We have worked with different therapists (PT/ST) along they way and each and every single one of the therapists that work there are amazing, wonderful, and extremely educated in their field. My daughter has progressed so much and I have learned so much from what they have taught me and my daughter. The progress that my daughter has made because of the LTTS staff is tremendous. I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. In sitting in the waiting room it is very apparent how much they all care for each and everyone of their patients. Erin is very sweet with children and kiddo enjoyed the speech therapy. She had a few tips that stuck and my little one's enunciation - which wasn't horrible, but was a bit behind peers - did improve during that time. At the end of six months, based on feedback from kiddo's teacher and some other educational figures, as well as my /grandparents/coparent's perception of moderate improvement, we decided to close out the therapy sessions. Erin looked a bit disappointed when I told her the final date, but was professional enough. She insisted that she would "re-assess" progress during that day's session, instead of going over the usual consonant sounds. She sold it a bit - kept talking about it - and I agreed, thinking it was harmless enough to have a written record of progress. The initial assessment at our first visit had been priced the same as the ensuing therapy sessions, so I wasn't worried about pricing. Erin went over her "re-assessment" of kiddo upon our return. My initial perception was that she showed the need for speech therapy as more extreme than assessed at our first visit. There was a minimal nod in one segment to minor progress. There were multiple areas where the report seemed to show regression. It was a bit alarming and my first thought was that she was far less happy about our quitting than she had expressed. Thinking I might not remember the initial assessment accurately, I compared the two reports when I arrived home. My initial instinct was correct. The second surprise arrived a month or two later. A bill (despite our having paid the usual co-pay at the visit) for THREE TIMES the co-pay. Almost $200. Because Tesoros had billed insurance differently, this "re-assessment" had been assessed differently in connection with our deductible and the insurance wouldn't pay. Calls to Tesoros (it took a week of daily calls to get a person on the line) resulted in a circular explanation of how they bill re-assessments. They couldn't explain why it would *need* to be done on a child's next-to-last visit, or why it was billed at a higher rate and filed with insurance differently than the initial assessment. After months of going back and forth with them, I've reported them to my insurance company's fraud team, paid the bill to avoid a credit report ding, and am reviewing them here. It's left us with a very sour impression of what was, otherwise, quite a harmless and neutral experience.

The therapists were nice & made some progress, but they couldn't even remember my son's name half the time. There were a multitude of problems, but the nail in the coffin was when we showed up for a therapy session, after a year of therapy, twice a week & were told we owed close to $1000 because of their billing error. If we did not pay right then, we would no longer be able to come for therapy. My son was, at that time, non-verbal, and had other issues related to autism, which he had just been diagnosed with. He desperately needed therapy, and we felt like we weren't at all valued, and that he was just another patient, just another check. I found RRCTC kind of by accident, and it is one of the best "accidents" to ever happen to us. My son has seen every therapist there at one time or another & he loves them all. They are some of the most caring, wonderful people we've ever met. The owner, Melissa, is...beyond amazing. Not only does she work with my son (and he ADORES her), but she takes the time to listen if you need it. I've never felt like my son was "just a patient" or that we were a paycheck, like the other place made me feel. The therapists have made such a huge difference in my son's life, and we feel loved and cared for...not many places do that these days. While I hope that at some point, my son will no longer require therapy, for as long as he does, we will stay with Melissa & RRCTC.

I called to inquire about an evaluation for my child. The lady with what sounded like an English accent asks if my insurance was with an employer. It was not. Then she asks "is it Marketplace"? Not knowing what marketplace was, I said yes. Then she curtly said that this insurance was not accepted. After the call, I logged into my insurance (which was purchased directly from UnitedHealthcare) and, sure enough, they WERE in network, as I had UHC Choice, and not Marketplace, I call back telling her this information and was referred to the manager, and he was repeating the same information. I told him I misspoke and clarified that I did not have Marketplace insurance and that I purchased the insurance directly from the UHC website, which he claimed this wasn't a thing (YES, this is a thing, because I did it. ). They didn't bother to fully check to see if the office was in network (didn't actually ask for my Member ID information or other details) which is what dozens of offices have done as standard protocol. Eventually the man did say that we can take my insurance, but wouldn't be able to accept my husband's Aetna insurance in 2026 - but that I could still schedule something under my current insurance. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The conversation with reception left a bad taste in my mouth and I have scheduled evaluation services elsewhere. I would recommend in-house office training on how not to escalate insurance issues and on common customer service skills. And if insurance companies are listing your office as in-network when it's not, you need to figure out how to fix that on your end.

This place way better than I expected the people here are great the food good most of the time they look after us great the place is keelpt clean. Everything is have ask for has been done for the most part. I would like to say our social worker is wonderful she comes around every morning to see how we're doing and making sure all our needs are taken care of great job ( BARRY) her smile will make anyone's day I recommend this place to anyone. There has been a few management changes in the past, but the one's running the building now are exceptional; they care, they go to great lengths to do their job well, and at the end of the day consider themselves as family. The staff members are a unique and diverse group of people from around the world, few are not perfect, but the ones that do care a lot for these residents are shining examples to follow. The residents are just as unique & charismatic in their own rights from social butterflies to reclusive turtles, they all for the majority live in harmony.

