I've gone to this urgent care every so often for a few years - it is okay.. but they don't really care about a patients health. I've had a few issues that I've come here for and they either send you somewhere else, band aid fix it real quick, or send samples off then won't call you back with results or further treatment options. I used to say, I only go here for the doctors, everything else is whatever - now I find that just the whole practice doesn't want to be there or work anymore ... no passion for real healthcare or people - unfortunately that's probably the reality of a lot of places, but that's just my experience here read more

This is by far the worst urgent care I have ever visited. Even when the waiting room is almost empty, the wait time is unbelievably long. I had to wait over two hours just to be seen, and then another 20-30 minutes alone in the exam room before the provider finally came in. The staff was not friendly or welcoming, and the entire experience felt disorganized and frustrating. An urgent care is supposed to provide timely medical attention, but there was nothing "urgent" about this place. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. My first time coming to an urgent care in I don't know how long. We made the appointment in the middle of the night and came as soon as they opened. I did have to wait a bit but it wasn't too long. Jerry was our nurse and was really attentive and nice. Explained everything that was wrong with me and he nicely told me that I needed to go to the ER and made the referral and got me the paperwork pretty quickly, which I really appreciated. Smooth online registration and check in process. It texts you what number you are in line. Another text when it's time to check in, which you can also do online. Arrived and clicked the kiosk I had arrived. Called to the front desk within 10min to pay my copay. Called back within 15min and seen by the doctor maybe 5min after I was in the room. The waiting room and patient room were both clean and free of any smells. The gals at the check in were welcoming and friendly. It was so refreshing to have checked in and registered online and the information actually transferred over! Only had to pay my copay and wait to be seen. The receptionist a male was rude from step 1. Also I waited 25 mins and there was no one in front of me . I set the appointment on the website so it should've been easy it wasn't. Saw the "doctor" for less than 20 mins and he advised me to visit an ER and I spent $235 for that crap . The lady at the register was saying my insurance would not cover my visit and saying it would cost 250 dollars. (She was saying this to everyone). I knew my insurance covered it. My dad was even on the phone with the insurance company saying it would only cost 55 dollars. She called my dad a liar and said it was just his word. They won't text you when you're next. How do I know? I walked in after registering online. The woman at the front desk asked me for my name, I paid my co pay. There were 3 other people sitting in the room, and I preferred to wait in my car because I didn't want to be around other sick people and the elevator music was super annoying. I asked the front desk woman if I could get a text or call when it was my turn so I could sit in my car. She said once you come in, you can't leave. I then asked if she could then change the channel on their tv or lower the volume because the elevator music on loop (just some random tune) was loud and annoying. She said she would turn the volume down, but couldn't turn it down too much due to HIPAA regulations. I laughed and questioned how having an annoying tune on loop complied with HIPAA? I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. Unfortunately, when you're looking for an urgent care that's probably the last thing you're going to do. I was overcharged twice by carenow. After I disputed the charges with my credit card, CareNow went in and charged a $130 fee on a day I wasn't even in Henderson. I Don't live in this area so fraudulent charges are easy to prove, so is the fact that my co-pay isn't $130. Why are you guys trying to rip off your patients? I usually don't use this location but I was in great pain at work and it close. I called to get in line and was immediately (less than 5 min) sent notification to head over to the clinic. It was completely empty, super clean and easy to park. I was listened to by the nurse practitioner, given X-rays due to severe swelling and was properly charged at the desk. I was pretty surprised to see the rating this location received bc I had a completely different experience. Great check in process and I was charged correctly. The referral process to an ortho doctor was suggested and my visit notes were sent to ortho dr in time for my appt. If. I ever have an issue while at work I'd be directly headed to this location for great , quick service. read more

