This visit was ruined by an unnecessarily rude waitress. We asked if we could have a glass of water…read moreinstead of the complimentary glass of milk that comes with the children's menu. The waiter said he would handle it, but after paying we saw the water appearing as a separate item on the bill. A different waitress was handling our payment, and when we asked about the water she initially said that they couldn't switch out milk for water in the menu, but it seemed like she was okay with letting us not pay for it.
She then walks to the register and offhandedly tells the waiter who took our order about the situation, and this is when the situation escalates completely unnecessarily. The waiter along with a third waitress who until now had had no involvement in our visit, comes over to our table and aggressively and repeatedly tells us that it's impossible for them to serve a glass of water instead of milk with the menu.
At this point the situation is feeling somewhat ridiculous, and in the middle of arguing with the waiter and the new waitress the waitress who handled our payment comes over with money for the water, so the argument stops, the staff walks away from our table and we gather our things. At this point the waiter and the aggresive waitress starts talking under their breath in our direction, calling us petty while laughing and shaking their heads until we leave the restaurant. A completely childish and unacceptable reaction to a simple question about an item on the bill ruined an otherwise fine experience.
