The Auto warehouse.. a shady business that targets vulnerable , less fortunate , under educated people with their false advertisement and lies. they say no credit check...LIE..only 500 down LIE... These people are a FRAUD!!! If i could give them -5 i would. Being a first time car buyer.. I found this place while researching on Google..reading all the good reviews i figured id found the perfect dealership. WRONG! (what you see online IS NOT WHAT YOU GET AT THE DEALERSHIP.) I bought the car from Javier. Who unlike other dealerships ( i know now) insisted on doing the financing approval FIRST before even deciding if i even liked a car on their lot !! Their signs say no credit check. THEY RAN MY CREDIT and only AFTER asked me to sign the waver. AFTER!. then telling me I ''Barely Got approved '' making it seem like he was doing me a huge favor .. making me feel forced to buy a car from them. I bought a 2005 pt cruiser for alot more that its worth (robbed blind). He assured me that if there were any problems with the car ,their mechanics would fix it. That if there were any problems with payments to call and they'd be flexible ect. He was very persistent in taking down my Gmail address and asked me to write a good review before i even finalized the sale..and on multiple occasions over the phone asked if i had left a good review. Now !!! i am writing my review.. and now i understand that their reviews are FAKE and MANIPULATED. The car had a Lowjack device that would shut the car off if payment wasn't made. At one point the device would randomly make beeping noises, i took it to the dealer and they said the device is perfectly fine. After a while the car would shut off in the middle of driving!! (scary and dangerous) . (all payments made). After contacting them again they wanted to charge me to take a look at the car and kept suggesting it was the alternator ect.. After 2 weeks of with this problem i took it to my mechanic and was told that the tracking device was shorting out the battery. I went back to the dealer and demanded it be taken out , after they gave us a hard time insisting we pay them to look at the car... they finally took it out and the car miraculously stopped shutting off. Iv'e never missed a payment..Ive been late 2 days at most...(weekend/ sunday's) . they've gotten all of their money every month...I'm on a bi weekly payment ... theyve called me at random times (some incompetent "josie" character) claiming a late payment when my payment wasn't due. When i call back to ask for my next payment date a man gives me the correct date!!!!! IN FACT, I WAS A MONTH AHEAD ON MY PAYMENTS for quite a while... so i had the option to skip a month to regulate it...And yet they were charging me late fees.. it seems like they like to add in late fees when ''they'' feel like it... if you don't address it. it will go un-noticed This place is a joke..their phone calls have become harassment..i got a new phone and number (in between payments..for other reasons) . Two days before my payment was due, they had already contacted my family members. (how embarrassing) they didn't even give me a chance to update my number. The payment office employees are rude and don't even look at you while taking your $$.. instead.. conversing with each other and staring at the comp screen. So here i am today. I have one month left with these people. I call to see if i can pay a partial payment this week as ill be paying off the rest of the balance by next payment.. simple question. right? I get transferred to the ''account manager''. she asks for my name /info. puts me on hold 2 times...and then answers the phone saying.. ''So you're gonna pay the whole amount now?'' . I ask the question again and without hesitation she rudely says '' No''. .and proceeds to tell me that i have bad account history. .when i challenge her statement she takes an argumentative tone . So after 36 months they've gotten their $ EVERY MONTH in full and i just got treated like a delinquent. Smh. After going back and forth...I paid the full amount and reassured... " so i just have next month and i'm done with you people'' she began to be a smart ass and i hung up the phone... i'm just glad i'm almost done with THE AUTO WAREHOUSE and will never do business with them again and will advise others not to as well. read more

