What I found was a team that seemed to know that fear and had built their process around easing it. It started at the front desk, where Ms. Samera who was sharp, warm, efficient and charismatic. Once we were in the room, the care continued in a way I haven't experienced at a medical office. Ms. Beverley and Ms. Cat prepped us for the doctor, and two other team members whose names I missed each stopped by individually to help. It felt less like a handoff between departments and more like a village looking out for one family. They were also funny and great coaches, with just enough personality to put a nervous dad and two little girls at ease. Here's what I'll remember. Everyone who came into that room asked my daughters, who are under 12 years old, directly for permission before touching them. They also asked the girls themselves how their symptoms felt before turning to me for additional details. My daughters were treated as the experts on their own bodies, and they watched adults honor their voices at a vulnerable moment. As a dad, I'm rarely given the chance to see that modeled so naturally. Dr. Amal Obaid-Schmid, who is also the owner, explained everything, with Ms. Alyssa accompanying her through the appointments. I asked a lot of questions and never once felt rushed. I left understanding what was happening and why, which is what lets a worried dad breathe more easily - pun intended. What I noticed most was the balance. The hard skills of medicine and process were clearly here, and they were excellent. The rarer thing was how well they were paired with soft skills. The values on the wall ("Love What You Do," "Empower with Integrity") showed up in how the team behaved. This team obviously cared about what they were doing and about how comfortable we were. Everyone seemed to enjoy being at work on a Sunday morning, and that kind of culture comes from leadership. Dr. Obaid-Schmid embodies it instead of just posting it and her staff reflected that. My daughters noticed too. They were inspired by a team that enjoyed their work, and they said more than once that we should make this our new doctor's office. Children who have just been through a scary medical moment want to come back. That may be the best review I can give. I do believe that the greatest inspiration often comes from how and where we set examples. Thank you to this group for modeling the way for my girls and for a dad. We'll be back.

Quick and very attentive to what I came in for. Great bedside manner and relieved my anxiety.read more

We truly cannot care for anyone else until we attend to our basic needs, like our health. Recently, I had some experiences that made me rethink and realize the fragility of one's health. I found this little clinic from word of mouth, Gabriel mentioned it to me. They have great hours, take my insurance, and have the best team. A caring team! My principal complaint when I made the initial appointment was for pain management relief from low iron levels. My hemoglobin levels were way below average, actual at 6. Yes 6! This is the reason for the pain in all four of my limbs. The low iron was causing irregular sleep patterns or no sleep, breathing issues, and a few other symptoms. But one needs "sleep," to survive. The doctor did blood tests, and offered the use of steroids to deal with the pain from low iron issues, so at least I could sleep. I was offered the chance to have a steroid shot and another pain medicine via my vein. These shots were reasonable at $50 each with payment taken at the time of service. It's been a little over a month that I've been able to make this office work for me. The staff is again very kind. While I've had to back off the shots while awaiting my first iron infusion the little bit of relief for the physical pain that comes with "low iron," was at least partially relieved due to the staff here and their recommendations for my health. We have but fleeting moments in life, during this phase and small moments of my life it was truly life changing. Just having someone that cared while awaiting the medical treatments was a god send to me . Pain is a mind numbing experience and really shakes an individual to their core . The staff and all their ability to care truly shows in their service to helping others that are in pain and need no matter what their condition or circumstances. If you live in this area and need immediate assistance for medical treatment and are awaiting something give a call . Let's connect and keep our health so that we can keep spreading love and kindness to others.

