He came out, evaluated the tile, and was candid in revealing that much of the wear of our tile was typical, and that most interventions to maintain cosmetic appearance often yielded little appreciable result but came with high cost. Moreover, he mentioned that based on the type of grout we have, the best thing we can do is regular routine cleaning and he recommended a safe sealant that could be applied ourselves. Seeing a print ad, we called The Grout Doctor. JJ was prompt in his reply and on-time for the appointment to see our problem and give an estimate. We found him to be thorough and knowledgeable. His estimate was based on square footage and was reasonable. We agreed on a date for the work to be done, less than a week out. JJ himself arrived on-time and was the one-man crew. His work was labor intensive, on the floor on hands and knees. He cleaned and stripped the tile floors, re-colored the grout and sealed it all in one day. This guy is a hard worker! Our floors are finally the way we want them. In addition, JJ was very respectful of our home, and when he left there was absolutely no additional clean up to be done. JJ knows his stuff, does a good job, works hard and is a very pleasant and personable young man.

That was a few days later. When Zach came back out, said it was $50 + $25/qt. I asked him, to no avail, if they waive the trip fee and he asked owner, the owner said no. I called after the service and all they could offer was a $25 credit for a future service because the "bank fees" were too high to run a credit. I will never use them again!

I was happily surprised at how quickly my appointment was scheduled (I called on a Monday, Appointment on a Thursday). On the day of the appointment, I was sent a text when they were on their way and the person to expect (Kelly!). Kelly was great. He saw that my outdoor spigot needed replacing and showed me what was broken. Fortunately, his equipment could still work with my spigot and he went to work to identify the stains on the carpet using a UV light. The actual work did not take too long and the carpet looked great when he was done. I would recommend Kelly and the business if you need to have your carpets cleaned.