Absolutely a fraudulent dealer! I seen a Craigslist add posted in the private seller section, which was a fantastic deal. I then come to find out its being sold at a dealer, no biggie right? WRONG! After I spoke with Frank (Francisco) to confirm several times that he has the car in stock, He seemed uncertain but assured me he had it and I could come anytime. Against my better judgment I went to check out the car anyways. I showed up at the dealer to frank being over the top friendly, sitting me down and trying to question my personal info from me. I then let him know i just want to see the car and im a cash buyer, Frank made a phone call over to his "other lot" to confirm the car is still there, and to my surprise (Sarcasm) the jeep was on a test drive. So i find the location of his south lot, and head there without him knowing. I enter and inquire about the 2005 jeep Cherokee listed online, Im sorry sir, we haven't had a Cherokee for quite some time, but let me see what other cars we have in stock". Wait? Are you serious? I just left Francisco, He stated the jeep was here! "Oh yes that jeep!" "well its on a test drive, And the buyer is already pre approved". I left the dealer obviously frustrated after being lied to, and lured into the lot as a buyer. A week later, the same exact jeep is listed online with the same sellers info. I call the manager at the south lot who then informed me he just posted the same picture since he has a shipment coming in and would call me with more info when it arrived. Guess what, It must have never arrived and I never received the call but the listing was still up. Needless to say I learned a lesson with these people, and I will never do business with them again! Zero stars if it was possible. Cars on thier website are bogus. Jennifer or Jocy, or whoever answers the phone will lie to you and say that the car is there when its not. The will ask you repeatedly, "cash or finance," because they want to make a quick buck. The sales person, Franco has no idea of his own inventory. Don't even bother with the sweathog jerkoff from the other location, he couldn't even pull his bulbous head up to look me in the eye. Liars, liars, liars. So I went here because I saw an 04 Honda Civic and an 06 Scion Tc. I spoke with a woman named Jennifer and she told me the car was there. They even sent me a "pre-approval" text message so that "My time wouldny be wasted." A few minutes later I was contacted by someone named Jossy (pronounced Joh see) and she confirmed the car was there. She even contacted me a few minutes later to tell me what trim level the car was, an 04 Honda Civic Ex Coupe. So I get there and of course, the car isn't there. Jennifer and Jossy are either too afraid to show their faces or don't care and the Salesperson, Franco seems to have no clue about his inventory. He tells me there is another 04 Civic sedan in their other lot, i'm not interested but I wanted to see the Scion. He guarantees me that both the 04 Civic sedan i'm not interested in and the 06 Scion Tc are there. I go over and the civic is there, missing the interior door trim and smelling of weed mind you, and no Scion Tc. I walk into the office on this lot and a fat sweaty man who didn't bother to get up, or look away from the porn on his computer began to ask me questions, I advised him of what cars I was interested in and without looking me, he said he didn't have a Scion TC, only a black xB. Not interested, walked out. While on the road, called Franco twice no answer. Called the sales office and was told he was with another customer. I pull up and he is smoking what looks and smells like a swisher sweet cigar while speaking to a someone outside. I ask him about the car and he semantics me and says he asked about a "Black Scion" as if to state that it was my fault for not being specific, when i specifically said 06 Scion TC. Save yourself the harassment, the headaches, the scamming and the lies. You're better off investing on buying a car from the streets than you are walking into this dealership. I wish someone had warned me about this place before I ever set foot on it. I should've trusted my gut feeling... I walked into this place and left with a Nissan Versa 2007. The Salesman should've just told me from the moment that I was interested in it that the car wasn't ready to be sold. He forgot to mention that the honk wasn't working, he forgot to mention it was a refurbished car, he forgot to mention it was basically a piece of crap car he was selling for $10,000. (which I started discovering once the muffler fell out a week later and I had it checked out by a mechanic who told me I had gotten a crap car). I should have just taken my down payment money to another dealer and walked out w/ a brand new car. ( which I ended up doing a few months later because this Nissan was just crap), I ended up having someone else take over the payments for that Nissan ( this person knew the conditions of it and took over anyway). I move out of state and the payments continue being made , I send checks 1600 miles across to Chicago yet they claim to not have received any payments and LIED TO ME saying they had sent letters to me and called my references... all which I talked to and they confirmed they never received any calls or voicemails about the situation. I have someone who checks my mail box in my residence in Illinois and not once was a letter from them included. Funny part is that they did indeed try sending a letter AFTER I had a conversation with their Rep Carlos about the situation. This " Carlos" character had the most outrageous attitude about the situation,raising his voice at me and being snotty when I asked him to tell me the names of the people he