this place is horrid. i checked in around 10:30 online this morning and it is currently 1:00 in the afternoon. the front desk lady is incredibly rude and disrespectful. when we arrived at this location after being told it should only be an hour due to only 5 people being ahead of me, we sat in the waiting room as other people got called in. this wasn't what upset me in the beginning but after a while of being repeatedly skipped over it was getting frustrating. my mom and i were talking about the wait time and the lady decided to take it into her own hands to talk to us across the room to explain some bs excuse on why it has taken so long. her reasoning made zero sense and her tone was rude and disrespectful. if possible, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! this is not a welcoming place and not somewhere you'd like to be treated. read more

This review is only for Victoria as for the rest of the staff is phenomenal. I called at 8am this morning to attempt to receive my results as it has been 12 days and have not heard a word. Expecting for them to be busy, I had no problem waiting, but Victoria literally answered the phone so quickly (didn't even allow for me to say a word) and put me on hold for at least 5 minutes. She then answered and finally allowed for me to speak telling her that I was just calling to receive my CV19 test results from the 2nd and she cut me off again by saying "blah blah diagnostics". Mind you, this is the second time she put me on hold and gave her the benefit of the doubt but boy I was wrong. 17 minutes had passed and I finally decided to hop in my car and drive down, expecting the place to be a mad house. NOPE. There were a total of 4 people tops inside. This, folks, is how the most inefficient of people work. I told her to look at my phone and notice that the 27 minutes was how long I have been waiting for her. She asked me for my ID, steamrolled through some papers and then get this, had the nerve to tell me that it takes 11-13 days to get test results back. With 4 people in-house and me waiting on the phone, that was her answer?! She could've easily said this to me on the phone but nope, I guess some of us ie her aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. She needs a little basic training in "triage" because the rest of the Care Now staff is AWESOME. UPDATE 28JUL2020: I just got off the phone with Genevieve and couldn't have been more impressed with her candor. Like I said in the first review, I have had nothing but great experiences in the past, except for this time. I need to compassionate to others, especially to those who are in allied health because ultimately they are the ones who are putting everything on the line and I can only imagine the stress and workload they're experiencing. Terrible customer service. But it's no wonder why. Jamie appears to have some authority (at least she acted like she did), but has THE worst attitude. She was not helping check people in. She was barking orders at the girl that was. I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait a bit. I had an opportunity to listen to Jamie over the phone with several patients with questions and every time she was short and rude. Then calling patients she was leaving voicemails that sounded annoyed. She continues to complain, in earshot of patients waiting, all the things the office staff is doing wrong. I give them 1 star for the ability to onboard and check in online. Once here it's been a frustrating experience. I sat out front and was called back first but then sat as the dr checked in with the other patients first. It was 30 minutes sitting in the back room before they came in. The recommendation was to X-ray my chest. The dr left the room and 15 minutes later a nurse popped in to tell me that it would be at least an hour before they could do an X-ray. I asked if I could schedule it or leave and come back and the answer is no. Very frustrating sitting here very sick with no recourse but to wait until they are able actually diagnose my sickness. Very bad experience as they make me feel like it's my fault that I don't want to sit and wait for hours to get an X-ray when that was one of the main reasons we went here. read more

Zero stars if I could. Do not waste your time. They will just refer you to the emergency room because they have no idea how to treat you. After waiting a few hours, finally Charlezetta Roberson PA came in to see me. She initially told me she will refer me to a specialist then left the room changed her mind to only refer me to the ER. After waiting again, I told her to refer me to the specialist as she initially said and she said no go to your primary care physician and have them refer you. Excuse me, why did you just waste 3 hours of my time? Bill my insurance? Charge me my co-payment? Then just refer me to the ER? Do you really want me to wait another few hours for them to do the same thing you just did? Obviously there's no manager on duty to talk to talk to. I tried calling the number they gave me twice, left messages, but no response. I mean maybe have a little compassion and respect for people as health care professionals. read more

The front staff at this clinic so obviously doesn't give 2 shits. Instead of CareNow their name should be Care when we feel like it or watch a sloth receptionist work. Every web check in stated they didn't get the text message to come in. I never got a web check in text either. I also watched a horrible old woman sitting for hours with an obvious ankle break. If no one would help her they should've told her to go to the hospital. I made an appointment online for covid testing. Was messaged to come in because they were ready for me, but upon arrival I was told there was a wait and they would call when it was my turn. After an hour I was called and came back 5 minutes after the call and waited another 45 minutes. Still didn't go in and asked for a refund because I needed to leave. If you want to come to this location, expect to wait regardless of whether you're called in or not or whether you have an appointment or not. For $40, when you can go somewhere else for free, I'd say it's not worth the trouble. read more

