He waited for her for a little while, and then offered to come back 90 minutes later after he helped another scheduled client. He kept his word and was even a bit early returning. I can't express how grateful I was that he was able to accommodate us - he really went above and beyond what I could ever reasonably expect. I thought for sure I'd need to take the rest of the day off work to transport my aunt myself, but Daniel saved the day. Payment was incredibly fair and easy to arrange, too. Once the paperwork was completed we had a situation where we had to transport her in the next 3-4 days to make sure she arrived before her next procedure was needed. David couldn't free up a vehicle to pick up in S. Texas that quickly but he took the time to make some calls and he was able to find another company that happened to have a van 300 miles away and could pick up in two days. He set me up with them and also refunded my deposit and we were able to get my mother moved to Oceanside that week! Most companies would have just said "sorry" if they couldn't do it but David knew how stressed out I already was and really helped me out of a jam! I called from a number they didn't have on file and someone finally answered. The person who answered the phone said she didn't know what happened but that she would call the driver to find out. She said she would call me back. I'm still waiting for that return call. I understand that things happen but they were unapologetic and didn't even bother to return my phone call. It's too important when people need to go to their Doctor's Appointment.

I had seen and heard so many recommendations of Scroggins Transport Service on social media and from acquaintances, I was glad he was available. Jason is that great combination of professional and friendly. As I approached his car, he immediately jumped out to help me in case my vision was at all impaired. I could actually see well enough not to be wobbly, but I appreciated his concern and actions. He drove me to the appointment, waited for me, and then drove me home. We had great conversations each way, and the price was actually more affordable than had I booked a separate Uber each way. The car was beautifully maintained, the ride was smooth, the communication setting up the appointment and letting me know he was on the way were all perfect. I told Jason I had been keeping an eye on his ads and social media posts for a while, knowing I was reaching a phase of life where family was no longer close by, and friends were not always available to help out with transportation if I couldn't drive myself. Of the many local drivers I've seen recommended on social media, I was impressed that Jason is open to driving clients to medical appointments and social events, not just airport destinations. It is important to me that Jason has commercial insurance and this is his full-time business -- many drivers are not as appropriately insured and may only be driving as a side gig. I honestly feel like a burden has been lifted off of me, knowing that I can turn to Jason for future medical or other appointments. Had he been in business when I was driving my elderly parents to doctors' appointments several times a week, I would have eagerly booked him for a few of those visits, knowing that my parents would have been given the assistance and caring attitude that Jason offers. This last time the woman on dispatch was having a hard time understanding the location I was describing. Not surprising because it was in a large industrial area not mapped by Google. But she turned to her supervisor, and the supervisor knew exactly the location I described. The ambulance crew had no trouble finding the location and arrived early. The paramedics and the critical care nurse were top-notch professionals. Everything went smoothly. AmeriCare's website is being redesigned, and a Google search does not turn up the most helpful page. Our driver Veronica was courteous and cautious; a very good driver. The van was in very good repair, mechanically sound, with an excellent wheelchair lift system. Once my father was inside the van, his wheelchair was held in place with restraints at the 4 corners of the lower part of the wheelchair, along with a seat belt and shoulder harness.
