Right away, the staff welcomed me and offered a beverage recommendation. I was perfectly fine with water, but they insisted the Thai Iced Tea was worth trying... and they were absolutely right. It did not disappoint. I was looking for something low-carb, quick, and healthy, so I went with the shrimp rolls and peanut sauce. The presentation alone had me drooling, and somehow the flavor was even better than expected. What really stood out though was the overall experience. The restaurant was extremely clean, quiet, and relaxing -- the perfect atmosphere to sit down, enjoy lunch, and get some work done. They even let me plug in my laptop while I worked, which I appreciated more than they probably realize. Sometimes it's the small things that leave the biggest impression, and this place nailed that. I already know I'll be back to try more from the menu, but what I had today was good enough that I had to leave a review immediately. If you're looking for a peaceful lunch spot with great food, amazing drinks, and a welcoming environment, don't miss this place!

Anyway, once we got home and opened everything up, we were again pretty pleased with our orders - House Curry for her and Pad Kra Prow for me (Medium spicy). The portions were healthy and my Pad Kra Prow a bit spicier than expected but still a very nice blend of flavors with the ground chicken and bell peppers. The curry helped cool it down a bit too. Friendly folks at the counter and fast service. Nice.

What we have determined is that someone peed in the bed the bed was probably not changed out therefore someone's urine was left in our bed in our hotel room. I've taken several pictures of it absolutely horrible so at 8:45 at night we had to move our hotel room to another room now mind you this was the second time we had to move rooms today. The first room was carpet was horrible and it smelled funny so they moved us to this room then we just moved to another room. The friendly staff promptly showed us to our table. A QR code stood in for the menu, an arrangement I tolerate rather than celebrate. One quick request produced printed menus and restored diplomatic relations. We began with shrimp salad rolls, which arrived remarkably quickly, with crisp, fresh vegetables. The accompanying peanut sauce was flavorful without being thick or ponderous. Frankly, the only thing preventing me from drinking it was a lingering respect for table manners. My spouse ordered the Egg Noodle & Basil Stir-Fry, generously loaded with shrimp. I chose the House Thai Peacock Curry with tofu. Its combination of Panang curry and peanut sauce was rich and intriguing, with just enough spice to keep each bite interesting without turning dinner into a test of character. The food arrived quickly, our server remained friendly, and the lively atmosphere made Thai Peacock an excellent choice before a show at Portland Center Stage. The restaurant we remembered fondly is now firmly back on our list. Thai Peacock earned an encore.

How do I know about this restaurant?…read more For a very brief period of time, I decided to DoorDash... on a bicycle. It was very brief, due to the fact that Portland's hills are... well, I'm in a good shape, but I won't be in the Tour De France. A side benefit is that I learned where a lot of good food in Portland resides: Thai Peacock and Little Peacock made up a fair amount of my orders. How much do I like Thai? So much that I learned to make it myself, and I make a better than average Pad See Ew/Kee Mao... So when it came time for a lunch break, well, I couldn't wait to order from Thai Peacock. I got the Pad Ka Phrao (there was not an option for super hot / Thai hot... my one complaint about their system... more on that in a minute)... and started walking. It was easy to pick up, well labeled, and hot when I arrived. The reusable bowl (for the paper bag crowd who are taking notes.. this is Portland ya know)... was full of delicious meat and vegetables. The rice was packed separately, along with the single serving of added sriracha. The serving was more than generous, and good in its preparation. There are some caveats here: Thai Peacock does not make their dishes in the same way that many other Thai restaurants do... they do it with minimal ingredients, hoping you'll add on vegetables. It gets annoying when you're looking at ordering pad se ew, and you might otherwise get a similar dish for $7-$10 cheaper. The lack of an ability to add additional heat is also unwelcome. However, I understand that each Thai restaurant has its own way of making a specific dish. The generous portions make the bare bones dish a good value, if not the best representation of the dish I've had. This would be 5* for a group meal (no shortage of options, and consistent service), and 4* based on comparison to other Thai dishes at similar price points I've had. 5* here based on what most people would likely say. An extremely reliable restaurant with tasty food and generous portions deserves it.

Well, the facility is clean, at least. That's one thing I can say in its favor…read more And Trojan is probably pretty good if you only plan to use the storage for 2-4 months. If you need long-term storage, though, look elsewhere. Once your initial 3 month term ends, rates will go up as much as 400%; I'm not talking about over the discount, but over the published rate on their website. For example, a 5x10 will be $60 for the first 3-4 months (plus discount), and then Trojan will raise the rate to $140 and dare you to move out, and they'll raise it by $10-$20 every year. So look at those rates on the website, and multiple them all by 250% before you commit, because that's what you'll really pay. This location also has tremendous staff turnover, and as you might expect of folks who work for a horrible company for only 6 months, most of the staff are rude, unhelpful, and often unavailable even during published office hours. Occasionally you get a nice staff member for a few months, but they leave for their own mental health (none of the nice staff mentioned in reviews are still working there). The elevators are regularly broken, as are the sliding doors, the carts are missing, and one of the drive-in gates has been chained permanently shut because they can't keep it in repair. Avoid.
