Get your Freak on for Valentines Day
Juan V.

Don Juan Valentines Edition: Valentine's Day is approaching. The best way to a man's heart is to find out what he likes and what he follows. Give your man a card. Not talking gift card or Valentines card. I am talking a different type of card which is timeless and it wouldn't be thrown away just in case you break up. He will keep it even if you break up and then make up. It's a card he will forever hold on to ( unless he sells it on eBay). There is a place which has all kinds of cards which are current but the past cards bring a bigger smile. This card I am talking about is a sports collector trading card. There is a place which has many in stock and it's called Card Vault by Tom Brady. On a Winter Valentine week stroll in across the street where the San Francisco Giant have won World Series on King street there is a place to grab that valuable card. The digital gift is always a good thought but men like a physical gift ( use your imagination). Although Super Bowl is over you can still continue celebrating past Super Bowls by getting the collector sports card of your favorite team or player. The sports card is a gift to show you know him and that you appreciate him. A sports card can create long term memories ( I had sport cards longer than girl friends) and bring value ( like the sports card in a few years ) to your relationship. Remember Valentines gift exchange is not an one way street. Go to 3rd and King to Card Vault by Tom Brady in San Francisco. Come to the place where you will find cards for almost "everything"of professional athletes who won more than one Super Bowl "ring "and some athletes are known for their home run "swing" this is where you find the majestic players in a league of their own on 3rd and "King" This is where you find the home run king collectibles of Barry Bonds sports fans "exalt" where cards are "bought" and see freeze frames of athletes in motion during a game which was thrown or "caught" by the kings of the sporting world inside Tom Brady's "CardVault"

To sum it up: Many games for purchase, clean and organized store, MSRP Pokemon trading cards, and…read moreallows donations. My husband and I are huge Pokemon fans and we love to open and collect cards. But with the surging popularity of this hobby, many stores such as Target, GameStop, and other collectible places sometimes increase their prices, so it's not worth it to buy them overpriced. Gamescape keeps their prices as MSRP and their staff is very friendly. They keep it simple and easy with their Pokemon trading card items behind the counter and if they have more, they'll tell you and if they're not, they're out. None of that "hiding items from customers" nonsense that you see from other stores because they want to keep it for themselves, and etc. I also appreciate them accepting our donations of Pokemon items and accessories such as playmats, dice, binders, etc. After opening Pokemon cards, my husband and I do not need 10+ playmats, bunch of dice, and countless binders. With all of these in "never used" conditions, we would rather donate them to kids who would appreciate them more and have fun with them. I definitely do not want to sell those to kids or others as well, since they are free items with the Pokemon cards. Gamescape accepted our donations and was very appreciative. Thank you Gamescape for being one of the few places who sells their Pokemon items at MSRP and allowing us to enjoy this hobby without burning our $$$ too much lol

The bustling murmuring of fans chatting bout the game. Everyone in the community here is so helpful and open. They gave me card protectors and even game resources. The staff is the best. Always friendly and enthusiastic about helping you. Their price are the best in town bar none. Even the official Bandai store is 20$ more. Ironically, during this pre release event for a new set, the official store didn't have any products. ( Gamescape price are the best and they give free packs per win. I definitely recommend you to shop here for your TCG and figuring hobbies needs.

Visiting San Francisco for the first time in 19 years, I made it a mission to find a game store…read more The closest one was about a mile away, so I walked from The Clancy in SoMa with one goal: buy the new 2024 D&D Monster Manual. That's my rule: if I step into a game or comic shop, I have to buy something. It's a hard habit to break at this point. From the outside, the store looks massive -like it might contain the multiverse. But once inside, the retail selection isn't quite as big as it appeared to be. BUT... it's got great stuff. Solid board game options. Plenty of space for RPGs and card games. It's the kind of store that's clearly built around social gatherings and play. Spacious and not cramped. A rare find in a city setting. There's an upstairs and downstairs, but those seemed more dedicated to table games you can meet up and play rather than shopping, so I didn't explore too much. The staffer working was friendly and helpful. She even checked if they had the new Monster Manual. Unfortunately, they didn't. That was a letdown. I mean, it's been out for months. If a game store doesn't carry the NEW core D&D books, especially right after a new edition drops, it stings a bit. They had plenty of the original 5e, but not the new. Still, I wasn't leaving empty-handed. Picked up a slick set of dice and the softcover Pathfinder 2E Monster Core Pocket Edition. Gotta support the cause. Overall? I'm glad I found the place. It's a real hangout spot. Honestly, throw in some coffee and comfy chairs, and I'd post up there for hours. Coffee and dice----- it just works right? Note: The 5-stars is a soft 5 because it really doesn't deserve a 4. I just wasn't floored and wowed by the place in general. 4.5 would be perfect. But a 5 it is DESPITE they didn't have what I came to get.

They gave me out really weird vibe and uncomfortable atmosphere with staff or whoever is in there…read more I ended up paying for sometime anyway because I didn't want to walk out empty handed, especially with the attitude of whoever work there.

This place is located on the same block where they filmed the church wedding scene in the retro 80's music video ( RIP MTV) for the song " Jeopardy" by the San Francisco based band Greg Kihn band. On an Autumn stroll what is considered a San Francisco Summer month I went to a store which has been selling nostalgia merchandise and current popular culture figures and collectibles for over 20 years in the Mission Dolores area of San Francisco and it's called Super 7. Stepping inside Super 7 and you have entered another fantasy universe where you see all types of monsters , hero's , villains , and animation characters in SF. Even the wall paper of Super 7 has Star War icons such as Boba Fett to Darth Vader. This place has Halloween action figures year round like Dracula and Wolf man along with retro Halloween masks. They have action figures of music acts such as Daft Punk, OutKast, MF Doom, and other musical performers. They sell merchandise from Peanuts to Sesame Street. They also have t-shirts for classics such as Power Rangers , and SpongeBob SquarePants. Super 7 has Japanese toys and novelties inside. This place is a Halloween celebration letter to San Francisco because everyday is Halloween in San Francisco especially in the Mission District. I went to the block in the Mission District were I lived as a kid and as a "teen" where everyday is like "Halloween" go to Super 7 which is located on "Sixteen" with the streets of Guerrero and Dolores in "between" Inside the Super 7 has some unique toy figures from movies and "television" and famous bands that make songs that are popular to " listen" with some toy releases which are limited "edition" they have many collectibles all in one unique store in the heart of the "Mission"