claims they called. He responded " don't you know who you listed? " in a very rude and loud tone. I told him there was no need for him to raise his voice at me and talk to me in that manner because I was asking a legitimate question- " who did you call, I need to verify whether they received the call or not". We're talking about MY credit here so of course I have EVERY RIGHT IN THE WORLD to ask as many questions as I want in regards to their so called " attempts to contact me" regarding the payment situation. I'm not surprised at all because since the beginning their customer service has been terrible. Like when I called about getting the honk fixed and their rep Cynthia was snotty and treated me as if I was some sort of freeloader taking advantage of them.if your payment is late 1 or two days because it was in the process of being sorted and distributed by the Post Office, you can guarantee that they will be calling you back to back all day..but of course when YOU as the customer needs to contact someone there, it's nearly impossible. MY SUGGESTION IS, DO YOUR RESEARCH, CHECK OUT VARIOUS CAR DEALERS AND AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COST. The same year I went to Autowarehouse, I went to another dealer and walked out with a 2016 Brand new Jeep and it was nowhere the hassle as getting a car at The Auto Warehouse-- for a used car in terrible conditions. AVOID IT. I don't know how they managed to get 4-5 star reviews because from what I've experienced and have heard from others, this place is anything but a 4/5 star dealer. If you still insist in getting a car here because it "may seem convenient to your pocket" take your own mechanic and have them check out whatever car you might walk out of there with. Prior to getting your credit ran, prior to selling your soul to the devil. Prior to being told that your car was repossessed because you were late on payments even though you have already paid the majority of the car and they claim 2 months of late payments & couldn't even contact you about those claims.... just to tell you that you have to pay for the towing of the car and the lot storage of the car. In may I bought a car from them. And first what I liked about them was that you test drive the car and the car is in fine condition. I mean when you go to get a used car from dealers, in most places when you test drive it -it is banging and ringing what makes it evident that it needs a lot of money to be fixed. Here- what ever I tried-was driving nice and smooth. So I got a Passat, we singed everything. I didn't have a credit history-so there was no problems for me-I just needed to bring a cosigner. I drove away and of course first what I did-brought it to body shop to check it completely. Unfortunately turned out that a car had a hidden defect with oil and in couple of years it would die completely for sure. I was really disappointed, but guess what-I brought the car back next day and they let me find another car!!!!with no problems. Fortunately they have a lot of nice cars usually and as far as I noticed-they go away really fast, cause the day I came back I was about to take the car I saw day before-it was already gone. Any way I found a nice car for not a bad price. was driving it with no problems for almost a year. And my story is not over yet. A month ago I got in the car accident and my insurance company really left me in a big trouble. I mean they started to lie to me like my car had body damages before accident which is not true, and they depreciate it till miserable amount of money. I was smacked. I didn't drive a car for a year even-imagine how much money did i still owe for the vehicle!! OMG!! Then I got a phone call from auto warehouse and they asked me to come over they office. when I did-they explained me how can I get at least twice more from insurance and guess what- the rest of the money that I supposed to pay them after insurance payment- they took 50% off!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE?!! THEY TOOK 50% OFF THE MONEY I STILL HAD TO PAY THEM-AND TRUST ME-IT WAS NOT 500-1000$ IT WAS WAY MORE!!!! This was not the first dealership I went to, but it most certainly was the last. The sales people here acted more like a resource than they did sales people. Raul was very helpful in helping me find the perfect first car for my kid. I needed something safe and in good condition. They delivered. Purchase a Buick Lucerne that the transmission went out on the first couple of weeks of having the car. Take the car as requested to millennium repair who installed not one but 2 bad transmissions in the car. Told them i wasnt happy wanted to change the vehicle and was told I can pick what I wanted. Which I didn't have a problem with after trying 5 different vehicles I finally found one I was comfortable with and was told that all the work on the car would be done. Took the car in and got it back worst than it was have been complaining about the car to Kevin in Waukegan and was told it would be taken care of and nothing