Almost an hour had passed and we still had not received any food and the bar man said the food hadn't even began to be cooked after we'd spend over 150 euro. Another 20 minutes passed and the most pathetic toasted sandwich arrived that was cold and the cheese in in was like an easy single cheese slice you'd get on a burger. Absolutely vile. We then asked for a refund for all the food as the other 4 peoples meals hadn't arrived and we had to leave for our flights (we'd been there over an hour and half). The bar man said that he wasn't able to give a refund because the manager wasn't there, and then proceeded to use sexist slurs directed at one of the women in our group who was requesting the refund, which was despicable. It's clear the staff just do not care at all and another member of staff was on her phone while there was a long queue of people. Avoid at all costs as the staff are horrendous, the food (the small amount we got) was disgusting and it is incredibly overpriced. We eventually got a refund when we returned to our respective countries after having to go through the corporate channels with the company.

The place used to house a shabby old bodega, but this bar has totally renovated the place and it looks so cosy (albeit dark). The tap list (24 taps?) was excellent last time I was there. I got to try the Marshmallow Porter from Tiny Rebels, Mango Hallonfeber from Brewski and the delicious (and spicy) Thai Speedway Stout from Alesmith. The price might be a little bit higher than those places downtown, but since we can walk to this place, instead of going "all-the-way" to the centrum, we're happy with it. It really is worth the trip, not far from the nearest metro stop it best described as a grainy hipster bar where 99% of the clientele are locals. There are retro pictures on the walls and bicycles hanging from the roof. Apart from that it is pretty basic with no fancy edges, just a chalkboard with 10-ish craft beers from across the globe on tap. I had an amazing IPA from New Zealand which is one of the best beers I have had on this trip to Copenhagen. Definitely worth a look if you like new beers and want to get of the beaten track. (Sadly no wi-fi though)

I was dragged here after a hearty meal at the Ethiopian restaurant on the same street further down Nørrebrogade and this place is just perfect. I like that there are more and more craftbeer bar in Copenhagen that gives no excuse to drink a bad beer. They have their beer list on the blackboard by the bar and you could get a taste of what you will order, and since it's called Ølsnedkeren, they make their own bottled beer as well. Too bad I had to hurry home because I was drinking on a Wednesday, but I would definitely come back to this place again.
