Unfortunately, I did not walk away happy at all from my experience with Car Factory Outlet Miami…read more STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE To begin with, the car I purchased did NOT come with the original key or key fob. Instead, I was given a completely different third-party key, and I was told I would receive information later to obtain the proper FOB. That never happened. Honda quoted me around $275 plus tax just to cut and program a replacement key/fob for the vehicle. Every time I followed up with the dealership, I was given the runaround and told the car was sold "as is." Second, the pricing and financing process felt extremely misleading. I was initially told my payments would be around $367 monthly, but after fees and paperwork, the payment ended up being about $400. Important details were not properly explained before I signed. I also noticed the contract listed the vehicle at around 43,000 miles, but by the time I drove it off the lot it was already showing around 46,000 miles. What became even worse was the financing situation afterward. The dealership apparently could not secure financing through a bank, yet they continued having me make monthly payments directly to them instead. My checks were being deposited into the dealership's account rather than through an actual lender. During this process, my credit was negatively affected. The experience became so stressful and unprofessional that I ultimately had to hire a lawyer to resolve the issue. After legal involvement, the dealership was forced to take the vehicle back and issue me a full refund. It was an exhausting and horrible experience overall. While the staff may come across as friendly during the sales process, I personally felt misled and poorly handled throughout the entire ordeal. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a vehicle here carefully steer clear. Don't waste your time or your money.

I visited CarMax probably at least 10 times to test drive cars, transferred cars in from other locations, etc. and Carl helped me through the whole process and ultimately helped me find my absolute perfect car. I will refer everyone I know to this CarMax because of the exceptional service from him and everyone there.

Former Employee I…read moreworked at CarMax, and while the company talks a big game about integrity and customer satisfaction, the reality behind the scenes is a lot messier than they'd like you to believe. The "customer first" image is pushed hard, but as an employee, it often felt like numbers and quotas came first--by a mile. Cars were rushed through inspections to meet deadlines, and there was always pressure to move inventory, even when it clearly needed more attention. That famous "125-point inspection"? Let's just say it's more about checking boxes than actually checking the car. Management varied wildly--some tried their best, others were more interested in micromanaging or playing favorites. Advancement felt more political than performance-based, and good employees were often overlooked while others coasted by doing the bare minimum. If you're thinking of buying a car here, double-check everything and don't rely too heavily on the CarMax "stamp of approval." If you're considering working here, just know that the culture isn't nearly as polished as the commercials make it seem. Disappointed to leave with such a bitter taste, but I can't say I'm surprised. May god look over this company and renew its workforce and maybe they can stay true to there words .