was fixed! Horrible company and thieves. I came in with an employee of mine and was going to help him by purchasing a vehicle for him and his family after selecting a car we noticed several things that needed to be repaired and I asked would they fix them and how long due to the delay I requested to protect my self and wire the funds the manager refused and said it had to be CASH!!! So that threw up red flags I said how about I leave a deposit and come bac Monday when the car is fixed. I said if I find anything I am unhappy with the deposit is refundable they agreed and gave me a a receipt. After returning home and doing my due diligence I discoverd many negative things and also a far better deal that was newer less miles and no repairs. I went back the next day was extremely nice and asked for my refund. They say they don't have the cash I have to wait 4 days for a check. I say that is not fair I want my money back the New manager says no you have to take a check we don't have cash. He then says since the car was for my staff that he "which means has to miss work" has to come get the check cause the deal was going from him. I become Irate and demand my money back. they call the police now they stole the deposit. And now have to have legal fees to take them to small claims. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would this is by far the worst place to get a car from I have been trying to get my title from them they said I owe a balance I said ok I'm willing to pay that right now. Then I tell them I've moved out of state so would they mind just mailing it here that's when the problem came... they told me i needed to send a email asking to have it sent here which i did then they claim it was a gps on the car that they needed back I offered to just pay for it because I really needed my title they said it's 100 dollars I was ok with that because I really wanted my title next thing I know the manager randomly tells me I can't make a payment using my card it has to be a cashiers check mailed to them that obviously could get lost in the mail so i was very upset with that option and also confused as to why the sudden change she couldn't explain it to me just that it's policy so I'm like well if i have to mail the check I'll just mail the gps unit.. i took my car to a mechanic to remove the gps but he said there isn't one so I called back the guy was like I can take the payment and we can send you the title I was like ok cool so I make the payment that I was told to pay and after I asked could it be sent to my out of state address he said yes placed me on hold then came back and said they said i have to revise your payment I'm not sure what the deal is but it's looking like I'll never get the title for an unknown reason I'm welling to pay but my money is no good read more

Great Marketing - Great Business Concept - Not So Great Ethics! I think there concept is great in theory. Your Job is your credit, drive today with as litte as $500 down...This is Awesome. I even called and went to their dealership, they seemed to have a well trained staff, and even seemed polite. I like their advertising and marketing...Tons of signs in their office offering $100 for a referral. Here is my big BUT.... They are continuing to advertise cars they don't have in stock. I see the same ads on Craigslist. At the time I was in the market for an Lexus ES300. They would remember me, if they read this review. I didn't mind paying a little bit more for the car if they were able to finance the car, rather than me using my cash. My credit has taken a hit during the downturn. On Craigslist they had 5 ES300 Lexus' posted, and the same identical ones are on their website. Then I went into the dealership, and they tell me they sold 3 of them. 1 was on a 24 hr test drive, and the other one was out for detailing. OK, so that sounded odd, but let me give them the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say I continued shopping for my ES300 Lexus, and finally paid for it CASH at another dealership! I spent about $4,700, for my 98 Lexus ES300. They advertised similar cars with financing for $5,999-$6,999, and I have no problem with this, they should make a good proft for taking the risk of financing people with bad credit. My problem is I went in there 3- weeks ago...they said they sold out of the Lexus ES300 cars they had...My question is this..."Why are they still advertising those vehicles in stock on their website... Not only that but they still have them listed on craigslist. Now if you know anything about craigslist, then you know your ad gets deleted after 2 weeks. And on Craigslist if you want your ad at the top, you must repost the ad. And they are continuing to repost ads of cars they don't even have in stock. This is not very honest- IT IS DISHONEST! And I mver mad because they also deal with a segment of the public that is most likely already the target of scams... people that have bad credit and people that don't speak english. None of their ads are in English... Ads like this: "SU TRABAJO ES SU CREDITO" "CREDITO FACIL" They prominently post their ads in spanish...Apparently they don't like people that speak english. I want to know how you spell "Crooked" in Spanish- that should be what they advertise. Maybe they're affraid of being reported to the Attorney General. Don't worry I pretty sure they are already being investigated. I hope they get their act in order, I really do. Car Dealers already have such a bad reputation. So if you're looking for a great car, please spend your time- do your research, and remember don't fall prey to Great Marketing---or else you'll be the next person writing a bd review of the Auto Warehouse on Yelp! read more

