Foodwise.......don't be afraid to keep it simple. It's all about the food. When I asked the young lady what to get she did not hesitate. Club! Fantastic sandwich. Old school. The other choices will tempt me to come back. I was so pleasantly surprised in general with Chester and the hospitality. Downtown is certainly working on some things, but it's like looking spritely! We were in St. Martin on vacation for a few days and chose this place for our first night in town. The space is absolutely beautiful and the service was top-notch from start to finish. We started with drinks and they were strong and really well made. For entrées, my cousin had the fish and enjoyed it, and I had the steak. It was decent, but I didn't realize it would come pre-sliced, and it could've used a bit more salt. The side of mashed potatoes was very good. They surprised my cousin with a faux birthday cake and a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. It seemed like almost everyone there that night was celebrating a birthday! I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. This is a great spot for photo ops, girls' night, celebrations, or even date night.
