Super fun atmosphere. Prices are very fair. The cocktails are amazing as well as really good food! Would go back!

    1.5 liter cava sangria

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner while visiting Barcelona and we both enjoyed our experience at Carabela. We had the 1.5 liter of cava sangria, which was very good and also a great deal since it was only about €17. We also shared the chicken nachos, those were recommended to me by a friend, they were great. We got the small order and those came out being larger than expected, which is never a bad thing. The nachos were only €6,50 for the small order which was a very good portion size. I had the avocado salad with chicken, it was amazing, I loved it. He had the beef burrito and enjoyed it as well. We came here on a Friday night for dinner and the atmosphere was very fun and lively, a lot of young people having food and drinks. I definitely recommend this spot for a good deal on food and drinks. This place delivers in terms of good value, great food and fun atmosphere!

We got the nachos to start with chicken They were really good The tacos were eaten too quickly so no photo of those, good but the best ever Staff is really friendly and very reasonably priced for being in a tourist area

My friend and I stopped by this place for a quick bite, and service and speed was not bad. We had the veggie burrito and veggie tacos, both which were standard; spinach veggies, cheese, beans. The tacos were served in a semi-crunchy shell; it was grilled enough to be crunchy, but not in the typical store-bought crunchy shell tacos. Overall, taste was good, and it was just the amount we were looking for.

Me encanta este restaurante!!! If you are in Barcelona, you 100% NEED to visit this cafe! It is located right next to the famous Barcelona beach. If you are taking the metro, you would exit off the Barceloneta exit! This place is great for tourists especially because almost all of the workers speak English and they were so very helpful in recommending places to visit during my study abroad visit. This place has THE BEST tacos, burritos, and nachos. Though the food is not authentic Mexican food, their twist in the way they create their food makes this one of my favorite visits in Europe. I came weekly during my 3 month stay in Barcelona. They have 5€ burritos, and 5€tacos (2) and the best strawberry margaritas for around 6€! They also have WIFI, which is useful for tourists abroad who do not have a phone plan! You can stop by for a quick bite, friendly service, a refreshing pick me up, and wifi service, on your way to the beautiful Barcelona beach! Cannot recommend this place anymore!!!! Definitely a great place to come for delicious food, when you're on a budget!

One and only cafe that has everything I ask for: Fresh ingredients, nice outdoor, reasonable price. Sandwiches & Burgers starting from 3,5 Euro, cocktails 5 Euro, Juices 4 Euro, Teas are 2,5 Euro. All good!! My favorite is Burrito. It comes with tortilla chips and guacamole sauce. Make sure you starve to death and then order it. Then the whole day, you won't want to see food. It was so good and fulfilling that since then everytime I make one in my own chicken, I try to make as good as them. Unfortunately, I haven't pull it off yet. Talking about big delicious portions, salads are not joke here. They are fulfilling, fresh and tasty. Today I was there again with my friend. It was packed. We were lucky to find a seat. The weather was sunny so we sat outside against the port and cross from 'El Cap de Barcelona'. They had good music coming from inside of the bar. Not loud but just enough to hear the conversation with my friend. This time, I had manchego cheese sandwich with strawberry juice. I paid 7,5 Euro. My friend had strawberry tea for 2,5 Euro. As a side note: I saw on other tables that mojitos are flowing like water. I have to give credit to the staff as well. They are all British, speak very good Spanish, super chill, and polite. They notice your existence and ask for order immediately. Not like other cafes where the staff is all Spanish and you wave, call out, make mimics until you feel lucky enough to get the 'un momentito' routine. But hey here in Carabela you don't need to do acrobatics to get attention, service, food, staff, location are all 10 out of 10 points!

The sangria was delicious and fresh. We had fast service. Beautiful view overlooking the water and many tourists in this area.

The burrito was deeeelicious and super filling. I felt better eating a huge burrito, knowing I'd had a fresh pressed carrot orange ginger juice! Great spot, great view, super friendly servers. A lucky find on my first meal in the neighborhood! (Thanks to Yelp reviews ;) )

Large nachos. Fresh guac and tomatoes. Hot sauce is hot so be careful when you put it on. Almost too much for my hubby he is a big eater.

My hubby and I went out on a Sunday around 11:30pm. We found this place right off the water and expected it to be expensive but it wasn't. The wait staff was fast, offered their suggestions, and explained everything. I got the house burger with chips and guac (9 Euro) and my husband got the large nachos (8.5). I got a cocktail and my husband got two beers. Everything was fresh and delicious and I enjoyed location.

The food was awful. The tacos taste like grocery frozen burritos. But they are made from scratch so I just don't get how you can mess up a taco. I gave this place 2 stars cause the price of beer is excellent. 3.50 for a corona? Sign me up. Get your food somewhere else and come here to get lit.

Well all the "gushing" and praising is highly deserved! My husband and I were in Barcelona for a short 33 hours to attend an FC Barcelona match at Camp Nou, and thanks to Yelp, discovered Flax & Kale. After the Sunday night match, we dined at the Tallers location, and the next day we found our way here! It was a perfect stop on our walk from La Sagrada Familia to El Born! The feel-good vibes and delicious, healthy eats continued to flow into day 2 of our short visit, and at this F&K, they have their very own Kombucha Bar in the back that looks like a very interesting chemistry lab with neon lights. Overall such a beautiful, artsy space from the white pillars to the exposed brick walls, metal vents, and sleek wooden tables and accents! We tried a few menu items that were completely different than what we ordered the day before. Every single thing was tasty, fresh & had us questioning, "Is there any room in my belly to try something else on the menu?!" Oh yes, it's that good! Highlights of the day were: * Matcha Latte with their fresh Almond Cashew Milk * Green Love cold-pressed juice * Plant-based "cheddar" Kale Chips * Paleo Bread with their Marcona Almond & Coconut Butter * Gluten-free Focaccia Bread Gorgeous food (that's good for your body, soul & tastebuds), friendly service, great music, and well...we just can't wait to come back!

I…read morethink it comes down to personal preference - the Passage shop is much cozier, with a smaller space and warmer tones. As a party of four, we were seated in one of their booths, which can be completely private as they have sliding doors. I had a lovely view of fresh pizza being made, with the chefs assembling each pizza by hand (with love). For a Sunday afternoon, it was surprisingly not too busy. For the main, I ordered the salmon sushi sandwich. I loved the classic Japanese flavours presented in a non-traditional format. It wasn't super filling, so I opted for their toasted hazelnut ice cream, which came with a delicious combination of mangoes, grapes, and a cocoa cookie. Note that it was a grainier than ordinary ice cream, and the flavour was quite potent. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meals. Also super impressed that EVERYTHING is gluten-free. I highly recommend a visit even if you do not have dietary restrictions!