By far the absolute worst place to do business with. So unbelievable unprofessional. I bought a car and a month later I had to get it fixed which cost another fifteen hundred dollars. I dropped off my car with money in my dash, I always keep money in my car in case of an emergency. Picked up my car and the money was gone. Not only this, but I was late on a payment by less than 10 hours and they LOCKED my car on me while I was still out running errands. So before I could even make it home, I had to deal with a car that would not start back up. I can't wait to pay off my car so that I never have to deal with these people again. The owner pretends he is manager to costumers to avoid dealing with situations that he does not want too. All of the male staff have very rude tones and speak over costumers. To be fair, this has never happened with me because I will not allow it, but I've witnessed this happen in front of my eyes. Watch out. I went to look at a used car they were selling and the salesman said that it was in great condition, only 122,000 miles on it. But according to Carfax, the car had 135,000 at the last emission test -- over 2 years ago. A friend said she had the same issue with this particular dealer. This place stinks I bought a 2008 chevy trailblazer and when I bought it they said it was looked at by a mechanic and it was great the first thing that went was the wheel bearings on the front then we had big freeze and the raditor froze up it was partly both of our faults but when mechanic looked at it he should have seen that it was filled with water and fixed it 550 out the window and asked if they could push back the payment but refused partly there fault bull crap I say so Im giving them bad reviews every where read more

As stated in my previous post I was extremely grateful for Autowarehouse working with me to get my life back on track I was Sold a 2010 Chevy HHR 7/29/17.. It was over priced but I didn't care I was still thankful as I badly needed a car to get to and from school and work. I noticed a drag to acceleration on the first day it was purchased however I thought it was just a slower car. Here we are today and my car is sitting in the Chevy Dealership for the last 4 days needing 2000$ worth of work the Timing chain is busted as well as the camshaft and it has faulty wiring.. Chevy says the timing chain as been bad for a while, which now explains the drag I felt the day of purchase. It has a four year recall on it the ignition switch that was never taken care of. I called Autowarehouse to explain the engine problems I was hung up on twice and was basically told to deal with it. They sold me a LEMON and now i feel like i was taken advantage of. You all shouldn't do people like that we come to you to get ahead and you just kick us further down. I was told repeatedly by Manuel that its a used car. Im not incoherent I understand that, but to have a whole engine break down in 5 months is bullshit I highly praised this dealership and referred people because I felt they really wanted to help people. AVOID THIS PLACE! I have had the worst experience ever with this dealership. They have very poor customer service and will sell you a car with a lot of problems. I purchased a 2011 Ford Escape from them. It was working good while I test drove it. Once I left the dealership and drove it home is when I started to hear noises and the check engine light came on. I called the dealership and the salesman Andy said that he would return my call after complained that I was unhappy with the vehicle and that there were problems. The salesman never returned my call even though I kept calling but never got an answer. So I drove up there and they sent me down the street to there other location with a repair shop. They never fixed the issue with my car and the a/c does not work. I have had this car for a few months and the transmission is messing up and this has been the issue from the beginning. They knew that this truck had an issue with the transmission....that is why a previous buyer returned it. They have given me a hard time since Ii left the dealership, so everytime it is time to make a payment I have given them a hard time but I refuse to continue to pay for some bullshit. