I ordered door dash for my mom and dad, it's his birthday today! I ordered and paid, it was promptly delivered the wrong meal! I ordered 2 double burgers (one was in a lettuce wrap), 2 waffle fries, and a strawberry shake! My parents got no waffle fries, 1 burger, chicken tenders, regular fries, and sodas! How embarrassing! I have never had a problem ordering food for them through Door Dash. I tried to call the restaurant, and the number is disconnected!! I also called the driver that didn't have a clue! After going to a meeting, I took an associate to Carl's since I had not been there recently. When I lived in California, my favorite burger joints were all Carl's. I often had their California roast beef. It was like an Arby's with a slice of steamed Anaheim chili. It was so good they do not sell it anymore. Yesterday, the change for $17 combo came to $3.1. The selling clerk gave me a dime and I asked about the $3 I did not receive. Her retort was that she gave the bills and the dime concurrently. She did not. I've been in Cheyenne for two weeks now and have gone to this location 5 times. They are consistently putting out good food with fast service. I have only gone through the drive thru but I plan on going in this next week and seeing the restaurant myself. All the staff have been friendly and pleasant to speak with. They have a very aggressive political sticker on the outside of the drive thru window. People are allowed to have political opinions but an explicit aggressive sticker on the outside of a business seems like bad taste. I would feel the same way regardless of the stance it was supporting. read more

I wish I had seen the previous reviews for this filthy place. Either they were short handed with 3 people working, or they just really didn't want to be there at all. At one point, I heard the girl ask if they should just shut the doors two hours before they closed, because they got so far behind. She came to the counter finally after about 3 minutes of us standing there (no one acknowledged we were there), she was rude and talked to us like we were a pain in her ass. Only one persons seemed to be "working" to make decent customer service sort of a thing. Wanted to write another review because I went there a few days ago, used the drive-thru, had another great plant based burger, and, most significantly, was waited on by the nicest clerk (a woman) who I have had the pleasure to encounter in a fast food place in a long, long time. To start off with, this restaurant was much better when they we're Hardee's. Now, that being said, I do like their breakfast menu here. Everything from their croissants to biscuits and gravy to the hash browns. I think Carl's Jr. has the fast food market cornered when it comes to their breakfast menu. Although the last time I was there for breakfast, the guy with the homemade duck tape helmet standing outside the door staring off into space talking to himself was a little weird. Oh well, the breakfast made it worth it. I'm not really a fan of their dinner menu. The Grilled Bacon Burger thing isn't too bad, but its just not my thing. After 35 minutes the manager came out and asked if I was waiting for someone. I went to this Carls Jr. a week ago and was disgusted by a couple things. 1. The cook was handling food with his bare hands. I mentioned the cook should be wearing gloves he immediately put them on. However he did not wash and dry his hands before putting the gloves on. 2. As soon as I was out of view the cook removed his gloves and continued to operate without gloves. I talked to the manager and he explained the cooks wash their hands often. I am sorry but that is not good enough. 3. as a result of my noticing the cook not wearing gloves. My bread was smashed up and it fell apart. No doubt he was mad and that is not acceptable. 4. When I told the manager about how my chicken sandwich was prepared he did return my money to me. 5 I am giving this establishment a 1 star due to the kitchen did seem to be clean from what I could see and the dining area was ok, we did have to search for a clean table however the girl working behind the counter when she had a free moment was walking around and appeared to be cleaning tables. read more

By far the worst carls jr. I have ever been too. The meat was dry, chewy, and was Burnt so bad on the edges my dog wouldn't even eat it. I could barely bite through the bread without the whole burger falling apart. IT IS ALSO BY FAR THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARLS JR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. 2.19 for one chicken sandwich. I usually pay that same price for two! AND TO TOP IT OFF, IT WAS STILL FROZEN IN THE MIDDLE!!! I will not return ever. This place needs to be inspected by the health advisor. Would certainly not recommend. Normally, I'm the last person to complain but I felt compelled to speak up on what I believe was purposeful misrepresentation/fraud. Went in for breakfast to try somewhere new this morning. Ordered the "Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich" combo that I saw on the menu and was charged for in accordance with menu price. Guy who certainly acted like the manager asked if I'd like a receipt, I said no. I then saw him go talk to the cook in the back. Arrived at work with a bun and a piece of melted cheese inside. Certainly not the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich shown on the overhead menu or detailed online or the one I was charged for. I get the desire to cut corners to "lower food costs" and I am always happy to cut places breaks for mistakes; but where I won't cut a place a break is when I believe there was an intentional act to screw/mislead the customer. I've been there a total of 3 times and each time I kick myself for going back. I stopped by my first time to grab a bite to eat before a meeting of sorts, and the cashier stood around talking to the manager about his "bitch at home" who wasn't letting him build a man cave. It took 20 minutes just to get some chicken strips, a shake, and fries, and they were all very cold and I was the only one in the building. No drive-thru either. The second time, I didn't order but my friend did, and it wasn't as bad as the first time, but still not great. The third time, yesterday, I went in to order just a chocolate shake, and the cashier walked quite slowly and ended up giving me the wrong shake, then made a new one, and it was practically half full. I work in the food business as well, and I have made plenty of smoothies in less time than what took her to make one vanilla shake with chocolate sauce. Then today, I couldn't find my wallet and the last place I remember it being was at Carl's Jr., so I just called in to see if it might be there, and no one answered. The staff is dysfunctional. The food is usually average, but the chicken tenders are above average. Even though the staff is physco, I've been back for the chicken tenders. On top of the staff you have homeless folks wondering about the property. They are usually harmless, but the last time I was there there was an individual, that appeared to be homeless, asking for food and when he didn't receive it he started screaming profanity at the staff and dropping the F bomb. I have been there a few times to eat with my kids, the people are nice and polite but the food is way over priced and not worth the money. I also had to wait way too long. There is also now a sink hole that has been "fixed" but its still getting bigger and smells of sewage...... not somewhere I'd like to get my food from.
