There's only one reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5, and that's because it's not a sports bar. There are sports on the television, but it's all from broadcast and regular cable, nothing is from a satellite. I went there on a Sunday to watch the 1pm NFL games, and the only game on was the one being shown on local t.v. Fortunately, it was the game that I wanted to watch, so I stuck around and watched the 49er game. I ordered a Bitoque burger, which has ham, a fried egg, and of course the burger on what looked to be a brioche bun (or something like it.) It was delicious and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. There is also plenty of parking, with spaces in front of the bar and an overflow parking lot next door. read more

Hubby and I have been coming here for 16yrs or so. We've done lunch and late nights at the bar. Even though ownership and the overall vibe of the place has changed the food is still great! The server was really nice and made strong drinks. The location was pretty quiet but it was early Sunday. Lots of sports playing so a good spot if you're trying to watch at a low key spot. TERMINAL ONE IS TERMINAL NONE!! We got to this establishment at 10:51pm. We ordered our food, which was salmon, mashed potatoes and carrots, as well as garlic beard at 10:57pm. We literally got our food at 11:45. Mind you there were about 7 people who came in AFTER us and got all of their food, without any issues. Which included wings, sandwiches, soup and pasta. It wasn't busy at all in the establishment neither. Once we got the food the only thing that was hot was the salmon. Everything else was warm as if it was sitting on the plate waiting for the salmon the whole time. We asked the waiter for the Manager and the guy who owns the establishment (who is in the picture) came over. As we are talking to him and telling him how long it took for our food to come out and the fact that it wasn't even hot. He decides to argue with us back and forth about how the food is supposed to take long. And that the food was hot when it was brought out. And then proceeded to say how he wasn't going to do anything about it. Literally debating with us about how the food is made and so forth, instead of making the necessary accommodations and being polite. He then snatches our plates and water and told us to leave. The only reason this establishment is up and running still is because of us black people! That's the only business they get. And he decides to treat us like this?!! Yeah I promise you they will never see us again. Terrible choice for an owner. You know when your food is taking too long when other people around you start to notice as well. This was a lackluster experience. I've driven by this place several times and have heard a few positive things about the small locale, but my experience was far from that. Let's start with waiting staff. We couldn't tell who our waiter was because we had four different people ask us for drink orders several different times. This was especially frustrating because we wanted to order food but they seemed to only come around when our drinks were empty. On top of that, out of the four different people who tried to refill our drinks, 3 of the 4 were dry and kind of rude. Let's move onto food! Our food was ordered and we waited (the wait wasn't long, which was awesome...ish). When our food came to the table, we were missing some of our order and had to ask two separate times for some help to remedy this. Aside from that, our food was room temp to the touch!! I was so frustrated at this point that I just dealt with the temperature and ate. My tacos were dry and I asked for no onions but there were plenty of onions, and let me say this!! I don't mind when things like this happen because I can survive, it's really not a big deal to take them off or whatever I have to do, but when there's a plethora of issues, all the little things pile up and I just wasn't having it. Although I love their Chicken wings I don't know when if ever I ll go back. Placed an order on my lunch from Jersey City and was told 30min pick up. I gave them an additional 15 min arriving 45 min later to find out my order wasnt even placed. Waitress shows me the order receipt and tell me to wait while the cook gets it together. This place so far seems really mediocre we got our drinks 10 minutes after we ordered them especially on a non busy day today there is only three people in the restaurant.when the garlic bread came out it wasn't even hot. When the steak arrived was not good instead of it being soft it was hard crusted but it was medium well. Food and drinks are great here as well as prices. However there is 1 server/bartender there that probably shouldn't be there. Not sure of her nationality but appears to be Portuguese/Brazilian?? Doesnt serve with a smile or consistency. Just appeared to be miserable. Never came back around after we finished our 1st drinks. When leaving, we did ask another server/bartender her name which I believe was Mikayla. Now she came around a few times to our table to be sure everything was good and we had drinks. Food delicious drinks strong. Sangria pitcher reasonable. I went there on a Friday at around midnight. No strict dress code. No saggy pants and hats off upstairs. It's another rule but can't remember because I'm always over dressed when I go out. It was busy but not too crowded. They have a big menu selection with GOOD food. I like the atmosphere WAY more than The Lobby across the street. No cost at the door and the bartenders are nice in a New Jersey/New York busy but polite way. Sit at the bar for quicker service. This is my home away from home. I go here to relax, vent, catch up on the tea* and also to watch the games. Staff is very friendly and they make the BEST Sangria! The food is excellent - if you are a seafood lover this is the place to go. I always get the clams or the mussels and both are to die for!
