I have traveled past Needles several times lately and stopped in to a few times use the powder room and occasionally grab a bite. Always the place is filthy. Our burgers were swimming in dressing, my kids cookie was burnt, and the mix on the soda machines is way off. This place needs new management and staff. read more

The food was okay but there was one table in the restaurant and it took about five minutes to order four combos because, apparently, their computer system is a hassle to customize orders (like three #2s but large vs medium, no lettuce, etc.) and the cashier felt compelled to educate me on this as though I was inconveniencing her. Then it took over 10 minutes to get the food because nothing was prepped, and finally they prepared a drive-thru order (which showed up after us) before ours. Maybe it's because we showed up at 7:30 pm and not a peak time, and maybe they were short handed, but in any event, wasn't a five-star experience. If you're traveling and stopping in Needles, drive down the road, I'm sure there's something better! read more

Awful Awful Awful. Number 1 the poor guy up front was the Only employee for 30+customers up front. He did the best he could God bless him. Not a single table was clean, the floors were filthy. The regional manager needs to get in there and hire 2 more people for the front end of the house. My wife and son had never been and both said 1 and done... As in they won't go back.... The regional manager should be embarrassed. They hurt there brand with my family. Furthermore watching an large Asian family 10+ bring all of their own food and unwrap and distribute it was disgraceful and offensive. Please help the hard working solo worker up front. Sat at the window of the drive thru for at least 20/30 min. Got our food, we ordered zucchini not fries, they gave us fries. Chicken sandwich bun was burnt, probably a cup of mayo, soggy lettuce and tomato. Called the store talked with the manager. He was very nice and apologizing, said he just got there a week ago. And he is making changes. Even admitted he has his work cut out for him. At least the manager seemed to have good customer service read more

