The music and ambiance was lovely, and the servers were amazingly attentive. The food was mouthwatering. We shared the Red Snapper and had the sauce on the side. Tried the tower as an app which had mixed fish, avocado, rice and sauces - this was great... which I felt meant the rolls would be promising. Sadly not - tried the crazy roll and spicy girl. Not spicy and nothing crazy about it LOL, I felt the tempura / crunch was stale.. my friend felt the roll was too salty. They also only had less salt soy sauce, I normally like regular soy sauce so I dunno if that also made a difference in my experience. Overall it's an okay sushi place, I wouldn't go back again but they do have great happy hours for those that want to give it a try!

It is definitely on a main corner if the area but somewhat in the cut as you do notice it immediately. The apps were good especially the quesadillas, I had a sangria and it was okay. This was like being at the loudest yet at least attended bar mitzvah ever! The music was blasting! The food was OK. The server, well, I don't know if she was new, but she didn't know very much. She brought me a cocktail menu, but didn't know what was in the cocktails. (she said she did when I asked, but then had to go ask someone probably because she didn't understand what I was asking because it was so loud.!) when I asked for a glass of water, she brought me a bottle. I told her that I meant I wanted a glass of tapwater and she said that they don't have that, they only have bottles. I asked if they charge for the bottles and she said no so I figured that was just the way they do it here. Imagine my surprise when there was a charge for the water on the Bill. The server spoke to the manager and got it taken off. The manager is the person who came over when it was time to pay, and I thanked her and explained what happened and she seemed very surprised that the server had told me there's no tapwater. Also, they build in an automatic 18% tip, which is a shame because I usually tip 20% but oh well.

"You won't want to cook anymore" he tells us a bit later. He's not wrong. I had the fish special, cod, served puttanesca, with mash potatoes and spinach. He had the rigatoni bolognese. Perfectly cooked pasta. "Everything is homemade," Angelo explained later. Smart and fairly well-priced wine list. We asked why the 2020 Carparzo Brunello di Montalcino was so low priced, and learned the wine has been priced the same since their father closed their Upper East Side location and the kids opened in Newark. "New York food at NJ prices," Angelo explained. "I've never had tiramisu I've liked better", husband told me. "I've never had flan Ive liked better" I told him. (It is coconut flan.) Great service.
