Sooooo goood & so many great choices!…read more There were so many different kinds of cheesecake I wanted to try them all. I saw this place when I first got into the Poconos District for the weekend and knew undoubtedly I was going to make a stop before heading back home to DC. lol. Let me be the first to say, this place is a must stop! The cheesecake was hands-down, bona fide, banging!! I had the pumpkin cheesecake and strawberry cheese cake slice. Both were delicious, with the pumpkin cheesecake being my favorite! I also purchased two carrot cake, cupcakes at the recommendation of a local patron, and it did not miss the mark! Everything I purchased was fantastic! The slices are huge and they also offer half and whole cheesecakes. I say go big or go home ....Besides, you can have leftovers if you want (no judgement zone here. lol!). In addition, there is a section of frozen cheesecakes and sampler portions/cuts to go, which is a perfect idea for those that are visiting and heading back home to their final destinations from a weekend spending time here. In all, you can't go wrong with making a stop here. The customer service and hospitality was exceptional, and the cashier-attendee that assisted me was very nice. She answered all the questions I had regarding their products and even gave some personal recommendations which led me to the delicious pumpkin cheesecake that was the highlight of my visit! The only thing I would say that is not necessarily a negative, but I think it is just good to know is to not expect this place to be cheap. Just because it's in a small town are off a roadside. The cheesecake and sweets goods are a little under pricey side , but hey ....... Coming from DC. It's still a deal and cheap in my book for handmade artesian baked goods that are a slice of heaven. I definitely recommend and will keep this place on repeat for my next visit when in the area!

They are very generous with their scoops so that was a great surprise! Service was great and the place had a lot of seatings surrounding it. There's even a family friendly area where they had two life sized Connect 4 games for kids to play with. The area was kept clean and the vibe is very family friendly. They did have one or two sugar-free ice cream options. Many flavors of Italian ice. They do the hard chocolate exterior dipped cones. Two options for soft ice cream. I do believe they are open seasonally. Outdoor fire pits for you to sit at while you eat your ice cream, so, even if it's a little cold or feeling like fall weather, you could be warm and eat cold ice cream at the same time and be completely happy. Highly recommend you stop here on your way home or on your way in!

I smiled and said "No. I'm just picking up our takeout." She said "They're fresh baked today." I don't know about you, but I'm a mere mortal. And the fact is, I was running a few minutes early for my takeout. So I went inside. It's mostly a blur at this point, but they had kind of a traditional, but creative, homestyle cookie and a few different varieties. I ordered a large Peanut Butter Cup cookie and some sort of Apple caramel deal. My ideal cookies are soft, warm and full of stuff. Extra points if the cookie is so fresh, that it collapses from its own weight when you hold it from the side. That's exactly what these cookies were. They were literally perfect to me. As enthusiastically as I can give a 5 Star Review, I give it to Got Cookies. And it's in a plaza with other great food businesses like Wingz and a Prayer and AJ's Parm House. Make some takeout and cookie plans!

The food as very good. The Chicken Cranberry Croissant (toasted croissant with pulled chicken and cranberry salad with arugula salad) was our favorite. I've come back while driving through just for that chicken sandwich. Unfortunately we were traveling with it and I asked them to separate all the items for us and they did not. Would have been nice to reconstruct it ourselves and not have a soggy sandwich when we got to our destination. Much better to eat immediately so make sure you do that. I would have to say space is limited and the placement of the furniture makes it hard to dine in. It was very interesting because there were parties smaller than us and they all seemed cramped as well. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in on the left, we all had to sit on the bench because the circular table in the middle of the space blocked us from sitting on the other side of our table. It was very awkward because it was hard for our party to get out and the other table was full and wasn't being helpful by scooching a bit haha. I would recommend the food here but only if you're in a small party and looking for a quick bite.

It is a unique; concept that I never imagined the food to be delicious, and honestly didn't know what to expect, as my first impression was it was mainly for kids; until I read the omlet review. Needing a place for an early dinner, after stopping at Walmart and Cambelback Resort, to do the mountain coaster...on went my YELP search for local places. Pocono Rocks& Little Rock Cafe, received higher ratings and something important, when your a YELP Elite a long time . The ambiance was overall welcoming, not noisy at all with the kids inflatables, and rock climbing next to cafe..Keep in mind, I was there this past Sunday after 4 pm. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and in my opinion went above and beyond. The cafe side had cute, charsmatic signs, by the front area , near the register. Later, found out the story with there meaning, from chatting with the owner. Farm to fresh, everything made from scratch, food and bake goods. I ordered the 3 egg omlet, your choice of meat and veggies, came with home fries and toast. To go, I ordered the pierogi's; little different then I'm used too, as I am Polish. They even had a full size kitchen, where the omlet was one of the best. These pierogi's had cheddar cheese onion and green pepper. They were still filling and tasty, and decent size.Overall, yet another memorable, delicious experience for me supporting a local business. I'm sure it can get busy at times with mix of parties, kids and the cafe. Step out of the ordinary cafe, dining experience, and do stop in; you won't be sorry. The owner was a pleasure to chat with, and would stop back in ,when in town for food again. Don't let a cafe/ bounce/ rock climbing space; deter your decision , to stop in and check out the food and space in general .

It's neat to have the kitchen and cafe such a part of the experience, too. I could see spending even more time here with my family. Crossing the street is tough. Try to park on the side of the facility.

Don't get scared by the wax statue as you walk in like I did! When you see a place like this in a resort you don't think it's going to be much.. but it actually was really good. The hundred layer lasagna was piping hot and super tasty. The fettuccine Bolognese was loaded with meat and the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. Penne pasta, the salads, the appetizers of calamari and burrata and the Italian wedding soup all delicious. Be careful of the meatballs not sure if they just didn't mix it well or if it's supposed to have hot pepper flake in it to give it a little kick.. but I've been into a chunk of meatball that had so much hot pepper in it I couldn't eat it. The pieces that didn't have all that hot pepper we're very good! Their drinks were delicious, old fashioned and other things.. expensive but delicious. Kids got their food 30 minutes before the adults, so they were finished by the time the adults' food arrived. Inaccuracies, even after taking so long. Way too salty, some things pre-prepared/reheated (chicken parm especially egregious) but still arrived cold. "100 layer lasagna bolognese" was literally a generic mountain of basic salty meat sauce with a little linguine. It's garbage. They know it. They think that giving you a bucket of it will make up for it. It does not. At least it was hot, which is apparently a bar they typically are unable to reach. Waiter was MIA. Food service was wandering with dishes, unaware of what table they were going to. Especially frustrating when you've been waiting an hour for your order. Our large group was promised a full table in a room. They sat us at two awkward, separate tables in the middle of the restaurant. This is while we can clearly see multiple, empty rooms during our entire 2 1/2 hour time there. They claim the food is authentic Italian. It was so bad all around, that if I was Italian, I'd be offended. Overpriced slop.
