Car sound is now my first choice when looking into purchasing or installing electrical work on all of my vehicles. After having work done on my wife's car (a car starter installation) I was driving around and notice that her blind spot monitoring was having an issue. I called Car Sound to have them check their work, since I was unaware of any issues until the car starter was installed. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Upon inspection of the car, the owner of Car Sound came to me, after inspecting the installation work, with the owner's manual explaining the safety features of my car. I was aware of some of the information, but it was very helpful to have a professional explain the features with detail. During this time, an office manager was looking up information on her computer to find out what could cause the issue. Between the owner and office manager they diagnosed the issues and showed me how I could check for the culprit if I ran into that issue again. I called the dealership to see if they would also check the issue out and make sure that there aren't any other sensor issues. Long story short they told me it would be $180 just to bring it in. I went home pulled a panel off the car cleaned out the rocks and am no longer experiencing issues. I madevarrangent with Tom service manager. To remove tint off of my Honda accord. Most recently his employee could not remove all of the tint. I waited hours for this To be done.while waiting, I requested to to Tom that I wanted my car and to leave he kept stalling, then I caught Tom making a phone saying it's here. Within 1/2 two men showed up. My car was park inside your building with both doors wide open. They charged me 1400.00 to install a stereo i purchassed from them..wire in my amp and rip my 15" sub..when i talked to them they firdt said they didnt do it.and when i showed them a pcture of the day i dropped my truck off they then changed and said it was dry rot.which you can clearly see it does not have.if i could give them a minus 10 i would.they never even hooked up my steering controls..service was poor,craftsmanship was terrible,and their attitude was sickening..stay as far away from this place as you can..absolutely pitifull read more

I had a great experience with Car Sound! I walked in without an appointment to see if they could help me with my 2012 Kia Sportage radio that no longer was working correctly & right away they were able to give me an idea of what might be my car's stereo issue & provide me a price range of what it would cost depending on the problem. I was able to bring it in later that same day for them to pull out the radio & check on the actual cost with the manufacturer. They said it would take approximately 2 weeks to get back, as it had to be shipped out, & they called me right when it came in & were able to get it re-installed that same morning & made sure everything worked as it should again! I was very impressed with their customer service & detailed information, so I knew what to expect. They also saved me a TON of money compared to taking my car to the Kia dealership! Awesome service! Had a backup camera, new radio and a remote start all put in. Max was extremely helpful and did an excellent job. They even put new batteries in my key fobs without me even saying anything and didn't charge me! Now that's some above and beyond service! I had my remote starter installed here on my '09 Ford Fusion 2+ years ago. Recently, it's been on the fritz. And let me tell you, in Iowa, in the winter, fritz doesn't cut it. So, I rolled in to C&S one afternoon and they replaced my starter fob...thinking that was the deal. Car started fine. I rolled home, no workey. So, I went back the following day, they replaced the antenna. Worked perfectly and still does. They exchanged and refunded back the price of the starter fob no questions asked. Brought our car in for window tinting and when we left found that the outside pillars of our car windows had been ruined/melted. Called to complained and They reluctantly stated they would order new parts that they had damaged and install. Took about 4 months to finally get the pillars to get replaced. I would not refer or recommend anyone use this business for window tinting due to poor service. read more

I posted to reddit.com looking for a reasonably priced place to install a remote start in my car. After multiple people telling me Car Sound was a good place, I called and checked it out. Not only could they get me in 2 1/2 weeks earlier than anyone else, they were over $100 cheaper than anywhere else I looked. Just had my remote start installed today, and they were perfect. I am in auto school and didn't wanna do this type of job as it's a huge pain. They had my car out in 4 hours, which is wonderful. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice, even though they were completely slammed with business all day her bright smile never dulled once. when I arrived at the store I was greeted by one of the employees. I told him that I needed a stereo installed in a corvette and wanted to add some additional speakers as well. Obviously inexperienced he told me he would have "Max" field my request. He returned a few minutes later and told me "Max" was busy and asked if I would come back later. Apparently they have plenty of business and didn't need mine, I told him that I would not return later and that I would take my business elsewhere. Clean, well kept, organized shop! Plenty of parking, answered the phone quickly, also got us scheduled quick! Installed a top of the line system that looks factory installed and sounds amazing! Also installed a Drone Security System that works flawlessly! They even set the sound to an optimal settings! The car was immaculate when we got it back! Recently we had a motored replaced from a recall, and the dealer returned the car with the brake lights not working! They as well as other mechanics were clueless! "Mason" and the crew tackled it for us and got us on the road with brake lights working! Truthful and transparent would be good words to describe these guys! Took my Harley to Car Sound Stereo several months the rear speakers stopped working. Upon inspection I found very shoty workmanship wires just twisted together and a plug glued that fell apart. I have used them for several installs but never again. read more

RUDE!!! I called to get a quote on window tinting and they were less than happy to give me that quote. They made sure to mention that they have more than enough business without mine. I asked for a quote when the man who answered said they don't tint in the winter and when it warms up they will be too busy to do tinting, but he would have Max give me a quote anyway. Max got on the phone and his demeanor was less than thrilled. He sounded like I was interrupting him and taking up his valuable time. He sounded like he wanted to be done with the call and quickly gave me a quote. Never once did they do anything to try to get my business. They did everything to send me to someone else who wants my business and who appreciates it. I just bought a new car and I have plans to modify it in a few ways. However, I will not be giving them my business or my money. Being rude or turning away business is less than smart business. I hope they always have an abundance of business to keep going. read more
