Pros: multiple water rides, multiple areas (wave pool, lazy river, obstacle course, kid area, baby…read moresplash pad, changing room, quiet zone), nicely kept, lifeguards everywhere, plenty of parking Cons: you can't bring your own food not even a water bottle just an unopened one, & they open at 11am You can however, leave the park and come back. I saw many people eating in their cars and returning inside. Will definitely be back but only when they have ticket sales. Tickets at regular price for $$$

Very fun, nice, conveniently located waterpark in Round Rock! Excellent place to kick off summer…read moreand enjoy a day out with the family. Friendly for kids of all ages with different sections offering slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and experiences for all age groups. My daughters (ages 7 and 3) particularly loved the kids slide section and the wave pool. I did see quite a few dead bugs and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool which was a little off putting. They have lockers to store belongings, as well as clean bathrooms and changing rooms onsite. They also offer a variety of food choices which are pretty good & reasonably priced. Very few crowds if you arrive right at opening time. I was happy to see there were no lines at all for the slides. They open a half hour early for season pass members; general admission is 11am. Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!

Went here for 2 birthday parties (ours and one for a friend) and 2 times (and most likely more in…read morethe future!!) just leisure family time. We went to celebrate a birthday. The process of reserving an umbrella was fairly easy online. When we got to the table they had our last name already in the spot I picked. You bring your own decorations for tables and food (they do have food trucks also). Place has so many people - given that Texas is suuuper hot during summers its not a surprise. They have Splashville: with a blue enclosed slide (goes fast since you cant see what tyrns come up next), and more "tame" slides colored yellow and orange. They have a place there over in Splashville where everyone splashes around. Lots of fun playscape type climbing apparatuses (apparati? Idk haha) for you to climb to where you wanna go. Over near middle of park is a little kid splash pad/very shallow pool that you can watch your littlies wade in. There's a short toy train slide they can go up and down on. Over near the left of entrance there's 2 tall water slides: one blue enclosed slide and a green one thats not. They're SUPER fun to go down. Over in the newest section of the park is a big action/lazy river where one can float to your heart's content. Plenty of tables around - your just have to come early to stake your spot so to speak. Overall place is very nice to play around in. There's no time limit and you can get a wristband to come in and out. Definitely coming back for more rock n rivery fun!!

Pros: -cheap tickets…read more-clean place -multiple park sections (volleyball, basketball, 2 lazy rivers, rock climbing wall!, two kid zones, 3 slides) -they let you bring your own food -you can literally be there from open to close Cons: -pay for kids 2 and under(most places they are free) -little tables available (get there early to secure a table, reserve one in advance, or table a picnic blanket and an umbrella to sit in the grass Something to note: it doesn't have a lot of rides like other water parks, it's more relaxing, playing a sport in the water, or kid zones. I would definitely go again it's small but also $20 for adults, a price you can beat for fun all day and no hidden fees. 20 is what you pay!

Deep Eddy Pool is an Austin institution! I spent many years at deep Eddie pool with family, friends…read moreand colleagues. It's nothing like swimming on a hot summer day. Your first impression of the pool will probably be wow it's large with so many lanes and many areas where you can just swim or float to your hearts content. Another impression might be and it was especially for me the bright blue water of the pool. It looks refreshing, cool, and inviting. Deep Eddiy pool has a oblong shape typical of large pools of its size. The pool has architecturally clean lines with precise corners. When you stand on the pool platform the vastness of the pool rushes to the forefront. Everytime I stick my foot in the water of the Deep Eddy pool, that cool refreshing feeling envelopes my body. Entry fees are very reasonable and can beas low as $2 per day. Paid parking is available in front of the pool and on the street. Nice relaxing self-care day...

There is no shade to speak of when in the water, so be sure to apply plenty of sunscreen. They have lockers to store valuables on site, but you need to bring your own lock. They also have dedicated dressing/shower areas and relatively clean toilets. If you don't use a locker, you have to place everything on the sides of the pool in the grass/dirt (be sure to bring a picnic blanket if you plan to hang out there at all). The grass/dirt area is nicely shaded. No beverages apart from water is allowed by the pool. Entry fees were $5/person for Austin residents. It was an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

It's a great public pool and the shallow area is definitely a plus for toddlers/kids. The pirate…read moreship and how you can go from the shallow part to the big pool is a nice transition. Lifeguards were there the entire time and I felt safe the entire time.

This place is absolutely amazing. First of all, there is something for every age group and swim…read moreskill - a wading area for littles, a 2-4 foot deep area for medium-range swimmers, and a 6+ foot deep area for strong swimmers and adults. There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.
