Like many people I've researched and tested a few psychiatrist and Dr. Davis and I clicked on very well from day 1, and ever since we only got better in all ways possible. 1st Dr. Davis really cares about my well being and he really asks the right questions to guide me to the right direction along with medications to support my needs. Dr. Davis is really down to earth and very easy going to allow me to really open up and honestly, he knows me very well which allows him to give me some life counseling and guidance in some of my lowest moments in life, and Dr. Davis has seen me grow so much from when I didn't have kids to now happily married with 2 kids. With proper medications and checkups I was able to make my life much more enjoyable, making my life much more positive, and just overall a better person living a healthy life. I see Dr Davis as a good friend to chit chat about anything. Also I have to give a big shout out to Barbara, his secretary is also very cool and down to earth dealing with my scheduling, and appointment reminders. Overall Dr Davis and Barbara makes a all start great team and I highly recommend anyone reading this to really give Dr. Davis a try and you won't be disappointed!

Where other psychs have tried to…read moreshove benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, etc.) down my throat, Dr. Schuder takes a holistic approach with her patients and has blood work done to get to the root of the problem checking endocrine levels, cortisol levels, thyroid levels. It was worth every penny to be honest. In our first few sessions, we went over my family history and the results of the blood work and urinalysis which was so enlightening. I had been going through my life with low thyroid and cortisol levels and wouldn't have known had it not been for her. Her psychoanalysis techniques have me leaving each session with a "lightbulb" moment. I love how her approach to prescriptions and supplements are holistic and naturally derived rather than more popular synthetic forms. She is kind, nurturing, funny, and very approachable. Her front office staff is very flexible and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Schuder. I swear me and my husband would be divorced without this woman helping each of us.

What has surprised me the most in working with Dr. Tran is the way he listens -- deeply, patiently,…read moreand with genuine interest. Before him, I had experiences where I felt like I had to fight to be heard, rush through concerns, or only share the "important" symptoms because I worried the provider didn't have time for the rest. That kind of environment makes it hard to be vulnerable or honest. With Dr. Tran, it's the complete opposite. For the first time, I feel like I can say everything without needing to filter or edit myself. He listens to the full story, even when I'm rambling, anxious, or unsure how to articulate what l'm feeling. He doesn't interrupt. He doesn't rush me along. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He lets me speak in my own pace and my own way. Then, once I'm finished, he reflects back what he heard - not in a robotic way, but in a way that makes it clear he truly understood what I meant, not just what I said. That level of careful listening has helped me open up more than I ever have in mental health treatment. There have been sessions where I walked in overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, or feeling completely lost. He never looks uncomfortable or impatient. He stays calm, grounded, and steady, gently guiding me through the conversation until I can breathe again and see things clearly. That kind of support has been invaluable. And when I have questions -- whether about symptoms, medications, or even just the emotional experience of what I'm going through -- he answers them thoroughly and thoughtfully. Never rushed. Never dismissive. Never acting like I should already know the answer. I always leave appointments feeling more informed, more grounded, and more seen. Because I finally feel truly heard, my progress has accelerated dramatically. I'm able to share things I've held in for years, and that honesty has transformed the way I understand myself. I can't express how rare and meaningful that experience has been.

So many clinicians focus only on symptom checklists: sleep, appetite, energy, mood rating, anxiety level. But they overlook the deeper layers that drive those symptoms. Dr. Tran does the opposite. He understands that mental health is connected to everything: relationships, identity, stress, physical health, past experiences, lifestyle, trauma, even daily habits. And he weaves all of those layers into treatment in a way that feels seamless and supportive.   He asks about what's happening at work, at home, socially, emotionally, physically. Not out of curiosity, but because he understands how interconnected each part of life is. He notices patterns between sleep, stress, mood, and behavior. He helps me understand how certain environments impact me or how certain habits influence my energy. His holistic approach isn't just psychological. It's practical. He encourages healthy routines, grounding techniques, boundaries, coping strategies, scheduling adjustments, and lifestyle shifts that actually fit into my life. None of it feels overwhelming or unrealistic. He explains why each change matters and how it supports the bigger picture. Because he treats me as a whole person, I've noticed improvements far beyond my initial symptoms. My confidence is higher. My energy is better. My daily functioning has improved. I feel more balanced emotionally and more capable mentally. Working with him has shown me what psychiatric care should be: not just symptom management, but true whole-person healing.

He allows his patients to email him - and he responds quite promptly. When I am depressed out of my mind I don't want to call anyone. The option to email and request an appointment or just get emotional support is a ENORMOUS plus for me. 2. Dan is very empathetic, a great listener and he really cares how you are doing. 3. Dan is systematic in his treatment approach yet he also thinks out of the box. He combines data (such as blood tests) with his experience and knowledge. 4. Dan was the only one out of four top psychiatrists who was able to relive my severe treatment resistant depression. I have suffered for years and years and my previous doctors and second opinion doctors couldn't relieve my severe depression. Dan found the right cocktail of medications to relieve my depression. 5. Dan is very open to collaborating with other doctors- such as psychologists, endocrinologists, and even other psychiatrists. 6. Dan's qualifications speak for themselves. Dan is double board certified as an adult and a child/adolescent psychiatrist. Dan completed a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford. He graduated from USC medical school. You can view his website for a complete listing of his training and qualifications. But suffice it to say, the man is well educated and brilliant. 7. Dan is a consummate professional. Even though our insurance does not cover Dr. Globus and he is an hour away we plan on staying with him. He is well worth it. I can't thank Dr. Globus enough. The following is our experience: My 25 year old son was diagnosed with temporary psychosis in June of this year. He had been going to an intensive outpatient program for 6 weeks and he was not improving and honestly was going backwards. Through my insurance company I was not able to get an appointment with a psychiatrist because they are so far behind and the wait for an appointment was 4-6 weeks. I was desperate and started researching the internet to see if I could find somewhere to take him in between getting an appointment through our insurance company. I found Gordon Globus on the internet and started researching his reviews. I called late Thursday night and left a message. I was completely shocked but he returned my phone call that night. He talked to me for a good 15 minutes on the phone and he was able to hear what was going on. He scheduled an appointment to see him the next day. I brought my son to the appointment the next day. Dr. Globus knew from my previous conversation with him that my son is reluctant to take medication and was very guarded. Dr. Globus was patient with him and explained things very well. He was part of the team trying to help my son. This is a much different experience than in the past as he wanted to know what was going on from the family's perspective too. Dr. Globus followed up with us the next day and continues to be very active in my son's treatment. My son has needed tweaks to his medication and Dr. Globus has been available by phone or email anytime we need guidance. Dr. Globus has honestly been a GOD send during the most difficult time in my son's life.