The absolute worst service ever. I would normally never write a review for a fast food chain but this place is unbelievable. The bathroom was one of the dirtiest I've ever seen. I'm talking flies were buzzing around the toilet. DISGUSTING. The flies were also flying around the kitchen area. If the bathroom looks like that then I'd hate to see what the kitchen looks like. You couldn't pay me to eat food from here. I ordered my food on a regular Monday afternoon on the way home from Havasu. We waited 25 minutes inside after ordering and our order still wasn't ready. After 30 minutes, I finally went up and asked for a refund. I got a refund. Never got my food and neither did anyone else. Everyone else waiting for their food was also complaining. This Carl's is dirty. They had food sitting out so I ask for fresh food and the cook got pissed and threw hamburger patties across the kitchen. When I opened the ranch it was spoiled. The mop was sitting out, just sitting there. The guy in front of us waited 15 min. For food. They had no chicken for chicken sandwiches. The cashier said it was still frozen. My wife, daughter and I were traveling through Needles in our car on our way to a mini family vacation in Laughlin. We stopped at this Carl's because the family members in the other car that were following us, were hungry and they wanted to stop. What a mistake! They still get two stars because the food (when it finally came out was delicious). First lets starts with the dining room full of people and no orders being passed out to people. This was after they had one cashier taking orders where there should have been at least two. Then once the cashier was done taking orders and the girl that was told to jump onto the register finally stopped taking out the trash (after 10 mins) orders started to be passed out. The two girls started talking crap to each other in front of a dining room full of people. The manger who was making orders in the back yelled out and told them to stop it. Cons: Slow service. Starburger was cold. Tasted like it was probably cooked the day before. Onion rings were greasy (left a coating of grease in your mouth.) They could not find the holiday cups. Slooooooow service!!!! We ordered teriyaki turkey burgers, one with no lettuce. We drove away and the burgers were famous stars, both with no lettuce. And we were charged as if we got the more expensive TURKEY burger. We drove all the way back to be told they are out of turkey and lettuce. Thanks for the heads up Carl's Jr. Terrible. The wait was so long and the service so lousy, that I thought I was on candid camera. I actually asked others if they were actors and it was some kind of joke and I was getting "punked". The burger was soggy because it took so long to get the fries. It was about 20 minutes from ordering to get served. Every customer was upset. For fast food restaurant just off the highway, this place is so unorganized & slow. Person on register (inside) takes order, get drinks & hands out food. They were 3 deep in backed up drive through orders (so much so that people were coming in to get food instead of waiting in parked car) They could not tell me or quickly figure out which would be most cost effective way to order. Guy just kept blaming new computer system. I never once saw a manager try to come manage the chaos. Our onion rings were missing from our order & they never brought them to us (my husband finally went & got). After observing while eating it seems as the people are scrambling to try cover for missing employees. The owner of this store needs to address this problem soon. Ok... wow... based on the other reviews I should be thrilled they did not throw my food at me and chase me around the parking lot with a chain saw! My experience is this is a Carls Jr. in Needles, CA. The bar was set VERY low when I walked in. First, the chain is not Ruth's Chris, so I am not expecting an executive chef in the kitchen. Beyond, I am willing to bet that they hire local talent. Probably aren't too many world-class fast food employees commuting in from Vegas to make this baby fire on all cylanders! Keyword is typical! No surprises, food tastes like the artery blocking goodness that all of this place's cousins in the big city serve. Grammar is slightly poorer (anyone catch that?!?) at the drivethru, blah blah blah. Fact of life for Needles: things cost more! Because the Peoples Republic of California LOVE regulations, most products have to be purchased IN CALIFORNIA, then trucked out to the far reaching areas. Just admire the gas prices next time you are there. If I pay an extra $0.50 for a hamburger I look at it as my fault for getting hungry in Needles. Biggest change I would make would be the standard recommendations for all fast food restaurants: Try to hire high school graduates, drug test, open earlier. DO NOT EAT HERE!! There literally should be an option for no stars. First we order and the cashier messes up multiple times. Then we get our food with half of it missing. My food in particular was what really pushed us off the edge, I ordered the jalapeño burger and when I took a bite of it, it was ice cold. The bun was cold, the meat was cold. When telling the staff they told me "of course it's cold the jalapeños come cold" I said okay.... but why is the meat ice cold. They said they would remake it, so I waited. Everyone in my party ate their food and I asked them if they were still remaking it. Finally I got my burger, and it was steaming hot. Literally.. but not in a good way. They literally put the entire sandwich in the microwave... how do I know ? The lettuce liquified and the tomato was steaming and soggy. Obviously they're being smart a$$ about it. I took the burger back and asked the man at the register if he would eat this and If not then why would they service this to a customer. I told them I was over it and wanted a refund. The cook and or manager not sure what he was came out arguing with me that he did not microwave the sandwich. I wish I would have taken a picture of how disgusting the sandwich looked. After he continued arguing we told him he has the worst customer service we've ever encountered, and he said "if you don't like it, go somewhere else". When I walked in the line was clear to the door, not because they were that busy, but because the 1 cashier was away from register looking for Catsup. All I have to say is LONG WAIT. We arrived at the drive through at 11 am and we ordered right away. They didn't have Green Burrito open, so we ordered off the regular menu. We pull up behind the car that is at the pick up window and waiting a while. In total, from the time we ordered to the moment they handed our food over, it was 32 minutes. The buns for the hamburgers were hard and the employees are slow as molasses getting the order right and finished. I could tell the lady taking orders at the window was very embarrassed. I have just moved to Needles and I went to Carl's for a fast bite. I waited in line at the drive thru 20 min with 2 cars ahead of me not moving, I got mad, pulled out of line and went home and made a egg sandwich. Second trip to Carl's again I waited in line fifteen minutes, food OK. Third trip, I waited at the window 20 minutes, the only reason I did not drive away was they had already collected my money, that I was going to demand back if they ever came back to the window. When they did finally come back to the window they had my order. I pulled ahead to check my order in orders to let the cars behind me advance to the window. My order was not warm but very cold. I parked and went inside and demanded my money back, which they gave me. On departure I informed them that I would never be back, and I haven't. The only reason this Carl's is still in business is because of I40. The locals know not to go here. As far as I am concerned three strikes, there out! read more
