Can I just say I have never had better customer service then they provided. If I could rate them higher than a "5" I would. I was in last minute situation whereas my ride to a medical procedure scheduled for this past Saturday 7/24 had to cancel and I had no one else to drive me due to family and friends being out of town for soccer tournaments. I called after 7:30pm last Thursday and Jeff answered the phone very professionally even though I thought I was going to just get a answering machine. I explained my situation and with no hesitation he said "I got this". He just had to check with his other driver and that if he didn't get back to him, we were good to go. Saturday morning I was kind of nervous not only for the surgery but wondering if they would actually show up.... but no worries. Jeff himself instead of the extra driver showed up not only on time but 25 minutes early. Jeff is so supper friendly and and so professional. Come to find out after he dropped me off he was going to his Nephews grade school graduation in between coming back to pick me up in an estimated 3-4 hours. Of course I was done sooner than expected and Jeff was right there waiting to sign me out and bring me home. He didn't only drop me off but made sure I made it in the house and that someone was actually home since I was pretty drugged up. I could not have asked for anything more. I totally recommend them to anyone in a similar situation. I will use them in the future for sure. Thanks--Kevin read more

O I made a reservation for a ride formy non-mobile son to get a ride for spinal surgery to Rady's childrens hospital. Harold charched me right away $275. Then I called to cancel a ride because hospital send me an email that they are going to pay for transportation. Harold doesn't want to pay my son's $275 back, however, he promised to do so. This is absolutely ridiculous read more

I didn't actually get a ride, but I called and talked to the gentleman and I had a very good feeling about him and his service. He gave her very reasonable quote for the service, but I wasn't able to afford it and I was in between switching insurance, so I didn't know if the new insurance I got was going to cover it so it was, something I couldn't take advantage of at the time. But I just recommend the friendliness and professionalism and just really caring about your transportation situation. So I will use them if I find out my insurance will pay. If so, I'll choose them always. read more

Harold is more than just medical transportation. He is like a friend you can trust (better than many family members). Harold has provided transportation for my friend who is in a wheelchair to apptmts. He was able to accompany her during lab tests and reliably provvide information to doctor and caregivers. You cannot easily transfer someone with mobility from a wheelchair to a car and then expect another wheelchair at the destination. The cost is minor compared to a fall. read more

Harold gave amazing and professional service! I'm 2000 miles away from my mother and she asked me to find her medical transport for the following day. Harold promptly returned my call and explained that he doesn't just drop her off at Kaiser's doorstep. He would stay with her the whole time. The next morning he arrived a few minutes early to ensure there would be plenty of time to get to the appointment. After the appointment he sent me detailed information about what the dr recommended. And he safely brought my mom back home. Knowing Harold and his family are available to help is a blessing I'm glad to have found. read more

Harold has been a godsend to us. My boss's brother moved to a nursing home in the San Diego area where he did not know anyone. He needed a lot of help getting to and from doctor appointments, including chemo treatments. I contacted Harold after one of his rides cancelled at the last minute. Although Harold was busy that day, his kindness struck me and I hired him the next day to start driving him to and from all his appointments (sometimes 4-5 appts a week!). Harold has quickly become almost like family to us. Tyler trusts him and calls him regularly just to chat, and Harold always answers and is so kind. He also helps take him grocery shopping, etc. He goes above and beyond for our family and for Tyler. I would be worried on an every day basis if it was not for Harold. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! read more

After Dawn Services is the Greatest Transportation Service I have ever been served by! I had several appointments over the span of over a month, and Harold Brower was excellent and very pleasant. Harold and his Team members arrived on time, know their territory super well, shared some excellent advice, and dropped me off after all was done for the day. I accomplished my goals plus more. Every day. I was able to work on and finish two projects I had been working on for months. With Harold's consistent great help, I was able to finish the projects in 3 weeks. Thank you, Harold and Team! (I am a paraplegic, have traveled all over the US and other countries. Have started and grown 3 tech businesses. Quality transportation is a must!) read more

Without After Dawn I would have never made it to the hospital and back. Justin, my driver is a wonderful person. Thank you Jeff for showing such kindness to my Mom. Jeff was responsive, reliable & sweet. I will only use your service in the future.

I was in a quandary as I needed an outpatient surgical procedure that required a "responsible adult" to come in and attest to transporting me home before the Scripps Rancho Bernardo ambulatory surgical center would perform my procedure as it required administration of medication preventing driving myself home. I did not have any friends or family available at the time, and the center would not accept Uber, Lyft, or taxi service (liability issues). I'm under 60, so do not qualify for any other medical transport/escort services in San Diego. The owner and my driver were professional, courteous, prompt, and the ride/experience was comfortable. There is a huge need in the Rancho Bernardo 55+ and other retirement areas for their type of services and I highly recommend. It's not as cheap as Uber, but then again it's much more than just a transportation service. read more

Harold is the most amazing, compassionate transport specialist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My brother is terminally ill. As his sister, I take his care very seriously. Harold offers amazing pricing, prompt service, always returns your phone call within the hour. For example, my brother was not properly secured in his wheelchair by the senior care home prior to being picked up. Harold was worried about this and did his best to "make due". He knew my brother was in need of speedy transport. When my brother tried to get out of the chair upon arrival to the hospital, (against all advice of course), he fell out of the chair onto the floor of the van. Instead of waiting for Covid procedures at the ER to "kick in", which was ridiculously slow to respond, my hero, Harold decided to devise a super safe & methodical way to get my brother back into his wheelchair!! I luv this man. By the time the staff finally got their "stuff" together and came to assist... well, you know the story... my brother was already being checked into the ER for very serious medical isues. Also, Harold delivers precious cargo - making 300 trips per month. He's an amazing referral source for the best senior care facilities!! My brother has been removed from the terrible facility he was in. Because of Harold, he's getting the best care now in a new facility in Escondido. Harold is the best!!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO MISS YOUR DOCTORS APPOINTMENT! I scheduled a ride to a medical appointment with Jeff, the owner, 2 days before my doctor's appointment. Jeff was telling me how wonderful his service is and the driver stays at the appointment with you so you don't have to wait to be picked up in the doctors office like the big companies do. I had scheduled a 1:30pm pick up as my doctors appointment was at 2:pm. At 1:35 I called Jeff and he stated that the driver tried to call me to say he was on his way but I didn't answer, which was a lie,and I told him I did not have a missed call. I called again at 1:40 and again he assured me the driver was on his way, another lie. When I called back at 1:45 he told me the driver would not be coming because he had a difficult client! Jeff didn't even have the courtesy to call me and tell me this! As C.B. stated in her review,no apology,no nothing.Consequently I missed my appointment and my doctor doesn't have another opening until the end of next month..I read more

Run don't walk from this "service' . It was the worst service my 91 year old mother ever received from a transport company. The driver Harold is terrible and rude. He was not honest about the situation he caused leaving my mom to wait around in a doctors office for 30 minutes. When we contacted the owner about the issue, he was no better than Harold. No apology, nothing. Just said his driver was right, when he was not. read more
