I've been under the care of Dr. Buten. I appreciate his efficiency, but also his time to care about my health and goals. I feel like he strikes a great balance with not spending forever at the doctors office, but also gets the job done. I've primarily only visited with him, so can't speak for the PA staff, but think his care is great. He is also very responsive on the portal, which is much easier than calling--love that feature! All of the staff are courteous and nice when I've had to come in. It's somewhat easy to get an appointment within the week or so. Office is clean and organized. Usually don't have to go too often, but glad I've found a place that is comfortable for me to go to!

When I tried to make an appointment it would have been 3 weeks before he had time available. I told them all I needed was to renew my prescriptions. So they told me Alison the PA could help me with that. At least she was able to see me within 5 days. And it didn't start well with her but it ended well. First of all, the chart that she reviewed before seeing me wasn't mine but she corrected it. Second, with the new Memorial Care system, some of my information was missing so I had to let her know how much MG some of my medication was...annoying. What I like about Alison was she was very thorough. She had requested all my lab test and one blood test that was the latest in testing for cancer. Today, I got my results back from Quest (which took 2 weeks), let's see if they follow up on my results. I guess no news is good news. If no one follows up I will definitely switch providers. In the meantime, I'll go on Quest website and see if I can figure it out.

It was black, purple, and blue and the ankle was swollen when I arrive at Dr, Sheidayi. He took the time and went over many labs I have from various specialist over several years since. I also have Lupus, Sygrogen Syndrome, Rheumathoid Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, and High Cholesterol. My liver and kideny numbers were also high = ATS and ALT. Immediately he started me on Farxiga/Diapagliflozin and adjusted many of my other meds I was on. He started referring me to ALL new specilaist. I got a new Rheumatologist, Cardiologist, Gastroentrologist, Pulmanologist, Hemotologist, Nephrologist, etc. He actually calls them on my behalf in fornt of me at times to coordinate best treatments for me. I am so thankful I had him on my team and coach, because I ended up being diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double masatectonopy in 2021 and Dr, Sheidayi has been instrumental in getting my ALT and AST down so that I was able to undergo the surgery. Her continues to provide me with the very best care I have ever received in over 45 years of my medial journey.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with Dr. Sheidaei…read more During a very difficult time, when my father had just been discharged from the hospital in poor condition and I did not yet have a family doctor, I was referred to Dr. Sheidaei's office and was given an appointment. While on the way, I called to inform them I would be about 5 minutes late, but I was told I had no appointment and that the doctor was not accepting new patients, despite the fact that I had already been scheduled and selected under my insurance. I want to mention that the office itself was clean, quiet, and well organized. There were two receptionists present, and both of them were respectful, kind, and did their best to assist us professionally. After insisting, I was told to come in. My father was in a wheelchair, weak and confused, and needed care. Unfortunately, Dr. Sheidaei's behavior was very unprofessional. He appeared impatient, dismissive, and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. He also stated that he does not accept Medi-Cal patients, which was confusing given the prior confirmation. What was most upsetting was the tone and attitude we received during such a vulnerable moment. Instead of compassion, we felt judged and unwelcome. When I asked if he could also see my mother in the future, he responded in a very inappropriate and humiliating way, saying in a threatening tone that I should "not push things" or he might refuse to see my father as well. This was extremely distressing and unacceptable, especially given my father's condition. I understand that medical offices are busy, but basic respect and professionalism should always be present, especially when dealing with patients in critical conditions. I am sharing this so others are aware of my experience and he could have treated this situation more professional instead of taking advantage of me being alone and weak

The nurse who attended me prior to be treated by the doctor had a pleasant demeanor and made sure I was ok. Then I was seen by PA Kady. He was knowledgable and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. The total time of my visit was about 40 minutes from check in to check out and my needs were well addressed. I will definitely be back for any medical issues.

I started seeing her back in the 90's and have been going ever since. Not only is she one of the smartest people I have ever met, she is pure gold. She cares. She tells you the truth. She will explain everything and give you advice on how to live and eat well. She is a very special doctor, and others know about how special she is. Sometimes the front office staff can be a little "rushed" and "short" with you, but that never is the case with my doctor. I can tell her anything, and know she is there to give medical and worldly advice on all areas on life. We are so blessed to have Dr. Goodfellow.

During the intake call, staff discovered I had seen a different doctor at this practice a single time, six years ago. I stopped going back then because that doctor and her staff made me deeply uncomfortable -- I hadn't sought medical care since, largely because of that experience. When I explained this and asked to see the doctor I had actually selected, I was told the practice's policy required me to stay with the original doctor, with no exceptions. I asked to speak with a manager, explained my situation again in detail, and was told the same thing: I could only be seen by the doctor who made me uncomfortable in the first place, or not at all. I find it hard to understand how a medical practice can hear "this provider made me feel unsafe/uncomfortable, and it's the reason I avoided care for six years" and respond with a rigid scheduling policy instead of any flexibility or compassion. Patient comfort and trust should matter, especially when someone is finally trying to re-engage with their health after avoiding it. This policy actively discourages people from seeking care. I would not recommend this practice based on how this was handled.

Dr. Chang is a phenomenal doctor. He's dedicated, caring, and efficient. He always listens to any…read moreconcerns I may have and takes them seriously, and he never hesitates to refer me to a specialist when needed. I also appreciate that he has walk-in hours available for emergencies so you're not waiting for weeks (or even days) when you have an emergency or need to see the doctor urgently. (I've even had to schedule an urgent pre-op appointment and they worked really hard to make it work with my limited timeline and the doctor's limited availability). His front desk is also really great. If I need something, I don't need to ask for any specific person, they all know how to handle questions, cases, and concerns. Truly, they are great at what they do and they're incredibly efficient. When I ask for a referral or let them know about a concern, I know I don't have to follow-up and I will be hearing from the doctor or the office SOON. I even had a more urgent case that I wanted dealt with as quickly as possible, so I called and got the office's email and sent them the necessary paperwork before my specialist did and I had a referral and follow-up material within 24 hours. When you have lab tests, tests or xrays in general, or anything that requires your attention, someone will call and follow-up and update you on the situation and potential next steps. They may not be the gentlest about it but I prefer a straighforward approach so that I can handle whatever I'm dealing with as quickly and as best as possible. This office is kind, efficient, and very good at what they do. I've been coming here for YEARS, have gotten my family to come here as well, and hope to continue to be coming here for many more years to come. A truly fantastic doctor and office.
