Great news! This Caribou location has two large conference rooms with white boards to rent out which is what my review will be about. NOTE: neither room has a projector nor monitor which is an important call out. With my work office permanently closing, I was in a pinch to locate something like this and was so glad to stumble across the Rice Street Caribou. To rent, you simply have to purchase $25 in coffee or beans which was very easy to do with the group I was hosting. The service to ensure everything was setup was seamless and all taken care of over the phone. I recommend buying the gift card in advance so that when your guests arrive, you can treat them (I went in person the day prior to my big meeting just to ensure everything was still set and it was nice to do in advance so that I could better understand the space). The parking lot is abundant and there are lots of large open windows with allow for great natural lighting. The bathrooms are very clean as well as the entire interior. I would totally book another meeting here again in the future! Thank you, Caribou!

As I sit here on this Memorial Day , I said to myself, "self, I'm glad these folks are working today. I had past 4 coffee shops and they were all closed." After that I further said " this is a nice Caribou. Very large, comfortable, nice - peppy workers, and a drive thru if I was in a hurry." The weather outside is beautiful, the coffee is yummy and no work today. I'm enjoying the day in honor of those who have sacrificed to keep us free. Thank you!

Big place, lots of room to get some work done. Even a few "private" rooms for discussion. Nothing negative from my end. Clean, friendly, spacious and decent coffee.

The crew here is a little slow cleaning the bathrooms. Those gals talk too much. How about pushing a mop more!

Pretty solid spot! I…read morelove how open it is here. It tends to be busy, so be ready for that! Lots of WFH folks and people catching up. I do enjoy that ambiance while working, but be prepared without headphones if that's not your vibe. I loved their matcha strawberry fields summer special, and grabbed a miel the second time. I really enjoy all the drinks I've had thus far, this little escape is perfect. You wouldn't think it's there with the mall being so nearby! Check this spot out for a little bit of peace, good working environment, and good drinks.

I got a Hug in a Mug, which was kind of a mocha with cinnamon, and it was very yummy; I'd get that again. I also got a bagel with cream cheese, which apparently originatese from St. Paul Bagelry, and this was also very nice. It seems like if all of these customers were to try cramming themselves into a normal-size cafe, it would be very loud and bustling. But since this is a big building, the vibes are a litte cozier even if there are lots of chatting people in there. I like it. They also have multiple tea options and some sandwiches, and even pizza, in addition to a normal baked goods case (apparently stocked by Patisserie 46 and Cardigan Donuts). They also have pottery prominently advertised, and although I didn't spot very much of that, what I did see looked really cute. I might consider one of those mugs to give as a gift some day, but I will for sure return for the coffee and to try some of their other offerings.

I've since removed myself due to how popular the shop got and recently had an opportunity to revisit. I'm so glad I did! What I once knew as a tiny, cozy shop has expanded into an entire new section directly behind the original space allowing for more guests to visit. This is fantastic! I know the original owners of Cafe Astoria have stepped down, yet I'm pleased to say under the new ownership that many of the original decor and items remain the same from awhile back. The biggest transformations are the larger space, added painted mural, flexible ordering system where you can now order from a QR code at your table or walk up the register, expanded menu that includes brunch all day and items such as breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. What went from a small crepe and specialty coffeehouse has truly grown. Don't worry the crepes and coffees are all still on the menu. I had the mango smoothie bowl and a mushroom and Swiss crepe - both were outstanding. I even had an iced pumpkin chia. Yum! I look forward to returning. The hospital workers are so lucky to be close to this establishment.

Wifi is good and some people WFH here, but it does get crowded fast on the weekends! The menu is expansive, but the crepes and drinks seem to be the main attractions. They have unique espresso and matcha options, including a secret menu and seasonal items. They do tend to be on the sweeter side. I always get the dirty matcha! My friend enjoyed the campfire mocha and creme brulee in the pasr. The crepes are pretty good - thin, but still soft as crepes should be! I also like the variety. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu here!

The Wild Bean Coffee shop shares a storefront and bathroom with 350 Degrees Bakery so I'd recommend hitting both up if you are in the area as a 2-for-1 adventure. The Wild Bean serves a small variety of breakfast and lunch items along with standard espresso drinks. Similar to many coffee shops, there are rotating seasonal specials. For my breakfast, I opted for the egg sandwich and added cheese, salsa, avocado and sausage. I picked sourdough as the bread. It was the perfect size and came toasted. My sister ordered a turkey panini and it was bigger than the breakfast sandwich and served with potato chips. Our service was extremely kind and considerate which aided to the interior charm. I adored the decorating, small gift shop towards the back, plants and exterior patio seating for warmer weather. For my drink, I ordered a hot chai tea latte and it was perfect. The storefront offers board games and complimentary water. I look forward to returning! Thank you!
