Spider webs and dirt under the sink
Justina H.

If you want to wait all day for them to check your weight, eyes and draw a single tube of blood then this is the perfect place to go to waste your day away! There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and few people that came in after we checked in who were all pulled in before us. The lady at the front also clearly has no desire to be here (not that I blame her). I had also thought after checking the eyes, blood pressure, glucose and taking a tube of blood that we would be done. Nope. We were told to wait in the room with no explanation as to why and we have been sitting here for approximately 15 minutes now. We got here a little before 12:25 and still no sign of leaving! The sink in the room also does not work (no running water) and under the sink is absolutely disgusting. The only positive is that the doctor was nice (the only reason I gave two stars instead of one).

Waiting room.

This CareNow is the closest to home and they are doing a fantastic job with patients cares. My experience had always been the same, both front desk staff and nurses were very friendly and helpful; also the PA's and Dr's are on point with their diagnosis because of my personal experiences with some other urgent care facilities. There's always a hot coffee and variety of tea bags in the waiting room. Waiting rooms are clean as usual. Waiting time is short if you check in online before going in after they have notified you to come in. I stop rushing in after a bad experience during a rush hour which was after school period. I work in acute care hospital and do understood what they go through every day. There's always someone that you can't please no matter what you do. Overall, great urgent experience with excellent Doctors, NP/PA.

Wait room smells EXTREMELY unsanitary.

The receptionist told me that I could do an online check-in and they would call me when the doctor would be ready to see me.

My palms were pretty wrecked once I got home and tried washing up. After popping a bunch of Advil to try and blast the inflammation I still couldn't walk. My mom said I'd better go get an X-ray so I figured it couldn't hurt. I was able to make an appointment at Texas Breeze which was helpful and allowed me time to figure out how I'd drive here and get checked out. X-rays came back fine and they washed me up again with a bit of antiseptic. I got bandaged up like some low budget Rocky Balboa before a match but had to remove this before leaving because it was really painful and restrictive which would pose even more difficulty to me driving myself here. All in all it, they were helpful in terms of providing some peace of mind with the X-ray results but didn't do much else that I hadn't already done at home. The PA ordered an antibiotic for me since I have a bunch of missing flesh. I felt grateful to have that order in, just in case. The last thing I'd need is some sort of infection due to these wounds. If you need an urgent care with seemingly better hours than others nearby and the capability to schedule an appointment this center has that. My co pay was $75 which I didn't love but they had the ability to do X-rays on site which was my top priority (or my mother's). Seeing as though I'm here solo, I wanted to ensure I was fine enough and taking proper care of the situation. The staff were helpful enough.

We weren't familiar with this Frisco facility but it was New Years Day and it was open, thank God! Our wait time was minimal and the facility seemed new and very clean....and the Staff (Receptionist, PA Dani, and our doctor all handled everything so professionally, we were impressed and are now, 4 days later 100% healthy and happy. Dr. Chimanji is the lead doctor at N R Urgent Care, and I highly recommend him…read more I have visited Dr. Chimanji twice over the years, once several years ago and once a few months ago. I had a minor skin irritation a few months ago, and I trust Dr. Chimanji's diagnostic ability enough that I drove some distance to see him. Sure enough, he immediately diagnosed the issue as being due to a change in the formulation of my laundry detergent. He suggested I try a new laundry detergent, and that fixed the skin irritation issue. Most impressive is that he did all this without an array of tests. He simply did a proper examination, asked me some questions, and came up with the diagnosis and solution.

The doctor was also working behind the front desk and insisted over the phone when I called that I…read morewould have to pay in advance even though I live and work in town and have insurance. OK. Some doctors dont accept insurance and my deductible is high anyway so... I paid by CC - $175. A couple weeks after my visit I receive a bill via mail stating I have not paid and must pay $175. I went in person to the doctor's office and indicated that I had already paid and showed the receipt he gave me. He acknowledged I already paid and said he would talk to the billing department. Should be done right? Now, weeks later, i receive another notice that I have not paid and need to pay. I am not paying you twice dude. It doesn't work that way. I want to point out too that the address on the letter I received with the medical bill is hand written. Draw your own conclusions.
