Worst medical experience I ever had. I went there on Thursday and was diagnosed with sinus infection and throat infection. They said I needed to do a blood test and they would call me the next day with the results. I called the next day and was told someone would call me back with the results. No one called. So I called again today at 9 am and was told someone will let me know the results soon. I called again at 2 pm and was put on hold for 45 minutes. I drove to their location again and was told my white blood levels were elevated by 3 points. I was told I would have to check back in so another doctor can evaluate me. No thank you. I already paid for one visit, was disrespected for two days begging for someone to tell me my blood test results. I will never go back to them. I didn't expect to wait 2 and a half times my quoted wait time while remaining 1st on the list and seeing other patients be called before me. If you want to wait all day for them to check your weight, eyes and draw a single tube of blood then this is the perfect place to go to waste your day away! There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and few people that came in after we checked in who were all pulled in before us. The lady at the front also clearly has no desire to be here (not that I blame her). I had also thought after checking the eyes, blood pressure, glucose and taking a tube of blood that we would be done. Nope. We were told to wait in the room with no explanation as to why and we have been sitting here for approximately 15 minutes now. We got here a little before 12:25 and still no sign of leaving! The sink in the room also does not work (no running water) and under the sink is absolutely disgusting. This CareNow is the closest to home and they are doing a fantastic job with patients cares. My experience had always been the same, both front desk staff and nurses were very friendly and helpful; also the PA's and Dr's are on point with their diagnosis because of my personal experiences with some other urgent care facilities. There's always a hot coffee and variety of tea bags in the waiting room. Waiting rooms are clean as usual. Waiting time is short if you check in online before going in after they have notified you to come in. I stop rushing in after a bad experience during a rush hour which was after school period. I work in acute care hospital and do understood what they go through every day. There's always someone that you can't please no matter what you do. Went there for my mum who has travel insurance and was told by the doctor that if the cough does not improve after 5days call in for a refill. i did that and was told that the doctor who treated your mum is not in and will be back on Tuesday 4days after my call !!!! and only he can make a refill request and we will call, it was never done. 2. They charge you a min $50 for UnitedHealth Care even when i told them that insurance person on call with me is saying tell them its a $15 co-pay. the lady at the counter said it not and we will refund if we charge more. I called their call center today for a refund of the excess amount they flat out refused, i have in my possession a letter from my mum's travel insurance that my CO-PAY is $15 only for her visit. 3. Went there for my wife as well, sorry yes i made that mistake paid $189 for her co-pay and told that we have a confirmed strep case in our house - the doctor refused to give any meds for strep to my wife as "her" test was negative and did not want to test for FLU even though my wife was wheezing and unable to sit feeling tired and weak. I couldn't be more irritated with this clinic. My wife went in for x-rays after a car accident yesterday (9/28) and the NP told her that she had a broken hand and needed to see an orthopedic specialist ASAP. But since apparently this same NP did not write the word "stat" on the referral orders we needed, this bureaucratic establishment will not send the referral to the orthopedic specialist for two-three business days even though we've talked to them multiple times and explained the situation. Since today is Friday that means the earliest she could be seen is the middle of next week! Medical professionals are not idiots and should obviously be aware that "asap" and "stat" mean the same thing, and now my wife's care will be postponed because of this nonsense. This is ridiculous and CareNow should be ashamed. The staff who are refusing to expedite the referrals are demonstrating a callousness that is totally unbecoming of any medical personnel. This place has poor inventory control. We arrived a bit after 9:00 to get a covid test so my daughter can have a procedure on Monday. After about 10 minutes we were taken to a room. We explained what we needed and they said no problem it will be quick. After 20 minutes I finally walked out and found a nurse. I could tell she was frustrated and said to me "I promise we're trying to figure it out." Huh? Figure what out? That's when they told me they didn't have the tests in stock. Took gf to get her ankle checked out because of swelling, the doctor, Hernandez I think the doctor's name was, barely even glanced at her foot and was telling her how he's seen worse from others. No x-Rays, or any prescription to help with the pain. Told her to go get an ultrasound to check for blood clots and that's it. Went to an orthopedic the next day, turns out she needs a walking boot and has an issue with the tendon that's there, which would of been seen if they did an X-Ray. My regular doctor was booked solid today(kind of last minute on my part), so I did the web check in through CareNow. They called me right away and told me that it's about 3 hours wait, so they will make contact when they're ready for me. They called right before the 3 hours mark and when I got there in 5 minutes. I didn't have to wait for long. I was able to see the provider, they called in the meds at the pharmacy, paid the co-pay and I was done. The doctor was very friendly and prompt on diagnoses. I made an appointment online to see a doctor here. On the confirmation page it says someone will call you shortly to confirm your insurance information. I never got a call about my appointment time or about confirming my insurance information. I scheduled an appointment at a different location because I figured this one never received my info. An hour and a half after I made the appointment at the first place I finally got a call. They said a doctor could see me in about two hours. I asked why the long wait. The woman said they have only one doctor coming in today and he doesn't arrive till 1pm. Why in the world are you taking appointments or even open if there is no doctor available?? Never making an appointment here again. Not that it'll matter, no one will see me at a decent time or they won't bother to call me back. read more

