My wife brought home two Roast Beef Hoagies that were packed with delicious Boars Head Roast Beef. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and tasty. The only thing I would recommend is that you ask for salt and pepper in any Boars Head Cold Cuts because Boars Head doesn't add salt to their meats, which is actually a good thing. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards.
