Purchased this cake and asked to have Happy Birthday Cuauhtemoc on it. She asked me to write it down, so I did. Then she asked me again about spelling. She asked... Cuau? I said yes. I spelled it even neater Cuauhtemoc. She sealed the cake before I saw it. I figured I spelled it twice. Told her CuaUhtemoc so there was no question and she left the U out anyway. I can only imagine this was purposefully and her sealing the box before I could check makes that clear. CUAUHTEMOC. Yes, there are 2 Us in his name. Theres also an accent over the "E" but i left that out. Named after the Aztec emperor. read more

Ostigan!!! read more

Poor customer service; my dad took his Recycling bag and because it wasn't from there the cashier grabbed it and threw it towards him so he can bag his own food? I guess Cardenas is a bag your own groceries store like Food 4 Less?, Heck if thats so then their prices need to go down like Food 4 Less. Food and Desserts are good though...... read more

Very bad customer service in the Service Deli. Both the lady and the man weren't friendly at all. The lady was trying to tell me that they didn't have the Combo with the tacos with rice and beans. I won't go there again. I rather go to Cardenas in Indio they're friendlier there. read more

This place keeps getting worst and worst. Where do I start, when we wanted to get something from the Cocina we we were waiting there for a few minutes and when the guy and girl saw us, you would think they would approach us, but no. They've continued with their conversation. Then the cash lady, wow. No greetings. Ok not a problem. But she said nothing the whole time. Tossed the bags to us and then rushed us bc she was already ringing the next person. She almost smashed my groceries. Then we get home and the chips taste stale. The hot dog buns has moled. I've been living in Coachella all my life, I've always known of their shitty service but now it's also affecting their quality of food. Things are not fresh anymore. Service is horrible. read more

Honestly i never ever cardenas because of their lousy service, but there is this one sweet Lady her name is Maria D. I want her to make my drink everytime i go, she is just such a nice person!! read more

Their lettuce Is over priced for the quality. Lettuce is dried out, dying looking. Why would u sell it full price? Avocados here are either too hard or cracked open and expect full price? The indio Cardenas is always stocked and with fresh produce. I don't understand why this location doesn't own up to the Cardenas name? Poor management maybe? This would explain why they only have 2 registers open all the time. Regardless how busy. read more

What a bad.really bad service.worst than walmart. Only two cashiers. Slow as a turtle.with ten people at least in each line.cardenas don't care about customer service. I just droped my items and walked out.never coming back.rather drive some miles to a grocery. Not recomended read more

Cashier had the nerve to joke with the customer ahead of me that I had grown angry when I didn't respond to her "hello". Your right miss, I was angry. I was the first of about 8 people who arrived at your check out station as you were in the middle of attending a female customer. You took your sweet time scanning every item as if you had never seen where the bar codes were. Chatting it up the whole time. Extremely unprofessional. I will not be back. read more

I come to this location for some items that are often over priced at other stores such as Albertsons, Stater Bros, etc. If looking for Hispanic products you will find them to be authentic and not over priced when you see the same product at the "hispanic" isle some where else. read more

Well I always come shopping here with my family but they always have a few cashiers open when it's really busy like right now there are over 30 people waiting and there are only 3 cashiers open and a lot of people have more than 20 items so that's more of a wait they need more workers open at the cashiers even if they cleaning read more

Seems like nobody is happy with their job, whenever I try speaking with an employee they give me so much attitude.

I seriously cant stand this place! I went in with a friend and we decide to get one cart to put both of our groceries in , she grabbed a pack of tortillas and sour cream and I had grabbed Pan Dulce, milk, tortillas, and a couple of veggies so our total was like 10-15 items all together so we got into the express lane and started separating our groceries and putting them into the register when the cashier says " you can't put your items here you have more then limit " so we told her that we were separating our groceries for two different transactions she said " no you can't use the same cart for two different transactions "?????? If you want you can go to another lane ??? So we went to lane right next to it witch was an express lane, the cashier had no problem with us having our items in the same cart, so I ask the bitchy cashier why she wouldn't check out our groceries when the other cashier had no problem she said " well that's me and that's her" ?????? WTF I called corporate never ever did anything same rude cashiers not professional at all! read more