A friend of mine was able to stop by this Urgent Care last Saturday and was seen right away when they opened at 8am. He had been coughing for over a month and despite going to two other clinics (not affiliated with this one), nothing he was prescribed could help his cough. I suggested this clinic and recommended he get a chest x-ray. When he was seen, the staff also suggested the chest x-ray and they found he had pneumonia in his left lung. Luckily, they immediately diagnosed it and prescribed the appropriate medications. Within the past few days, his cough has improved and hopefully he will be able to make a complete recovery after finishing all of the meds. Thank you so much to this clinic for taking the time to listen to him and actually care about his symptoms so he isn't walking around with pneumonia anymore! We really appreciate it! read more

I fell and twisted my ankle on 6/24 and 6/25 I needed to get it X-rayed. I looked on yelp for urgent cares to see which ones had more than one or two stars and I came across this one. I read some of the reviews and a few mentioned going online to set up an appt which I did. They called me right away to get some insurance info and said I can head over. I was taken pretty quickly once I arrived. They took X-ray and dr checked out my ankle. Overall a very pleasant experience. They even called the next day to check up to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend this place and I also put in my contacts if I ever need an urgent care again. read more

The doctor was great, but the rest of the staff is a joke. Spent almost 2 hours to be seen for 5 minutes. Also overheard one of the staff members cussing while I was in the waiting room with children present. I also had to call because there was an issue with my prescription (no pharmacy in town had it in stock) and they wouldn't change it because the dr I saw the day before wasn't there, and I was told to come back to be examined again by the other dr. So, spend 2 more hours and more money because you can't get ahold of the dr I saw yesterday? No thanks. read more

Ugh Flu season has taken a hold of me... was here 11 days ago and with straggling symptoms felt that I needed to come back. I called this morning to see about wait times, was pleasantly looked after by the kindest young lady who had remembered me from the last visit. Wow!!! She was encouraging and advised me to check in on line to reduce my wait time for a later visit this afternoon. When I arrived to the clinic, I was promptly greeted by the medical receptionist who recalled our conversation from early this morning!! She had me all checked in and the paperwork ready to complete. Double Wow!! Thank you for the empathy for how I'm feeling and the appreciation of my time that you've shown. This group is and has been so professional with fabulous service/bed side manners (which has not been my typical medical experience here in NV) from the front desk to the nursing staff to the doctors seen. A grateful shout out to you all!!! I appreciate you, the best efforts you put forth and the care you provide to the revolving door of patients that you see not only during flu season but year round. read more

I just don't understand why they make people wait for 2 hours or more to see the doctor, cause when the doctor see you he only takes two minutes with you in the room. Today I was there and there were only 6 people ahead me that I counted. It's was 10:55am, when they finally called me was 1:07pm. The nurse made all the routine stuff and the doctor came and checked me in 2 min... I'm ok with that, I just don't get the long wait time. I have been here all week as the flu spread through my house with little to no issues and was going to leave a 5 star review until today. I brought my 18 year old son who is on the spectrum and my foster son which is notated in their files. My question is since when do you, a doctors office have the right to have my 18 year old son who on record does not make medical decisions on his own but is able to take my foster son who is not legally my autistic son's responsibility to go back to be seen as they are both sick and make medical decisions for the both of them and I am told to wait in the waiting room!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? I am beyond livid right now and nothing was even said to me and they ran tests and didn't tell me they did, my kids told me when they came out!!!! I told the gentleman in the front my concerns as still was not allowed in the back. We waited for the results with no apology, received our discharge paperwork and we left. This will be our final time here unless they can reassure this never happens again. Outside of this we come here all the time as it has gotten 100 times better than what it used to be. But this review is solely based on negligence of not reading their files or listening to me as the parent and these are MY CHILDREN not yours and this office had no right to do what they did today. read more

Walk-in clinics have always been a mixed bag for me. You can either end up waiting for an hour or two or be in and out in under 20 minutes. Fortunately all of my CareNow visits fall into the latter category. Whenever I need a get out of work/school letter this is my go-to spot. One of the best things about CareNow is the on-line check in feature where you put in all of your information on their website and then get a call from the clinic for when to come in. This definitely shortens wait times vs. walking in and waiting. This location runs much smoother than the one in Silverado Ranch. The staff here is quick, friendly and knowledgeable. They offer bottled water and process the intake forms quickly. read more

