For a small deli shop in Hamlin Pennsylvania they know how to treat customers with dignity. From…read morecold to hot subs, panini or salads they can make just about anything you might desire. Personally I prefer the hot subs especially chicken with bacon and sautéed mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Normally not something you see on the menu and yet they excepted the challenge and successfully executed. Very small inside space so definitely take your order to go if you're going with a group. Parking is limited as well. Hope someday they can expand to a larger atmosphere until that time they still have my business always.

I cant review the other food yet but definitely recommend this. They take cash or credit, have plenty of street parking.

For breakfast on my first trip I had the Lumberjack Special and oh my goodness, it was so much food. My scrambled eggs were perfect- not overdone or underdone. Their delivery radius is larger than typical, so it couldn't hurt to ask even if you think you're too far away. My husband wanted to try this place and I have to admit, walking in there the first time, I didn't have high hopes. I've been to a lot of country cafés that looked like this, and I'm used to a simple and limited menu and a lot of stuff frozen or from cans. I ordered the ravioli special and my husband had a burger. The ravioli was good, the sauce was home made. But my husband raved about his hamburger. He's quite the aficionado, and he was quick to declare that he would have expected to pay near twice as much for a burger of that quality. We've been back several times since they opened earlier this year and we have never been disappointed. We were a bit skeptical when they added pizza to their menu a month or two ago, but tonight we decided to try it. It's our new favorite pizza in the area. It's real New York style, big and flat with a foldable, chewy crust and a sauce that is flavorful and not at all sweet. The prices are good value, the owners are friendly, and food is worth the trip to Forest City.