I genuinely cannot believe this place is operating as a PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OFFICE…read more I just moved to the area, found this clinic through my insurance, and went in for my first appointment. I can confidently say there will NEVER be a second. Let's start with the receptionist. She was loud, unprofessional, speaking across the office like she was hanging out on a street corner, and casually dropping the F-word while patients were sitting there listening. Zero professionalism. Zero discretion. Zero awareness of her surroundings. Then she called me back to take my blood pressure. GOOD. LORD. The second I was confined in that little exam room with her, the smell hit me. This wasn't a tiny hint of body odor that you politely ignore. This was a HEAVY, stale, musty, haven't-seen-soap-today smell that filled the space. I was sitting there wondering how I'm at a MEDICAL FACILITY concerned about whether the equipment is sanitized when the person touching patients smells like basic hygiene wasn't on today's agenda. I don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. I don't expect perfume. I don't care what anyone looks like. But if your JOB requires you to stand inches away from patients, PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE YOUR SHIFT. Soap, water and deodorant should not be considered advanced medical technology. And then I overheard that she's the MANAGER?! That nearly took me out. If this is management, who exactly is enforcing standards? HER? She's supposed to be the example for the rest of the staff while loudly using profanity in front of patients and walking people into tiny rooms smelling like a damp laundry hamper that's been forgotten for a week? Absolutely not. The provider was at least pleasant, but even that portion of the appointment didn't inspire much confidence. She repeatedly had to leave the room to ask questions and then come back. The entire appointment felt rushed, disorganized and amateurish. I was told I needed a specialist referral. At checkout they had absolutely NO difficulty taking my payment and telling me I was done. Funny how that part of the operation runs efficiently. I left and realized nobody had given me any referral information. So I called. FIFTEEN MINUTES ON HOLD. Someone finally answered. I explained what happened. BACK ON HOLD. Eventually I was told someone would call me back. Three days later, I'm apparently still waiting for this mythical phone call. So, to recap: profanity in the waiting area, an unbelievably uncomfortable hygiene situation, chaotic service, a provider repeatedly leaving to ask questions, no referral information, 15+ minutes on hold, and absolutely no promised callback. But my payment? Oh, THAT they managed flawlessly. The most unbelievable part remains discovering that the person setting this spectacular standard of professionalism is supposedly THE MANAGER. If the manager is the example everyone else is expected to follow, this office doesn't need a suggestion box. It needs an intervention. One visit was more than enough. I will be contacting my insurance company and finding another provider immediately. I wouldn't voluntarily return to this office if they validated my parking, refunded my copay, AND handed me a complimentary bar of soap on the way in.

If you are considering this facility for emergency medical treatment, prepare for staggering…read moreincompetence, administrative negligence, and callous disregard for basic patient care. My grandmother was admitted through the emergency department by ambulance on Friday afternoon. When her labs showed severe deterioration on Saturday, the medical team ordered an urgent MRI. Because she has a modern spinal cord stimulator, we expected standard safety clearance protocols. Instead, the staff acted as if they had never encountered routine implant hardware before. On Saturday, staff asked our family for her stimulator remote and clear photos of the front and back of her device identification card. We sent them immediately. Rather than running the standard checks, staff told an elderly woman in acute distress that her scan was canceled because "there were eight more important cases" ahead of her and they simply did not have time. The mishandling grew significantly worse on Sunday. It became clear that the nurse had completely failed to save or chart the device documentation we provided. The staff scrambled aimlessly, calling her implanting surgeon to demand specific MRI scanner parameters that an outside surgeon obviously cannot provide for their machines. Once that useless detour failed, they placed her scan on hold yet again to contact the manufacturer--something that should have taken twenty minutes on Saturday morning with the card we had already delivered. On Monday, they demanded photos of the device ID card again. Apparently, the nurse took a photo of my grandmother's screen with her own phone, which produced a blurry and unusable image. They also informed her at 11 AM that they weren't able to get in touch with the device manufacturer, so they were delaying her discharge until Sunday. They honestly estimated they would need another 6 days to call the manufacturer. On Tuesday, they finally informed my grandmother that she needed someone to bring the device ID card to the hospital. I then had to drop everything and bring the card so they could take a photocopy. Keep in mind, my grandmother still had the clear scans of it on her phone. Meanwhile, my grandmother was left in severe pain and kept on morphine while her diagnostic work was stalled by avoidable clerical blunders. To make matters worse, staff twice delivered meal trays to her room, allowed her to take a few bites, and then abruptly snatched the food away, stating, "Oh, we forgot you're about to have an MRI, you can't have that." Tormenting a suffering, elderly patient with food because the care team cannot communicate with its own kitchen or review an NPO status is unacceptable. Leaving a deteriorating patient in severe pain, losing vital medical records between shifts, dismissing her suffering as unimportant, and botching standard clearance for a widely used, modern device is systemic failure. This hospital demonstrated a complete absence of internal communication, clinical competence, and basic human dignity. She was eventually released 2 days later with absolutely no plan in place. No pain medication, no insight into what caused this, and no consideration to the fact that she can't keep anything down without vomiting. Do not come here. Literally go anywhere else.