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. My girlfriend and I bought a 2005 Nissan with less than 100,000 miles on it for a decent price thinking that we got a reasonable deal. Within a couple of months of driving the car a rattling started and the oil light came on. We took the car to a local mechanic who thought there might be an oil leak. We spent over $1,000 in repairs (because the car's warranty was a measly 30 days) to have the oil line fixed only to have the same issue within the next few weeks. When we took it back to the repair shop they informed us that the engine is burning oil and the entire engine needs to be replaced. The mechanic also mentioned that many times shady car dealerships (much like this place) will put a thicker oil into the bad engine before selling it and that it will last just long enough to carry the car out of warranty - so don't be fooled by a smooth test ride. After going back and forth with this place we took the car into a Nissan dealership who seconded the mechanics opinion SAYING THAT WE NEEDED A NEW ENGINE AFTER HAVING THE CAR FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. We have been doing what we can to make sure the oil levels stay up, however, the car has had even more issues that don't even seem to be related to the engine or oil. A month or two ago we decided (reluctantly) to drive it to Nashville because it seems to be a specific issue that we were address. However, it died on the highway from what we were told was a bad catalytic converter. Another +$1,000 dollars later and we have the car back and running. Just last week I was driving the car in rush hour traffic and it just died again. Was looking at a civic on their website that they claimed had 115,411 miles but Carfax said that at its last reading it was at 145,344, they obviously have a history of rolling back odometer after looking at the other reviews of them. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone! Sales people will not explain anything well So be truly careful! The customer service rep are the worst they keep you on hold for a while then disconnect your call. Honestly they are nothing, but a scam and there cars need high maintenance work! very poor experience my car is fully covered ;Yet 2 months after them giving me my car the engine ceased up so I called them the first time and a woman hung up on me, the second time I called I asked to speak to whoever was in charge or could get an email a number or something they failed to do so when I have legal rights to speak to whom ever is in charge of fixing my car .The 3rd time I went up there and even though my car is fully covered they want me to pay half which I refuse because I pay my note on time insurance and everything I will be taking them to court and sending papers unless they fix this issue my car has been on there lot for 2 1/2 weeks I am losing money out of my pocket I have kids .The customer service is bad all together. read more

I set an appointment the day before. They forgot my appointment and didn't have anything together. They didn't have any of the cars they claimed to have. They had very few cars on the lot. They pulled the bait and switch on me. I wasted $60 in cab rides to get there. When they tried to show me a 'similar' car, all of the sudden another 'customer' was interested and was going to take a ride in it. These guys suck. Like I'm going to fall for that one? I'm pretty sure they didn't even own the second car they showed me, because they stalled me for forty minutes at the 2622 N Cicero Avenue lot and it sounded like they were scrambling to find a car I would like over the phone with another car lot. They were just going to try to flip me a car that wasn't the car I wanted and play games with me about some other 'customer' being interested in an attempt to make me anxious. I went in to this place thinking that it could help me to find a reliable car to get to and from work. I told the sales guy that I needed a reliable car because I have two small boys. Well they told me to come back after 90 days at my job. I returned on 7/15 and and I had the deposit they asked for. They talked to me about my credit and that I needed a larger deposit. I was confused because that is not what the ads state, I obviously don't have perfect credit because I am there to purchase a car. If my credit was spotless wouldn't I go somewhere else or already have a car? After a few hours they told me they could work with me and I could look at cars. Enrique showed me like 3 cars that were in pretty interesting shape and one car that was manual and I couldn't drive. I asked if I could see different cars that were on the lot and he told me that if I wanted to see nicer cars I needed to make a bigger deposit. After further discussion Enrique told me that if I made a $1000 deposit in the next two weeks in addition to what I was already putting down I could see more cars. I did the math and agreed. Well I still didn't get to see any of the cars I wanted. Every time I pointed to a car he told me that I would need an even bigger deposit. He showed us a white