I did not respond. If possible avoid this dealership if you want a positive car buying experience. For perspective-the next day we went to Earnhardt Ford in Chandler and from getting out of our car to driving away with a new Bronco- we were done in 2 hours. That includes, learning about the Bronco, being shown all different models, test driving it, negotiating, signing documents, having the car detailed and then adding running boards. In addition, the communication was fantastic, professional and there was no pressure throughout the whole process.

He immediately made me feel welcome by inviting me to sit down at his desk and asking if I'd like something to drink or if I had any questions. After he grabbed me an ice-cold water, we hopped on a golf cart and headed out to take a look at the vehicle. Aamir was professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the entire process. He made the experience comfortable and straightforward, and I truly appreciated his helpful attitude from start to finish. Logan was our car salesman and helped narrow down the options in my budget for the Forester Hybrid. When we arrived for a test drive he had the car parked in the shade and ready to go. We had completed the credit application ahead of time so that made financing even easier since they had it pre approved when we got there for the test drive! Logan and Colton the sales manager worked really hard to make the numbers work. They were fast and efficient with the trade in value of my Ascent. Once we agreed on the pricing they got me over to Justin in finance who had all the paperwork ready to go. Overall this was an amazing car buying experience. I'm incredibly thankful to have a beautiful brand new Forester Hybrid today thanks to Logan, Colton, and Justin! Highly recommend this dealership if you're in AZ looking for a car!!
