Since IKEA's sink options weren't suitable for our garbage disposal, we sourced our own, which was easy to incorporate into the design. The IKEA installers were absolutely top-notch. Professional, skilled, and attentive to detail. The finished kitchen looks and functions like a much more expensive custom kitchen. What I love about IKEA is the combination of smart design, endless organizational possibilities, and excellent value. Whether you're designing an entire kitchen or just trying to organize a drawer, there's always something worth discovering. Four stars for a store that continues to impress!. I was a little skeptical because I thought they had discontinued their fabric line a few years earlier. I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric selection is officially back! The only thing is that you no longer need to cut your own from a bolt; instead, they sell it in precut 3 meter length. The patterns and quality are just as awesome as they used to be, and it is really convenient if you're working on home textiles or quick craft projects. The only drawback to our visit was the timing. My only piece of advice is to ensure you do not arrive 30 minutes before the store closes. IKEA is simply too massive to navigate efficiently under a time crunch, and you will not have enough time to browse properly. Give yourself a solid window to shop!

Inside has many different things from bird feeders to nick knacks to pots and candles and many different types of plants. It's well set up and I witnessed staff answering customers questions and offering their assistance. Cost wise I would say everything is fairly priced and some of the plants are so unique that it's a given you need to pay for something like that. Staff I engaged with were nice. Service is something that people often overlook when they go shopping for things in their home. The Ace on Nicollet always has a ton of knowledgeable staff on hand and ready for your questions. They are also super friendly :) Here are some specifics of how awesome these guys are. I bought an underbed storage unit from Ikea that was too long to fit under my bed. I tried to hacksaw two ends of the unit to make it shorter and as with many DIY projects, I straight up ruined it, or so I thought. One of the guys at Ace was able to use their basement workshop to shorten it properly with a table saw and on top of that he drilled some new screw holes so I could reassemble the unit. I think the total was like 3 or 4 bucks. Another project I started today, I was making a DIY bike wall mount and they found all the perfect parts, Ian (one of the cool cats that works there) re-threaded a bike stem, provided suggestions for all the right mounting hardware and probably some other things I forgot. They could tell that I was passionate about this project and they seemed pretty interested in it themselves. Can't say it enough, these guys rock!

Bachman's is huge and has a large collection of plants and.gardening supplies. In many ways its size is a liability as it is difficult to find what you are looking for and often the staff are not knowledgeable. Wagner's on the other hand is smaller. They don't have as much stock but in general their staff are reasonably well Informed. Sunnyside Gardens is a nice compromise in size. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and their staff are accessible and seem knowledgeable. They are easy to reach and there is lots of nearby parking. I highly recommend.

I also bought two vintages designer lights and a couple pieces of glass labware to put cocktails in and put on the rolling cart to roll around the house (see above). I also bought a very cool looking gumball machine where you push down a little lever and a gumball comes out.** **I have put real gumballs and M&M peanuts in this thing and it has yet to spit out a gumball. It's pretty cool, though. OK, these guys have vintage cocktail glasses and shakers (do you see a problem here?) and more labware that I might buy. And a couple great vintage stands from a chemistry lab that has lots of clamps for test tubes. I'm trying to justify this one. My god!! They have two gigantic overhead light fixtures on rolling frames. If you live in one of those hoity-toity warehouses there is no excuse not to buy these. O, VINYL RECORDS YOU PEOPLE. SOUNDTRACK ALERT!! Endless Boogie was playing on their sound system. New favorite band. Ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump (Jaws) they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about noon on.
