Ordered a large white w/ sausage and sweet peppers (not sweet at all just regular green peppers), 20 wings and a chicken finger dinner. First off none of it was fully cooked, had to put pizza in oven and wings and chicken fingers in air fryer. To top it off we received a red pizza NOT WHITE. $67 later and it sucked. This is the N. Greece location which is hit or miss. Red pizza had no favor, sick of calling to complain so will be putting them on a long pause. read more

I've lived in Hilton for 49 years and have gone to the South Ave. store since they opened. Service is key and depends on who you hire and what you expect from them. For at least the past 5 years service is a joke! The kids act as if they're as high as a kite and could care less about service. For Father's Day, I got a steak sandwich and my wife got 2 slices of pizza. The girl at the counter was going to give me 2 slices from the warmer, but another kid suggested she wait and give me fresh out of the oven slices. He put them on a single skimpy paper plate and was going to give them to me that way to take home!!!! He saw the look on my face and asked if i wanted a bag. I asked if they had a box to put them in, so he got a regular pizza box and, literally threw the paper plate and slices into it and threw it on the counter. The pizza was a mess when I got it home and was only partially cooked. It was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! So, Carbone's is not the only place in Hilton that as pizza and we will be looking into them. I will do everything I can do keep my friends and relatives away from Carbone's. read more

The food quality is still ok. But they've gotten greedy with rudiculously jacked up prices. Given the economy, it would be understandable. Yet not so given plenty of competitors have not followed suit with only modest price increases. We KNOW that being a business owner SUCKS in NY, but these prices are just too much. So, we've moved on to spending elsewhere. read more

We are at a going away party for us and they ordered pizza and wings from Carbone's. My husband LOVES Carbone's. I think this might have been my first time I have had it. I have never really liked sheet pizza, even from the pizzeria I worked at for 8 years. Surprisingly, I REALLY liked the sheet pizza with just cheese and pepperoni. And they have those little pepperoni that curl when they are cooked. Love that. Even cold, the pizza is great! The wings were - eh. But we got to the party a bit late and they had cooled off. Maybe they were better fresh. Would definitely would return if in the area again. read more

I have had pizza from a lot of different places. I think this is the best. When I think of pizza, I think of Carbone's. This pizza has always been my favorite. I've had none better (though I can say that I've had some that was as good). It's nostalgic and I particularly like the sauce. It's excellect, and they usually put it on liberally. The pepperoni also gives it an added zip, and is by far the best I've had on a pizza. The wings are also excellent, as is the celery. Maybe I'm one of the few who likes the celery, but I would enjoy having more of it included with an order. Last year, I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, peppers, onions, and olives. The vegetables were piled high, coarsely cut, and very flavorful. Usually pizza places wimp out on their toppings, but Carbone's basically put a fresh, delicious garden on my pizza. Not only were their portions generous, but they were as good or better than the fresh vegetables I get from the store! The onions were so fresh and potent it would make my eyes water. My dad, who doesn't like pizza, actually said it was good and ate more. I just wanted to complement Carbone's on that. I've given them praise before, but they're due for some more. :) I will say that the pizzas are sometimes inconsistent. There might be different amounts of sauce and cheese on it depending on who makes it. Usually the more sauce and cheese, the better. I think they could easily expand and open up new restaurants. ordered 3 large hot subs from Carbone's in Hilton, ny. they were the worst subs i have ever had. the buns were burnt and very dry, the chicken fingers were over cooked and i ordered 12 inch subs and they were not 12 inches. I try to buy local, but I will never go there again. not recommended. read more

Quite expensive for a neighborhood pizza place and the pizza isn't even particularly good. The pizza crust is soggy and the wings are almost always underdone, like they're sacrificing quality for speed. And if you pay by check, be prepared for wait three weeks for them to deposit it! Forget Carbone's, order from Mark's, much better pizza and they don't charge a delivery fee. read more

If there is anything less than one, that would be my rating. After driving 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back, we arrive home to find out that we were given the wrong pizza. After calling to discuss the options we were told that we could either drive all the way back to return the opened pizza (probably to be given to the next person) or be given a $5 credit on our next purchase, although the pizza alone was $40. This is by far the best pizza in town. There are pizza shops closer to me, but I'll go the extra distance for Carbones. My family is a huge fan of the white pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni. If you haven't tried it, then it should be a must on your list. We've also had the regular sauce with pepperoni and sausage. I have gotten Pizza and Wings twice in the last month. Ordered a large pep and cheese and an order of hot buffalo wings. Wing sauce was almost mild but let it go because they were still good. The pizza tasted like soap and I think they took the pizza cutter out of the soapy water otherwise pizza was good as usual. Went again last week and pizza was good but only warn, they said pickup in 30 minutes and I was there in 25 and it was ready. The wings however were mild again and supposed to be hot, maybe a hint of hot. both times were on a Saturday night when they are busy as @#$%. I would suggest the manager/owner taste the product once in awhile and treat every order as the only one of the night. I will try one more time and if not as ordered they will be off the list for good. read more
