Once my father was inside the van, his wheelchair was held in place with restraints at the 4 corners of the lower part of the wheelchair, along with a seat belt and shoulder harness. I called again buy no answer and the phone goes to a different phone number than I called, and then the mailbox is full. I arranged other transportation that morning. Once the paperwork was completed we had a situation where we had to transport her in the next 3-4 days to make sure she arrived before her next procedure was needed. David couldn't free up a vehicle to pick up in S. Texas that quickly but he took the time to make some calls and he was able to find another company that happened to have a van 300 miles away and could pick up in two days. He set me up with them and also refunded my deposit and we were able to get my mother moved to Oceanside that week! Most companies would have just said "sorry" if they couldn't do it but David knew how stressed out I already was and really helped me out of a jam! We booked a reservation in advance for transport for 9:45 a.m. on Friday (August 6, 2021). No one showed up at 9:45 a.m. so we called the company. I called from a number they didn't have on file and someone finally answered. The person who answered the phone said she didn't know what happened but that she would call the driver to find out. She said she would call me back. I'm still waiting for that return call. I understand that things happen but they were unapologetic and didn't even bother to return my phone call. It's too important when people need to go to their Doctor's Appointment.
