This was served on toasted rye bread, thousand Island dressing, Swiss cheese, and loaded with corn beef. This comes with a side of fries, which I may say are fresh cut fries and you get a signature "Goldstein Deli" pickle. This was a very delicious Reuben, everything on this sandwich complimented each other. The bread had a perfect toast to it. Now a little about the service here, very professional, very welcoming from the time I walked into the door to the time I left. My bacon, avocado, spinach, and tomato omelet had rock-hard avocado slices and undercooked bacon mixed with bacon bits. Potatoes were just okay but came with no condiments. I barely ate a few bites before I was too grossed out to continue. When I told the server, she just said, "I'll let them know," and still handed me the full check -- no apology or discount. I orders a McDoc (egg and cheese with a choice of breakfast meat) on a hard roll (bulkie), a hash brown, and a cup of coffee. Nothing special, but it was delivered fresh and hot just minutes later. Egg was a real egg, not from a carton. Bacon was crisp. The hard roll was soft and chewy. Hash brown was not greasy. A really nice meal. There is a small seating area which is clean and comfortable, and I sat at the window and watched the travelers from I-81 fuel up and move on. I'd much rather stop here and support a local business than sit in line at a National chain.

Nothing beats good liverwurst and the have the best. Many of their breads are made by Sylvia's which is an old Polish bakery in Brooklyn. We couldn't resist taking home a loaf of sourdough. The sausage sticks are available in veal, pork and a mix. Their ham and salami are the best I've had in the Poconos. This is now my go to deli.