***Misdiagnosed*** I informed them of all my symptoms including the pain in my shoulder, shallow breathing, and the crackling sound when breathing, I was told it was the flu. I did mention to the doctor I believe it might be pneumonia, he sarcastically responded with "how would you like me to treat this? Do you want to go to the emergency room". The horrible way I was feeling, I had no energy to argue or disagree. Fast forward to a few days later, I end up in being admitted in the hospital for pneumonia and severe sepsis. Front desk wasn't the friendliest but they knew how to do their job. Wasn't there long but heard plenty of complaints from other patients and their co pay amount . I don't really care how their day is going either, i guarantee attitude to someone that just walked in is not part of the job. Then they tried to charge me $189 before I even saw a doctor. I've had the same insurance for a while and for multiple Care Now visits, and they have never done that. This was also just to get my ears flushed. I should have known but it was Jan 1st and nothing was open. Dr's quickly diagnosed my daughter with acute bronchitis and gave her 3 different types of medication. Without doing a full work up on her or even checking her ears, we didn't feel comfortable with what they gave. So we scheduled a visit at her PC the next day, our doctor stated that . After nearly the entire Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl (it was playing on TV), we finally were brought back. People started being called back that arrived much later than us. This was my first time to a CareNow facility and it went well. I liked the fact you can make an appointment time online and they will call you when you are next up even if you are waiting from home. They also allocate extra time for you based on your distance to get to the facility so you don't lose your spot in line. I did not go online and was a walk-in which took one hour before I was seen by a doctor. Dr. Wakefield was pleasant and took care of my requests with follow-up recommendations. The medical assistant was very professional and courteous. The back room staff all smiled and said good-bye as I left the office. Really can't get any better than this for good medical care. I came here a few months ago because it burned when I peed. Rather than fully evaluating me, the doctor jumped to the conclusion that my boyfriend was cheating on me and I had an STD. This place has terrible service. The girl at the front desk had no compassion and didn't care at all. When you asked her questions, she acted like it was a hassle. They also charge way over the recommended price, and their only response is, "You can talk to your insurance or go somewhere else." I made an appt. on-line for Sat night. @ 7pm and within 5 minutes the receptionist called me back and said to come in right away bc they would be closing at 8pm. Super pleasant and helpful staff at the reception desk from the moment I walked in. Nurses and doctor Charlie were also fantastic. the x-ray tech needed to come to the clinic and he arrived in 10 min after being called right before closing. I was able to get the diagnosis of bronchitis and Doctor Charlie modified the medication I had been prescribed the Sat before at the Green Valley location. the switch in cough medicine has been very helpful. I spoke with Doc Charlie on the phone the next day and she relayed the results of the radiologist's report and followed up on my progress. Highly recommend this location! read more

Worst experience ever. Not only do we wait forever even after signing in for an "appointment" time but was overcharged on my co-pay even after saying it wasn't correct and confirming with insurance. They won't refund you because front desk girls can't do anything but will tell you to wait for insurance to process and they will send you a check. Then a couple weeks later was randomly charged $180 on 2 separate days without even receiving a statement! Apparently they can't refund you right away so you have to again wait for a check...promptly disputing these bs charges. DONT GO HERE! read more

Really disappointed. At one time, this facility was clean- and quick. Signed in online, asked to come within a half an hour. STILL waited for nearly 2 hours in the waiting room. Demanded that I pay for the appointment, even though deductible and max family out of pocket was met. Within a week, insurance EOB is posted. But they do not have record of payment from insurance yet. Now waiting 10 days for a check to arrive in the mail - after they record the payment. If I could give this place 0 stars I would have. Absolutely horrible. On February 19th I was in Southern California and fell off a bike and hurt my upper arm and back. The following day we drove home to Henderson and arrived early evening. I felt as though my upper arm may be broken so I tried to get into this urgent care for x-rays. They were packed so I made an appointment for the following morning at 8 a.m. Arrived and was shown to a room without incident. The PA spoke with me and I told him my arm hurt from just above my elbow to my shoulder. My back also hurt. He ordered x-rays. About 1/2 later the results were in and he told me nothing was broken. I was not convinced and questioned him. He again stated nothing was broken and referred me to an orthopedic dr to see if an MRI was necessary. I left (not convinced). When I looked at my discharge papers they were also incorrect. It was like they got me and another patient mixed up. See photo below. I called my primary dr and they were able to squeeze me in the following afternoon. I showed my PCP the results and she said, "they did not x-ray your upper arm, only your shoulder and given your explanation of where the pain is he should have x-rayed the upper arm." She referred me to Pueblo Imaging for an upper arm x-ray. The following day I went to Pueblo for the x-rays. Sure enough my humerus is broken. I went to CareNow on Tuesday morning and by the time I received correct results it was Friday. I went back to CareNow to speak with management and was told no manager was on duty. I told them why I wanted a manager and they gave me the card of a "Center Manager" who had already left for the day. I left my information and the correct x-ray results and never heard a peep. I would think if you misdiagnose someone you would at least call them. read more

This morning, I booked an urgent care appointment online at 7:00 AM for an 8:52 AM time slot, thinking it would save time. When I arrived, I was #5 in line. After waiting and watching seven people go ahead of me, I asked the front desk why I hadn't been seen yet. Their response? "Everyone had an appointment." By 10:00 AM--still not seen--I left in frustration. The system is completely disorganized, and making an online appointment is pointless. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place! read more
