Unfortunately, I ordered a LIT, which was very weak. Fish and Chips had no flavor (not even salt), which was disappointing. Even their Shrimp Tacos was a little off. Service was not bad but could have been better, considering that pub was mostly empty when we visited but our orders took awhile to be delivered.

Came here after work with some coworkers for a quick drink and some light bites. It's also conveniently located near cultural and residential areas, making it a solid pre-game or pre-concert stop. They had happy hour going on, which is always a plus. Service was surprisingly attentive for a dive bar--we were hanging out in the back, and the staff still checked on us regularly, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was chill, exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood bar. I had a glass of Merlot, which was decent, though in hindsight, a draft beer probably would've been the better move for the setting. As for food, I got the wings--big, decent, and satisfying, though not the best I've ever had. Still, they did the job. Overall, Kill Kenny AleHouse is a solid local spot if you're looking for a relaxed, no-frills place to grab a drink and some bar food. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area and need a casual spot to unwind.

If New York Knicks' legendary PG &…read morelong time color commentator was announcing tonight's NBA Playoff game from the main bar at Michael's Roscommon House, that's exactly what he would say! In 26+ years of living in NJ, I had no idea there was a huge sports bar teeming with Knicks fans, & featuring hi def television screens mounted literally in every direction, including up! Add to this an oversized menu with too many delicious sounding food & drink options to decide on ... Following tonight's Knicks record setting, series clinching blowout vs. the upstart Atlanta Hawks, MRH became my #1 "go to" destination to drink & stuff my face, while binge-ing on the evening's "must watch" College & Pro sports events. In other words.. You gotta' check this place out!

Michael's Roscommon House in Belleville truly exceeded my expectations…read more Their French onion soup is easily one of the best I've had in New Jersey. The gratin was perfectly done, the broth was rich and flavorful, and everything tasted balanced and well executed. We started with a Tito's mule and a passion fruit margarita -- both refreshing and well made. The garlic and cheese Jersey wings with their house sauce were outstanding and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was incredibly creamy, generously cheesy, and finished with a golden crust that added great texture. The ribeye with spinach was cooked to the perfect temperature, and the blue cheese burger with bacon and onion rings had an amazing contrast between creamy and crispy. The mushroom pizza with extra cheese was another great choice. The menu offers Irish, Italian, and American options, so there's something for everyone. It's a family-friendly sports bar with a welcoming atmosphere -- perfect for watching your favorite team while enjoying great food. Highly recommend. We will absolutely return.
