Typically a conversation is had regarding toppings...cheese...and of course choice of sauce. Nope. She just headed to the back and began making it. Thankfully...It wound up with sweet sauce, lettuce and tomato, but had that not been what I wanted, we may had an issue. Donair itself was decent. A little on the small size. Meat was good. Veggies were a little bland. Could have been fresher. Pita was soft. Sweet sauce was also not too shabby. While I certainly wasn't "knocked out" by anything...I was actually caught off guard by the meal shining above everything else about the place. I'm pleased enough that I may one day stop in and check out the value of their large donair for $10. If this were my local shop, only finding it open after 3 tries may turn me off. But I'd keep my eyes peeled for their open sign...and give'em another chance if the stars aligned.