I took my daughter, Rachel, to the Plano, TX clinic Tuesday before ladt. She made an appointment for flu / Covid symptoms. We arrived and were checked out and told that they did not have any covid tests but had flu tests. She tested negative for flu. They told us that we could go buy a covid test and take the test ourselves. I asked if they could treat us and they said no because they didn't administer the test. I asked why didn't they tell us they were out of covid tests when they saw her symptoms at the time she requested an appt. The Dr. said that the "powers that be" do not allow us to give that information out. We found another CareNow, 9 miles away, that had covid tests. Drove over there and tested positive for covid. Rachel felt HORRIBLE this entire time. I am still angry about the unethical way we were treated resulting in the extended time that it took to diagnose Rachel and get her treatment started and the additional mileage and time it took. My wife suffered burns on her hand on a Sunday and we visited this facility around 4:00 in the evening. She was seen immediately and the doctors treated her burns well. We visited the next day to get the bandage changed and we were charged again and we thought it to be normal and paid. The doctor saw the wound and explained the do's and don'ts and told us what to expect. He also prescribed an antibiotic for faster healing. My wife was traveling on Sunday next so we decided to show the wound to the doctor and get advice. The doctor attended us and gave us good advice. When we were checking out we were told that there was no charge as the follow-up for burns is free. We were a bit surprised but were in a hurry so did not follow-up on the conversation. I intended to go back and discuss that we were charged on two visits but missed doing it. I was surprised - pleasantly - when we received a refund from CareOne for one of the visits. Wow! It's a shame that this facility with a quality location could be so mismanaged by the front desk staff. I came in for a toradol shot and was greeted by a friendly individual that did my intake. She was sick and unfortunately wiping her nose and touching the clip boards, pens etc. However, she was kind and informative. I was told The wait time would be 45 minutes. She checked with the nurse to ensure the medication was present and said it would be a doctors visit charge. There were four people in the waiting room. After waiting one hour I was approached by a rude individual by the name of Isabel. The person proceeded to let me know that the total wait time would be an additional hour. There had not been anybody new come into the waiting room, so I asked if something had changed since my intake. She said no, It's just going be an hour and 45 minutes. She did state that if I wanted to leave and come back, I could, and that she would call me. After waiting an additional hour and 15 minutes with no return phone call... I returned to the clinic. She scoffed, oh you decided to come back. Stated that so you would let them know that I had returned. Quite frankly, it was frustrating because she never called me to return and now the four original people in the waiting room are gone and there are two new individuals. This representative, does not represent this clinic well. The lack of leadership, lack of good communication and follow through is disturbing. She has a chip on your shoulder and doesn't understand customer service or care. She spoke with the other patients differently than myself. I felt like I have been discriminated against and I do not throw that word around lightly. She has rolled her eyes, responded abruptly and is chatty Cathy with the other person at the desk. I'm still sitting here in the waiting room and it has now been 2.75 hours. There is one other person here. I have just heard a conversation with someone on the phone and she quoted a half-hour wait time. There is a common thread with the poor reviews. It's either really good or really bad. The poor experiences can absolutely be improved. I'm sure if this employee is questioned there will be excuse after excuse. I'm sure she will not accept responsibility for her actions. I just listened to her field another call where she was very short and hung up abruptly without saying goodbye, thank you have a good day. She needs manner/etiquette classes 101. We are talking the very basics. I am now in a room after two hours and 55 minutes. Brittni the nurse is precious. I'm sure the doctor will be great as well. I am a positive person and see the half glass full. Today, this location is a mixed bag. I'm in pain, but this was not an emergency. However, there's a lot of work to be done at the front desk. Came in at the start of Labor Day weekend because I cut my finger pretty bad requiring 7 stitches. I was pretty freaked out over the experience, but Dr. Lorenzo and the nurses took good care of me. Stitches are out as of today, and my finger is reattached and healing nicely thanks to Dr Lorenzo and his team. Super appreciative! The only feedback I have is in reference to the in between follow ups. I had to go back every couple of days to ensure it wasnt infected but each visit was about 2-3 hours wait with a web check in, and I was only seen for about 10-15 mins. I appreciate how they were being cautious but surely there is a more efficient way for these checks so I'm not taking away from actual patients. read more

They cleaned my ears out quick and efficiently with very minimal pain. My primary reason for going was issues with tinnitus and they reduced my tinnitus by about 75% (rough number). Not only did they treat my issue but Dr Bora also recommend over the counter brands I can use to take care of my excessive wax build up on my own. I've had my ears cleaned out at different urgent cares over 5 different times and not one person recommended anything I could do on my own to help with my issue. While most were hours behind, this CareNow was able to contact me immediately and let me know the wait was an hour. I was panicked, needing strep and covid tests and they accommodated me. Every person I spoke with was kind and professional. The lady at the front desk was swamped with phone calls but remained friendly through every call, even though I could tell she was being asked the same questions over and over again. The ability to do a web check in is great. I was given a call as to what time to be there so there was very little sitting around time in the waiting room. The doctor, nurses, lab technician and front staff were wonderful and very thorough. Having an X-ray facility and the ability to run some lab work on the premises makes an enormous difference - it's a "one stop shop" and saves a lot of time. They also called in my prescription to my Pharmacy which saved me an unnecessary trip. Some Urgent Care charges are a nightmare. At CareNow, they took my Insurance.
