So, this literally was going to start off as a amazing review, BUT! That has changed! I was referred by a few friends to deal with Carmax, they have great warranty's, the prices are great, ya ya ya. I was in the market to purchase my 2nd Range Rover. I currently had/have a sport, and wanted to try out the Velar. Better on gas, smaller, cute, you know! I found a burgundy 2018 Velar S. Was nicely loaded, sexy, rode amazing...good price(not great), around 24k miles...about $51k. Cool...so I drove in from Charleston one day, drove the car...enjoyed it. Completed the application process online, downpayment, ect ect, drove back to Columbia to take delivery! After all the paperwork was completed, I was escorted to the car where they had a huge Yellow Bow on it! Talk about make me feel good. Shortly after I found a few issues with the truck; warped leather dashboard, both headlights had cracks in them, 1 cracked taillight, missing cover for the trunk part of the truck, one key was broken, and I questioned the delay for the backup camera. A large black guy came out after I showed the young lady who did my finance paperwork the complaints I had about the car......Oh, Mr Brown, just bring it back in and we will take care of all those things! NP!! Sir, I am in the process of moving to San Francisco CA, and I want to insure that I will NOT have an issue wit this once I arrive? Can I not get the work done before I leave? No, I'm pulling out in 3 days, which is the main reason I'm purchasing a newer truck. Don't worry about it Mr. Brown! Just have them contact us and we will approve it! I contacted the Carmax in Pleasanton, CA, escalated it to one of the managers...he would have to contact the Carmax in Columbia, NO PROBLEM! Now all of a sudden no one knows anything about anything! NOTHING! After going around in a few circles....there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO! Yes, it was my responsibility to get this in writing, but I also just assumed that they would have also written it down, or at least recalled it! And would have done the repairs. This review is written a year later because, I just got an anniversary email for my truck! LOL...which now only have 12k miles more than when I purchased it, just got my first oil change...and those things that needed repaired....still need repaired! My hopes are, are that someone from Carmax will read this, hold this location accountable, and represent Carmax for what it stands for. When that happens, I'll add to this review, and tell everyone they made it right. But as for now!! GET EVERYTHING IN INK WHEN IT COMES TO CARMAX!!

So disappointed. I haven't even had my car for 30 days and its been a rollercoaster of bs since the first week I bought it. I have to get a part replaced that should've been taken care of before selling this car to anyone. Getting a hold of anyone by phone is such a hassle. I should've known by the way the car looked when I test drove it. They don't bother to clean anything. They do the bare minimum.

I thought I was buying a Tucson but got a Christmas tree instead!

STAY AWAY! STAY FAR FAR AWAY. Bought a car on Saturday, so that I could get to work on Monday. Sunday it lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights. So had to go back the next morning and they replaced the battery. Christmas lights back on in 1/2 hour. Now I think I work mornings at CARMAX!

Great car dealer of used cars…read more I got an online referral to them. I bought a used car from this dealer. I am extremely happy with everyone I worked with at this location. Sometimes they get so busy that you might get accidentally disconnected but that can happen with any busy retailer who is worth supporting with the buying power of your wallet. They brought a car I wanted across a state line that I was interested in so that I wouldn't have to ride a greyhound bus to their other store to test drive and buy it. They inspect each car before they sell it. They give you a complimentary 5 days with a max 1,500 miles to return the car if you change your mind. Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a quality used car and has little or bad credit. Updating review on 6/1/2017, My VW car is wonderful, with extremely COLD A/C. For me that's a must in hot weather because i've had heat stroke several times in the last 15 years of my life. Anyone who asks me who to go to for a car I say "Drive Time" because the Greystone location is great and they can work with almost any credit issue you have heard of including bankruptcy...

On July 3, 2025, it broke down completely and requires a full engine replacement ($10,000-$12,000). My 30-day coverage expired, and without an extended warranty, the dealership refused assistance. I requested a trade or replacement, but they declined. It is not reasonable that a purchase of this magnitude last just beyond the standard 30 day warranty. To any reasonable consumer, a $15,000 vehicle purchase represents a significant investment, and it is expected that such a purchase would provide reliable use for more than a single month. A total engine failure within 45 days renders the product essentially worthless and undermines the very purpose of the transaction. I voluntarily returned the vehicle to the dealer, and they still have it. I am left with a $15,000 loan on a non-running car with almost no use. Between the sales practices, conflicting pricing, and early failure, I believe the business is engaging in misleading and predatory practices.

