I have not gone to the dentist in about 8 years due to some anxiety I had acquired from a visit…read morewhen I was 11. I saw some reviews of how some clients felt the same. I arrived for my appointment and the receptionist greeted me and thanked me for filling out the form online. I arrived about 25 minutes before my scheduled appointment and I was called back about 15 minutes after I arrived. Danielle was my dental hygienist and she was very kind, friendly, and understanding of my dental anxiety. She took my X-rays and proceeded with my cleaning gently. It was relaxing and peaceful and I almost fell asleep lol. She regularly checked on me throughout the cleaning and made sure I was okay. Dr. Dickson came by and he was very friendly. I told him about my anxiety and how I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and he was comforting and kind. We talked about both living in the Panhandle! He took a look at my X-rays and my teeth and welcomed me back for a follow up in 6 months. I received a tooth brush too! The receptionist at check out congratulated me on no cavities after 8 years and was very kind. Overall, I had an amazing experience and recommend Dr. Black and Dr. Dickson to anyone (college students and those with dental anxiety) who needs a kind, gentle, and reassuring dental staff. Thank you Danielle, Dr. Dickson, and the receptionist staff for the amazing experience. See yall again soon!

Very clean nice office, staff is actually way too friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond what their job actually entails.

I'll start with the facilities which are beautiful, clean, and we'll maintained. Cleanliness is…read morealways an important factor to me when considering doctors. As the name implies, it is also modern design. The location is easy to get to. For families, they have a gaming station if there is a need to wait. They saw me quickly and we're able to get me scheduled in quickly. A feature I had never seen before is a little room where you get to meet your dentist, introduce each other and discuss any concerns you may have. Dr. Bunker and his staff are extremely respectful of your time if you need to get back to work as I did. As a new patient, they were extremely thorough taking digital exrays and photographs of my teeth. The technician was very helpful for individuals like me with a bone structure that isn't the most conducive for a few of the angles they need. Dr. Bunker was very thorough narrowing down an issue I was having to clenching my teeth while sleeping. He made some suggestions that I am exploring. The hygienist Amy is also nice to work with offering a few non - traditional suggestions. For me, she suggested looking at children's toothbrushes which are smaller and easier to maneuver if your mouth has certain bone structures. The office manager Bill reviews your billing and insurance options with you. Extremely pleasant to chat with. We found out we both like a few of the same business leadership authors.

would not recommend these people. I'm 26 and still on my mother's insurance since I've been having…read morea hard time getting a job Came in cause a tooth was bothering me. And we decided we needed to get me checked out and get whatever's wrong taken care of before I get cut off my mothers insurance (I wasn't 26 just yet but it was close to my birthday) anyway we went in and they had a look at that tooth and scheduled to have it filled. And that was fine. But they later scheduled a full mouth examination and claimed I had loads of cavities and failing fillings. which I found strange. I take good care of my teeth. I floss every time I brush and I brush twice a day. I use mouth wash after I do the brushing process. So it didn't make sense to me. Should've suspected they were full of it But I didn't. anyway they said it was mainly on the right side of my mouth on my upper teeth. they filled those teeth. However they ended up fusing 3 of them together with filament. I discovered this when trying to floss. I thought the gap was just really tight so I tried forcing the floss in. I ended up accidentally breaking through the filament instead. I also didn't realize it until recently but doing that also basically left a crack in my tooth. I didn't get the floss between the tooth like I thought, I went into the tooth. Anyways though we went in a few days later to get that fixed. They somehow didn't notice the newly formed crack. Which to be fair neither did I at the time. But they're the dentist so I would think they would've seen it. All they did when they "fixed" it was polish my teeth that were fused. Which did make the gaps accessible again so I could floss. But after that they became sensitive. I think I told them about this as well but they didn't say anything about it so I guess they didn't think it was an issue. They then said I had 2 more cavities on the left side of my mouth. They didn't mention it after the examination. Should've seen that as a red flag but we instead went along with it. they also said both of those teeth on my bottom left would need crowns. We once again went along with it. Should've gotten a second opinion but we didn't. Got those put in after they did all they needed to do to acquire them and install them or whatever. This was done in June by the way. Those crowns still ache every now and then. Couldn't tell at the time though. And I also thought the aching was normal for the first few weeks. But they still ache so I guess they didn't do it right. Both of those crowns were very expensive thanks to insurance it was 980+ dollars per crown. It was not the end though cause once again they changed their tune and claimed I had another cavity on the top left that required a crown neglecting to mention it until then and once again went through the process of getting that taken care of. And after they got that one put in they pulled the same thing of neglecting to tell me of a cavity until then. This time it was just behind the crown they just put in on the top. They even showed me an x-ray showing the cavity. At this point we began to question if all this was necessary. which is something we should've done way sooner. we then went to some other dentist in town to have them check the tooth they claimed had a cavity and was needing a crown to see if these other dentists thought the same. They claimed the tooth didn't have a cavity and they didn't think it needed a crown given how much healthy tooth structure was left. It was at this moment we realized we basically got scammed. It also made me question if I needed any of the crowns that were already in my mouth now. And honestly I probably didn't. On that side of my mouth where the crowns are, I can't even eat anything that's too hard now. Hurts those crowned teeth if I try. Crowns also last a bare minimum of 10 years aswell as far as I know. So I'm gonna have to get these things replaced at some point. And there's no telling how much these things will cost by then. I'm just angry about this whole situation. To put it nicely. They're lucky we don't sue them to be honest. If I can sue them for this anyway. Hell they're lucky my mother is even willing to still pay what we owe. Definitely wouldn't recommend these people though. Unless you want to get lied to and robbed