My mom has been a resident of The Isle at Cedar Ridge for 10 days now, and I am so pleased with the…read morecare she is receiving and how smoothly her transition to an assisted living environment has gone. I toured several assisted living communities in the northern suburbs of Austin while Mom was living in an independent living community and had chosen The Isle as the best fit for her when she needed more assistance, but it has turned out to be even better than I anticipated! Mom made the transition to assisted living after being hospitalized for influenza; she was very weak and not really "herself" (and I was super stressed!) when we moved her in. The kindness we both received from EVERYONE at The Isle has been incredible! Just to name a few... The Directory of Health Services, Arica, helped me set Mom up with a PCP who is excellent and who visits The Isle weekly. Arica and her staff not only immediately coordinated administration of all my mom's medications/treatments (including supplemental oxygen and nebulized medications), Arica also knows all the specifics of my mom's medical situation off the top of her head when I call her (she must have an amazing memory!). It really makes me feel confident that, during a medically complex time, my mom is getting great care. The entire therapy staff (physical, occupational, speech; Select Rehabilitation) at The Isle is phenomenal! My mom has been receiving daily therapy as her time in the hospital weakened her, so she needs a wheelchair now. I have every confidence that she won't need it for long with Mei, Dwayne, Amy and Ashley working with her! These guys already know (and treat) Mom as a person that they value, and they are working hard to help her get better! The caregivers at The Isle (shout out to Darla, Diane, Ali and Casey) have also been so kind to my mom! She was really scared when she moved in - in addition to being moved from the ER to hospital to in-patient rehab before landing at The Isle - she's dealing with 24/7 oxygen use and the wheelchair. She also was living independently before, so needing to rely on people she just met for pretty much everything was very new. I am so grateful to these women for their care! There are so many more people at The Isle that deserve mention - Megan for being so supportive to me (because it is a pretty stressful time when you are responsible for the care of your ill, elderly parent); Ruth for arranging a packed schedule of daily activities that my mom absolutely LOVES; Jacque (who is a nurse in addition to being the Ex Director) for being so open in her communication and inspiring confidence in her team; Andrew, who is so helpful and friendly and who knows where everything is; and Rose, who, just today, drove my mom (in her wheelchair) in a bus to a doctor's appointment and made me so grateful I didn't have to work out transferring her from the wheelchair to my car and back. When you tour assisted living facilities, to be honest, it really isn't your favorite day. But, I really felt like "the vibe" was good at The Isle and I decided, almost a year ago now, to trust them with caring for my mom when the time came that she needed it. Well, the time came this December on the heels of the flu, and I could not be more glad that I made the choice I did!

Our daughter has been a patient with CTPO for seventeen years (first with Dr. John Williams and,…read moreafter his retirement, Dr. Kirsten Ross), through a long and challenging journey with congenital scoliosis and thoracic insufficiency syndrome. She had five years with VEPTR rods, three years with MAGEC rods, and just had her final spinal fusion. Her previous treatments resulted in a lot of spontaneous fusion in her spine and ribs that made the final surgery a big challenge, but Dr. Ross did an amazing job of balancing correction and safety. Dr. Ross was able to achieve more correction than any of us expected or hoped for. Along the way, she genuinely listened to our daughter, answered her questions, and respected and addressed her concerns and fears. We will always be grateful for how much she improved our daughter's quality of life. We have also had a fantastic experience with all of the physical therapists she has encountered. Dr. Julia Morgan in particular has a gentle but encouraging attitude that helps my daughter push through challenges and grow with each session.

When we arrived I had to fill out papers with all the same information, again. There are a lot of cubicles in the administrative area. They also talk a lot about billing and fees. It suggested that the whole thing is a racket. After waiting an hour for our scheduled appointment in the waiting room, we left before being called back. I don't know how many visits they're going to want us to make for this, but if visits require a one hour wait at minimum, there are other places we can go.

My daughter recently completed a three week intensive program at NAPA, and what an incredible…read moreexperience it was! I want to give huge accolades to the entire staff. The program is run at the highest level of organization, care, and therapeutic expertise. Every team member we met was so warm and welcoming. By the end of the three weeks, we had built such meaningful connections with both the staff and other families in the program. My husband and I have seen amazing growth in our daughter, both in her physical abilities and in a new level of confidence she didn't have before. Her occupational therapist, Savannah, was incredible. She and Rachel, her other OT, made such a lasting impact. Our daughter's face lit up every time she saw them, and their energy and kindness kept her motivated and joyful throughout every session. Her physical therapist, Rachel, was just as amazing. We were in awe watching all of the creative and dynamic movement exercises she designed. Each session was perfectly challenging and helped our little girl succeed. A big shout out as well to her speech therapist, Madelyn, who brought so much positivity and encouragement every day. Thank you, NAPA, and all of your amazing therapists, for welcoming our daughter and our family with open arms and warm hearts. We are so grateful and we can't wait to come back!

With so many kids with more severe delays than my little one, it's awesome to see how they really care for the children. I'm still waiting on feeding therapy for my little one (which he needs more desperately than PT, so I will update when that occurs).
