Oasis had a line at the door when we pulled in for breakfast so we took that as a good sign. Since…read morethere were only two of us, we were seated right away. It was pretty loud indoors due to it being packed, so we kind of wished we could have grabbed a table outside; their patio area was adorable! Our server Karey was a superstar: friendly, attentive, very knowledgeable regarding the menu options. My mom said her eggs Benedict was the best she's had in quite some time. My sausage scrambler was loaded with sausage, mushrooms, peppers, cheese and green onions and it was very filling. My only gripe was when I looked at the receipt after we left and saw it cost $7.90 for two cups of coffee. And the coffee wasn't even in the realm of good, so they either need to up their coffee game or lower the price.

It was sweet enough on its own that it honestly didn't even need maple syrup- it felt like fall! I loved the crunch from the corn flakes it added such a great texture and made the dish stand out. I'm glad they didn't used sweetened corn flakes I think it would have been too sweet. The veggie omelette was also really good and gave the meal a nice balance between sweet and savory. Everything tasted fresh and filling without feeling too heavy. Loved how crispy the hash browns were fried to perfection! Atmosphere & Service: Loved the coffee, and the service kept moving even though the restaurant was really busy. Our food came out at a good pace, and the staff handled the crowd well. The coffee refill was a must after driving from Nashville overnight. Overall: Such a cute spot with that classic diner charm. Between the apple French toast, veggie omelette, good coffee, and friendly service, this was a great breakfast. Definitely a place I'd come back to! Id love to try other menu items for sure!

Stopped into Brick and Bourbon in Stillwater and immediately knew I made the right call sitting at…read morethe bar. The exposed stone walls and that huge wall of whiskey bottles behind the bar give the place a cozy, speakeasy kind of feel. I had to try their take on an Old Fashioned, and it did not disappoint. It came loaded with a giant orange peel and topped with a couple thick strips of crispy bacon and a piece of what I'm pretty sure was a bacon-waffle garnish - such a fun, over-the-top touch that actually worked with the drink instead of feeling gimmicky. The bourbon itself was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness, and the smoky bacon on top added a savory contrast that made it way more interesting than your typical Old Fashioned. The bartender clearly knew the menu well and was happy to chat through the whiskey selection, which made the whole experience feel personal rather than rushed. Great spot if you're looking for a laid-back bar with a serious cocktail program and a little bit of playful flair. Already looking forward to going back and working through the rest of their drink menu.

Heard there was a roof top and second floor that was nice, but we didn't wait for those. We were told it would be another 20-30 minutes. Our server was nice, knew about the menu, and had good suggestions. Would go back and try for better seating next time.

Dined from 7:30-8:30 on a Monday night. Plenty of available tables. Atmosphere was cozy and warm,…read moremusic was tastefully low. "Contemporary American" was the vibe, lights were low, lots of wood/black pipe. Staff was exceptionally attentive, including our server (terribly remiss to have forgotten her name, but she was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed sharing some conversation with her as well). Proper Smashburger (8/10). I got mine with the caramelized onions (how can one not?) and it was perfect. Great bun-to-meat ratio, bun was not overly starchy or dry. Lettuce was fresh, onions were bangin, and the garlic aioli tied it all together. Sweet vinegar pickles were a nice touch. Togarashu Fries (8/10). Fresh cut skinny fries topped with a spicy seasoning that sneaks up on you. Served w/ a yuzu miso mayo for dipping that gave it just enough tang and paired well w/ the spicy. Truffle Fries (10/10). Fresh cut skinny fries topped w/ fresh grated and some diced chives. Served w/ a garlic (?) aioli that was top notch. Absolutely fantastic side.

All were friendly and professional. Inside they had numerous tables and a couple of booths. The bar portion also seemed to be a good size. They had a few televisions throughout. They also have a touch tunes music player. The service was fast and accurate! The menu is a la carte. My sister, daughter and I all had burgers and fries while my wife ordered chicken wings. The burgers are made to order. On mine I had added bacon, cheese and an egg. It was delicious. The fries were also good. My sister and my daughter also liked their food. My wife really enjoyed her chicken wings. She told me that they were good and spicy. She also said, "it has been a while since I have had good wings." If you are in Stillwater Minnesota or visiting, I highly recommend stopping here!
