The one thing no city is ever short of... Burger joints . Now the big thing about burger joints is the taste . I much prefer flame broiled than on a flat stove . Carl's jr is flame broiled and if not mistaken, made to order. In other words , it's not sitting in some warm oven in a tray drying up like Mother Hubbard. I've never been to Carl's and after work I was hungry enough and didn't want to cook. I got the western burger which has bacon , onion rings , cheese and two patties ... The place was pretty clean and service was quick. Good burger... You know what I was pleasantly surprised. I had never been here previously and the food was actually quite good. I wasn't super fond of the fries but the kid enjoyed a meal and I rather liked my sandwich. I will likely return here sometime. The chicken was high quality too. Seems like it is a newly introduced burger in their menu and it is definitely going to be a hit. While many places offer discount menu items, Carl's Jr offerings are less obvious on the menu. You can certainly tell you got the lower end items when the food comes out. I went for their Triple Double Deals which "start at $2.99" on the sign outside but start at $5.99 inside. I assume something can be had for that lower price but it is nowhere to be found when you get to the till. I tried a California Classic Cheeseburger meal which can with small fires and a small drink. At most, the food was OK. The burger was sloppy (not in a good way) but the fries were crisp. I actually couldn't tell what the topping were on the burger aside from the lettuce and tomato. If you really want to try their food, spend more for their higher price burgers which gets you a fancier bun, ether toppings, etc. The difference between their low & high end offerings is noticeable. The dining area was clean and they serve your food to you at the table. You can tell the staff are earnest, friendly and attentive. They have that going for them. read more

The hotdogs here are microwaved. Ketchup dispenser is empty. If you ask for onion and want them raw make sure you are specific or you will get microwaved onions, that's their grilled onions. If you dont expect much you wont be disappointed read more

First time at Carl's Jr after I heard all the hype so we finally went there for supper. We ordered a portobello mushroom burger, teriyaki chicken burger , chicken tenders , Criss cut fries coming to a total of $26. About $8 a burger and $8 for the chicken I give this review three stars because the food was okay and the price $$. Based on the previous pictures I was fairly excited about the food quality. The teriyaki chicken had a very small ring of pineapple which you had to peel off the top to see. The chicken did have grill marks. The portobello mushroom burger had slices of mushrooms and not very many might I add... I could barely tell that the burger was charbroiled. Neither of the burgers look like the ones featured in thepictures posted here on yelp review by the owner. Took my own. Decent amount of food... I just had the chicken tenders. Five respectable size tenders sizzling hot and very juicy. Will definitely come back for them. I got two large plum dipping sauces. Very happy with friendly service. I had to wait about 4 minutes at the take out window... not sure if that is a first world problem or not but I felt awkward. Will definitely try more of their menu items. read more

The staff is great, and it's quite nice inside. I'm such a sucker for a good flame-broiled burger. I was in need of some greasy goodness after drinking to much for New Year's Eve, so why not try out this place! It was good, I had the California double cheese burger, fries and a coke. Not sure what the food is like. Been stuck in the drive-through behind two other cars for fifteen minutes now. I may change the rating higher if I ever get to eat. Finally got my food after 18 minutes in the drive through. Each car in front of me got one small bag and one drink so I'm not sure what the issue was. I tried the three bacon burger. It was dry and had none of the bacon jam stuff it was suppose to have. The burger was better than mcdonalds , about equal to Wendy's which is still not that great. The poutine was Ok and the girl at the window was nice so I bumped the review up to two stars. Probably won't eat at Carl's jr again. read more

I was getting tired of Fatburger and so I decided to start going to Carl's Jr. It's a little further away but worth the drive. The chicken tenders are good but I prefer to get the 1/2 pound burgers lettuce wrapped. The waffle fries and onion rings are equally crispy and good. I work near by and every time I go it's usually 12:30, I am in and out with in 10-15 min. One thing I wasn't happy about, was twice I ordered a poutine and they were over flowing the sides of the carton making a mess in the bag covering my hands with gravy using up half the napkins. But overall good serves good food. read more

I come to this place often however they close before their posted hours state they are closed. They closed tonight just before 950 where their hours state open till 10pm. While I can understand that they are trying to save money the company loses businesses and customers because they decide to close early. This is quite disheartening as if the hours say you are open till 10pm you should be open until that hour. read more

Ordered the Western Bacon Chzburger with onion rings for $11 for dinner; could not finish. Heat lamped, soggy, and flattened burger with really greasy o-rings. Horrible food. Wish I had taken a photo, it was so bad. It's a brand new place so its clean and service is good. One star because the food is that bad.
