There are pavilions available and plenty of areas to sit down. The parking are was really good. There are several jungle gyms for the kiddos. The walking trail is well kept and free or holes or anything that will cause you to fall. I saw wildlife along the way. People were fishing, eating, walking, playing games, and just enjoying life. Loved it so much that I forgot to take photos…read more The equipment is awesome -- looks updated and has a ton of different climbing areas, etc. A good amount (and variety) of swings too. There are little hills next to the playground that have rock steps to climb. No idea if this is for humans or dogs or whatever but my toddler liked them! Ample green space to just run around (great if you have a younger toddler that can't use all the playground equipment yet). Lovely little walking trail nearby -- we had grandparents with us (stopped by en route to dinner) and they were able to take a nice walk. Ultimately, the design of this park is fantastic. The playground is surrounded by green space and separated from the parking area (which has ample spots btw) by large rocks. There is a road nearby but it's not super close and isn't particularly disruptive. Overall, it's just very pleasant being here. Loved it and wish it was closer.

After not visiting for a while, we stopped by today, and were surprised + impressed by the change! The play structures have been completely replaced and modernized. There are two separate structures for different age groups, and they are both fantastic. The playground is surrounded by large green spaces / fields, excellent for playing or practicing sports, flying kites, and more. My kids had a wonderful time playing and we can't wait to visit again soon, next time with a picnic lunch!

Best for older kids since you do lose sight of them when they're inside (made me a bit nervous with my 3.5 year old). Additionally, this park has a homestead. Really cool. You can wander around and see all the structures. The inside can be viewed via tour only. However, they are nice enough to leave one window open so you can peek inside. Had no issue snagging street parking nearby.

This event was held in the parking lot of the park and tons of people showed up. In one of the buildings nearby, there was an area set up for free photos, complete with a professional photographer. Shout out to Wells Branch MUD Parks & Recreation for this fun & memorable event!

Newest park in Cedar Park in the wonderful Bell District! This park just opened this week with…read morelimited amenities. The city is still working on park expansion, including a paved trail that takes you through the forest. This park is different from other parks in the area due to its close proximity next to the new Cedar Park library and the varied landscape. Much of the grass and forest is roped off to allow for proper time for growth and keeping nature natural. There are outdoor restrooms though they were closed when I went. They also have water fountains, a pavilion, and many picnic tables to study, eat, or just enjoy a conversation. Not much road noise can be heard from Bell Blvd, if any. The park is located adjacent to parking and the library so expect some noise. Parking looks to be very limited as street parking is offered. No immediate parking lots could be seen at time of writing. The trail extends from a sidewalk entrance on Bell Blvd and winds through the Bell District, linking up with Bell Park as it continues on into the forest. Many pet waste stations line the trail. As mentioned, the grass and trees are still establishing so the green areas of the park can't be used at the moment. But the barebones of what this park has now promises an eventful gathering space for generations to come. I can't wait for the future developments to come for this park!

There's a couple of playscapes, there plenty of room for walks, biking, and walking your dogs. There's also stream with a path through the nearby woods. My kids love playing hide n seek and tag here. They have have a couple of swing sets here as well. The bathrooms are also dealing well kept. I definitely recommend this park for your kids and running or walking your pets. It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking. Definitely check out this park if you're in the neighborhood!

Right in the middle of the Creekside neighborhood, is this cute, accessible, well-maintained…read moreplayground. It includes a smaller one playscape (toddlers) and one for the somewhat bigger kids (4-12). It has mulch on the ground, and is bordered with a cement lining to contain the mulch, is my guess. It's so thoughtful to find 1 special swing amongst 3 other plain swings, one that you can safely secure and have the child experience swinging also. Not one for the very littles, but one with a disability. I believe it says for 5-12 years old. Close to the smaller playscape is a xylophone, and we were pleased with a play by a random biker who stopped there to play. On Settlers Valley, I see people park their car along the road by the mailboxes. And there is a little path that leads to the playground, but then it ends there. You'll have to go around the grass, or cross the mulch in order to enter the trail that is in the back and goes around the neighborhood. I've biked that trail and it's a cute well-maintained trail. It's not our neighborhood, but I'm glad to find this close to home.

This is a public park in the Mountain Creek subdivision in Pflugerville. It consists of two covered…read moreplayscapes, swings, uncovered picnic tables, one grill, a fountain that works and a trail that links to Wuthridge Park. This is probably the only park where I have seen four musical instruments integrated into the playscape. I was surprised to find they have a very rich sound. The only thing lacking besides a pool, is the fact that there are no public bathrooms at either park or along the trail. Definitely a great spot to bring the kids or take a hike or bike ride.

Unsafe at the moment…read more There have been reports recently that I have heard of men hiding in the bathrooms, including the women's bathrooms. One recent report was that 3 men came out of the bathroom and was headed toward someone's daughter. Another mom called the police recently because men were recording the children at the splash pad, but they didn't have any kids of their own. The bathroom by the playground and splash pad has two directions you can exit.. to the left towards the splash pad or toward the right towards the side wooded area. Please don't let your children go in there alone and always check the bathroom first. Lakewood park, please hire security and heavily monitor the children's area.