So after calling 1:21,2:05,3:27 no answer and needed to be drug tested the receptionist was no accommodating nor was she friendly and blamed the entire situation. I was given 2 days by employer and being that Care now does not make or allow appointment which is a joke in itself and needs to be rectified because corporation pays more for drug tests than actual co-pays from insurance. With that being said receptions on 6/18 at 5:06 was in a nut shell saying it was my duty to make the time ,but if I call log asking these questions before 5pm starting at 1:21 and no answers why are you not accountable. Are you saying my call log and carrier are lying? Also with that being said why you not allowing drug tests part of your appointment process and to allow people to get employed. Experience, lack of customer service, respect, ridiculous. Online information is vague about online drug testing, customer service is clearly not available from that person working on THOSE HOURS, and the the fact that only 1 person on duty is cross trained for a job is something that needs to be questioned. Go to another Carenow service is awful, timely matter is unacceptable. This isn't the first time I have been here but it's definitely the last. A review is needed. read more

Prescription was never called in and when I called to request I was put on hold for over 40 minutes. At that point I went back to the office where the office staffer who clearly just hoped I would have just given up and ended the call responded by laughing and hanging up the call. They then tried getting my vitals so that they could fraudulently bill insurance for a visit even though I told them several times I wasn't there for a visit and was only trying to pick up my prescription. I've been here twice now, first was my new employer telling me to come here for a drug test. Once I got sick on our vacation - I yelped urgent cares for when we landed at 7:30pm and this location was the only one that was close and was open until 9! So I was so excited when I realized they already had my info on file. The front desk was quick and efficient, the nurse was accurate & kind & so was the dr! Didn't waste my time at all! Got in, diagnosed, and RX was sent to my pharmacy to get picked up right in the morning. They stayed way later than there 9pm closing time and I am so thankful for them! One of the most interesting visits I have ever had to a quick care. I waited for several hours to finally be seen & it was a Physician Assistant who came in and spent maybe 30 seconds with me. He asked what was going on and started to lecture me on sudafed??? Really, wait over 2 hours to see a PA to talk to me about over the counter medication. I could have talked to any pharmacist for free to get the same advise and taken leas time. This was a joke of a place & a joke of a visit. I told him I would prefer antibiotics to which he said fine, NEVER examined me at all??? Did not listen to my lungs, did not check my ears, throat nothing??? Why did he go to medical school??? This is what medical care has come to?? I will NEVER give this place my business again. There are real doctors in other quick care places that will take the time to examine you and discuss health care possibilities with you. This was a waste of my time & my insurance. read more

Well I waited over 5 hours at home for the dr office to send me a text message to say that I can come in to be seen. I waited another hour and 15 minutes once I got to the office to be called back by the medical assistant and it is 45 minutes later and I still have not seen a doctor or P/A this is unacceptable and uncalled for I get it people are sick and they are busy but 7 hours and counting is not acceptable for anyone to wait I am very upset they will take my copay with no problem but they will keep me waiting forever to be seen let's see what the grand total is in the because I am getting madder by the minute I won't tell them but I will report it to cooperate because this is longer than a hospital I could have been in and out by now. So now the dr or P/A finally came in to see me and said what is your name and what are your symptoms and has anyone swabbed my throat for strep or anything else and she said oh it is probably a really bad case of allergies she is very unprofessional it was not right that you don't know what patients you're seeing come on and not even introducing yourself and let me give you a update on the time it is now 7 hours and 30 minutes I could have worked a entire workday but nope I am waiting on theses people who are so unprofessional it is not even funny. I finally got swabbed for strep throat and they did not even think to give me a Covid test and I am still waiting to get my results this is unbelievable in 10 minutes it will be 8 hours well she says that I don't have anything wrong but allergies and said that I need a nasal spray and they don't work for me they make me throw up I have told her so many times before and they should have it on my chart so yes 8 hours later to get no relief at all is bull shit before I go on a rampage on this place I'm going to stop my review. read more

They sent my prescription for antibiotics to a CVS about seven miles away from my residence, six miles from the CVS I requested it be sent to. I've been trying to reach them for the better part of the last twenty minutes to have this fixed. No answer whatsoever. After ringing about ten times, the call just routes back to the beginning of the automated message. Very frustrating. The CVS they did send it to hasn't even received it yet so I can't transfer the prescription. read more

Dont even waste your time checking in online ahead of time. I checked in at 3pm online and received a text saying they would be ready at 4. Arrived at 4 and waited an hour and 45 minutes while watching NUMEROUS people that walked in after me go before me. Even while waiting i got another text saying they were ready for me. And i checked in early so theres no excuse as to why anyone walking in after me would go first even if they checked in early too. Horrible experience. Take your business elsewhere unless you plan to spend 2 hours waiting around after fully checking in an hour before arrival. Then you get in the room and wait around EVEN longer.
