Very nice. Clean. Friendly staff. Their costs are comparable to everyone in the area. Have had a pet taken care of here.

I have been to Springer and Son for the service of my son's ex father in law, as well as the passing of his best friend. Their facility is very nice, and hands down the staff is amazing. I recently lost my 15 year old pitbull, Sadie Mae and I knew they cremated pets. I contacted them, they took all the needed info over the phone. When I arrived, they gently took her from the car, as the in home vet had helped place her in the vehicle. You could tell they care about the people they serve even if it's an animal and not a human. The cost was extremely fair and less than if I had let the in home vet take her, or if I had taken her to the vet to handle cremation. When I came to retrieve her cremains, they were returned in a box with a pretty sticker with a rainbow and my pups name. They did a nose and paw print for me. It definitely helped ease the stress of a difficult time

These guys are amazing! Lost my little girl( 14yo chihuahua) and Dustin made the process and things so much easier. Even though others would think she's just a pet these guys never showed that view and were so caring and wonderful! Thank you for making a really hard time easier to deal with! 5 Star Service!

Took my 11year old pet to be cremated. Clark greeted me but didn't know any prices for the urns I was looking at. He had to keep going back and forth making me wait and wait each time. I finally asked him if he could please get a price list or send someone else out. It seemed so unorganized. I picked out a cedar box and handed my precious baby over to Clark. I had wrapped her in the sheet she always laid on folded at the end of the bed and told Clark TWICE that I wanted to get my sheet back. It was special to me. Wheni came back to pick up my baby's ashes I was told the sheet was cremated along with her body. I couldn't believe it I was so upset and it added to what was already such a difficult time! I spoke with Kyke who said he would talk to the owners. Kyle called me a couple days later only to tell me they were sorry, that's it... no offer of any kind. It would've been a kind gesture to at least waive the payment of the box the ashes were put in but nope, nothing. Just an I'm sorry. I was so disappointed in them, I would never recommend them to anyone.

These people are calm, compassionate and caring. So VERY helpful. They definitely made my stressful times bearable. I've worked with them twice... My parents, having set things up with Spinger & Son years earlier, come time, had their every prearranged detail honored. While their wishes were prearranged, there were still details that were new to me, and the staff patiently walked me through those details. Very personable. Very professional. Very respectful. The establishment is clean, tastefully decorated, and has a comforting air about it. It's not a service that many choose for a livelihood, but Springer & Son are really good at what they do. I highly recommended them! Oh, and just an aside, they also offer pet cremation...

I had my dachshund dog of 19 years cremated here. Was very pleased with the service. So much so that I'm thinking of using them for myself.

Everyone here is so nice and comforting. I got my sweet kitty cat cremated here and it was a very smooth and fairly priced process.

When that is no longer the case and tough decisions need to be made, we had an excellent experience with Compassionate Care to say goodbye to our pup. Let me start by saying that every administrative and customer service interaction was timely, clear, and concise. The last thing you want in this situation are delays and confusion. Once I reached out through the contact link on their website, the email response with details about their different services happened within 10 minutes. An intake call to make arrangements for a euthanasia visit at our home was answered by a human and only took a few minutes. They recommend making a reservation 48-hours in advance, but we were put on a wait-list and we moved up our reservation when things opened up. I appreciate that you can reschedule (with four hours advance notice) as well. They have a variety of services, Eco-friendly cremation, and memorial pieces. Everything was arranged in advance, including payment through their web portal, so when the vet arrived for the appointment it was all about our boy and his (and our) comfort. Dr. Wilson clearly walked us through the process, gave us time to say goodbye, provided options, and was a wonderful partner in the process. Cremation is done at a facility in N. Portland, but they have the option of picking up the cremains in Oregon City which was more convenient for us. Having gone through this experience with another pet where we took them to the vet's office, I would highly recommend this option for the pet's comfort. It just felt better saying goodbye in a familiar space surrounded by love.

Unfortunately, we were above the income requirement to get full assistance, but the total cost was less than any of the at home euthanasia places we contacted as well as cheaper than our normal vet. We arrived around 8:30 pm with our dog and requested their services. We got right into a room with her. They were very kind and empathetic. They were helpful in explaining everything. They allowed us to sit with our girl for as long as we wanted before and after the procedure (we were with her during as well). Letting her go was such a difficult, heartbreaking decision. The cats I've had that died in the past were euthanized at the Vet and the Vet took care of the cremation so I didn't know what to do. I called a few pet crematoriums and then this one. The gentleman on the phone was so nice and empathetic so I chose this one. They're also quite a bit less expensive than the others and the price includes a choice between 2 beautiful Oak Urns. We didn't have the money immediately so we had to put Luna in a freezer. They didn't know we were coming but when we arrived, the lady was right there holding the door open for us. We were taken in to a beautiful and peaceful room with a big mural painting on the wall of Rainbow Bridge and comfy places to sit. She explained the process, had my son and I choose the urn and asked if we wanted clay paw prints and a keepsake of Luna's fur. She then told us she would go out of the room to allow us time with Luna. The price is great, the urns are beautiful, everything in there was beautiful with all sorts of jewelry and keepsakes you can buy that are made using your pets ashes. The entire staff are so caring, compassionate and empathetic. The whole experience made such a hard time a little bit easier. I highly recommend Family Animal Services! RIP LUNA

We were - and still are - heartbroken from her passing so we knew that we had to find a well-respected crematory to handle her final needs. My husband's brother had taken his well-loved dog there upon his passing and the folks at Heavenly Wings had done a splendid job. The dog's ashes are in a beautiful urn in a cherished spot in their family room. We called and set an appointment for the same day our girl passed away. When we arrived for our appointment, we found a welcoming chapel-like entryway where we laid our girl while we made arrangements for her cremation. The staff was so sweet and thoughtful. Robin gently walked us through the process, options, cost, and when we could expect to get our girl's cremains. We picked our dragon princess's ashes up on the day we were told to expect them and they had been beautifully sealed in a lovely tin with a sympathetic note from the staff. A tiny amount of ash is locked in a beautiful necklace with a bejeweled cylinder that my husband wears around his neck now so our girl will always be close to him. When we picked up our girl's ashes, the staff members remarked how cute she was in the purple cape and wizard's hat we had clad her in when we were preparing her for her final trip, the one to Heavenly Wings Pet Cremation. They handled our pet with dignity, and the overall process was smooth, respectful, and timely. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do, and that made a hard situation a bit easier. However, I do want to share one piece of feedback for improvement. We had specifically requested a paw print keepsake and mentioned it multiple times, as it was especially important to my son, who has taken the loss very hard. Unfortunately, when we received our pet's remains, the paw print was not included. It seems there may have been a miscommunication along the way. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was something that can't be recreated, and that part has been really tough for us--especially having to explain to my son that we won't be getting it. I'm sharing this not to take away from the kindness we experienced, but as a reminder to double-check and confirm special requests, especially the ones that carry emotional meaning for families. Overall, I'm grateful for the compassion shown, but I do hope the team tightens communication processes to prevent something like this from happening to others.