Nissan Altima. I took it for a test drive and stepped on the gas and the car started to shake. The check engine light came on and I was freaking out. Something like that had never happened to me. I drove back and I told Enrique, his response was "It's probably a fuse we can fix it since all of the cars are under warranty." I told him I didn't want that car. He showed me a Lexus RX300. I test drove it and it seemed fine. At this point I have been there for about 3 hours. So I said that was it and they let us take the car with the assumption I would pay $1000 in two weeks time. Three days after having the truck the check engine light came on. I took it in and they told me I had to make an appointment. Since I work I had to wait until the end of the week to drop it off and be without a car. They told me a hose had broken, but it was fixed now. A couple of days later at Target as I was putting bags in the back of the truck, one of the rods that holds up the trunk door snaps off because of the rust and falls on me. Thankfully on my back and not on my head. l was furious and really disappointed in the car and the people who thought it was okay to sell me this car. Yesterday the car started to grind as I turned left. I took it in to a mechanic because I needed to know if it was safe to drive, the mechanic tells me the timing belt is loose and needs to be replaced that is why the car whistles when it is turned on. He asked me when was the last time the rotors and the brake pads were replaced because they needed to be replaced and possibly the tire rod. I have only had the car for about two weeks. I asked for a reliable car that I could drive to and from work and I could have my kids in. I got a car that isn't worth the money they are asking for. And I know that Auto Warehouse will offer to fix it BUT why should a car that I just purchased that you want over $10,000 for and a $1,500 deposit need that much work? Why would you feel okay with selling someone a car for that much money and know that the car is not reliable? Shouldn't the cars be in the best condition so that this doesn't happen? On top of that my contract is dated incorrectly. This has been a nightmare. read more

I want to start by saying, that I have challenged credit. So after researching car dealerships that assist people with less than perfect credit, I found Auto Warehouse. I was so excited to visit this place! I called to inquire over the phone. To my surprise I was bounced around. Finally, I looked on Craigslist and saw a number to text. The gentlemen that I texted (David) was extremely helpful. So, after texting him and getting my general questions answered finally, my siste rin law and I took the trip there(1 hour from my home). When we arrived I asked for David. We then sat by David. Minutes after sitting with David, my then salesperson Raul, practically forced us to his desk because he claims he had called me and had me on his "list". Well, I did not like this because I never really got to speak with anyone up until I texted David. Due to his promptness, this is who I preferred to work with. After my experience, I wish i had worked with David. First off, Raul...was very rude, cocky and pushy. This dude was off on his phone taking other calls, in the hall on his phone. It was just horrible. Then I expected to have a nice down payment required due to my credit, but he wanted me to put $700 down that day and another $500 in 2 weeks! And he only offered and showed me one car!! He basically acted as if that car and Auto Warehouse was my only option! I had no problem putting down a bigger deposit, but for what i wanted , NOT for what he wanted to give me. He acted as if he couldnt tell us the price of the vehicle upfront. He was rude to my sister in law because she told him she finances cars all the time and didnt understand why he couldnt tell us the prices. Then before we left he said he was trying to help me because that day was his last day to make his quota! Really?! So rude and unprofessional! He was more concerned with making his goal and putting me in bs than actually helping me. Bottom line, I left there without a vehicle and a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely work with David or anyone else if I were ever in life to return! People beware. It is not worth an extremely high car note just so someone like Raul can make his quota on your dime. read more

i would never again buy a car from the auto warehouse. we bought a new used car 3 weeks ago. called back the next day with some issues. scheduled an appt. they had it for a whole day, and i dont believe they did a thing. about 10 days later, the thing we told thing needed fixing broke. they have had our car for 7 days. they wont answer our replies. they still dont have the part needed. they leave us on hold for hours. (yes hours, i actually left the phone to see how long they would leave it and i shut it off finally at 2 hours and 10 minutes). i have reported them to the BBB. they are not a ethical company read more