Nate Allman was the Sales Associate who worked with us.. The thing about Enterprise you should know going in (I've purchase 5 cars from them) the sticker price IS the price. There is no negotiating on that number. Your trade in value, down payment, warranty packages are where you have your flexibility's. Nate is one of the more well versed Sales associates, so he doesn't try to lure you in with over selling and under delivering. All the numbers happen when you sit down with Kyle the Area Manager or Lucious the Sales Manager. I had spoken with Kyle in the phone so I had already planned to deal directly with Kyle. Another person in this dealership I would highly recommend. Both of these guys did an excellent job of working the numbers to make them work in this case, which also allowed for the extended warranty, which I highly recommend having benefited from it and the tire/wheel warranty. You cannot go wrong with the Silver package ever. If you want a good, reliable, used vehicle, with low mileage l, honest pricing that is backed by honest people and warranties, you cannot go wrong with Enterprise Sales on Greystone Blvd In Columbia, SC. See Nate, Kyle or Lucious and they will treat you right. Give you more for your money and you will drive away with a fair payment and a quality vehicle.

You would think a company that claims to inspect the vehicles well before they are ready to sell would have caught this. It makes you wonder. She is now having trouble getting some one to fix it as they have made the sale and received their commission. What happens when the seat does this and it causes her to wreck? This should not have passed inspection. I see what she is going through and it's like pulling teeth to get someone to fix this. She has only had the vehicle a week today and the seat has been doing this since the day she bought it. Potential customer no more!

We visited JT Autoland after seeing a car listed online for $17,900. It seemed like a good deal, so…read morewe stopped by to check it out. But once we arrived, the truth came out fast. They tried to add an $799 GPS fee and another $799 tracking device fee -- two unnecessary add-ons totaling nearly $1,600. These charges were never disclosed online on the posting itself. We expected normal costs like doc and tag fees, but these were clearly inflated and misleading. Even worse, because we were paying cash, they told us we'd have to pay an additional $1,000 (which made the price 18,990 before any fees or taxes). That was shocking. Why penalize someone for not financing? If anything, a cash buyer should be getting a discount -- not a surcharge. We've bought many cars from many bigger and better dealerships and never had to pay GPS/Tracking fees. Even before talking numbers, we went on a test drive. When going on a test drive, the sales rep didn't even scan or check our drivers license before letting us test drive the vehicle, which I'm assuming isn't their policy. After seeing how they operated, we were ready to walk away and had already made it clear we were done with the deal. As we were leaving, the salesperson came back with a new offer. We responded with a final counteroffer -- just $700 less than what they proposed -- and that's when everything blew up. Out of nowhere, the sales manager with a lazy eye stormed over and aggressively yelled at us to leave the store. He shouted and screamed at us for even offering $700 less and acted like a troublesome individual It was a deeply unprofessional and shocking outburst. We never raised our voices, never disrespected anyone -- we simply made a standard counteroffer and were already in our car trying to leave before the salesman came out in the first place. Wanting to give them a chance to explain, we spoke with the General Manager over the phone. Who did apologize and asked us to consider coming back. When asked what can we do to resolve this issue over the phone he stated that "we are really busy and like taking care of business in person," there was not a single costumer sitting down in that dealership when we were there. When we asked for the name of the manager who yelled at us, the GM refused to provide it and stated that they could not do that coldly ended the conversation by hanging up the phone. After the whole situation, we checked Yelp -- and of course, this dealerships has a 2.4-star rating. Now it all makes sense. Multiple reviews describe the exact same rude behavior, and a lack of transparency. This dealership lures people in with low online prices, then loads on undisclosed fees, especially if you're paying cash. And if you push back to slightly negotiate? Prepare to be insulted. Never ever have we had a dealership disrespect us and we have bought from many bigger and higher named dealerships before. We left feeling disrespected and misled. There are plenty of honest dealerships out there. This isn't one of them.
