Gary's prices are incredibly fair, and he has gotten me financing for as little as 2% (even when my credit was in the gutter). He's incredibly picky about the cars he brings in and puts up for sale, and stands behind every single one. If you have a problem during the entire time you own one of his vehicles, he will repair it and only charge for materials. That's a huge selling point for me and something you won't find at any other used car dealership around that I've found. This is just one of the reasons we've kept going back year after year, and will continue to do so.

I recently experienced a breakdown on the highway, and I had no idea where to have my car towed for the repair. I was in a slight panic and wasn't sure what to do. I called Ernest Motors, and asked if there was anyone who could take a look at it to tell me what was wrong. I spoke with Gary Ernest, and he told me to have them tow it there and they would take a look at it. The Hero Unit that came to my rescue had said it was my alternator after checking it out. Well, after I had it towed to Ernest Motors, they checked it out and confirmed that's exactly what had happened. Note, I bought my car there about five years ago, so this was not a fresh purchase, and alternators do go bad over time, so this was normal. They made a call and had the part sent over to them. While I was inside, and trying to find someone who could pick me up, they came in and said "your car's ready to go". I was shocked, as I thought I would have to leave it there, or have it towed to a shop to have the work done. They actually put the new alternator in my car and sent me on my way. Thank you Gary and Eric for fixing my problem, let alone within an hour! If that's not a dealership that stands behind their cars and then, after a few years of owning the car, goes above and beyond.... Just saying, they are AMAZING people! They seem very disinterest in your business and whatever issues you are having with your car. The attitude has become condescending and blunt. Too bad. Then to top off they continue to lie and say all dealers are doing it, so I checked around and both the ones I called said they do NOT markup reservation orders, but they do on stock. Don't be dumb like me, go to Aiken Ford or Courtsey Ford. Bunch of dishonest crooks. UPDATE: Dealership Manager called admitted the mistake and lack of communication and made me whole. Not 5 stars because should have never happened to begin with, but 4 stars since the did clear things up.

One of the worst service experiences I've ever had!…read more I brought my Ford Fusion in to this service center to get the A/C fixed and a headlight replaced. I was told I'd get a call back in 3 hours with an update--two full days went by without a single call. When I finally heard back, they gave me an absurdly high quote. I agreed to it anyway because I needed my car for work. Then they held my car for another three days just to tell me they couldn't fix the headlight--at a Ford service center, no less. They also tried to fix the A/C and failed at that too. To top it all off, they didn't even screw the under-shield back in properly, and it ended up dragging under my car while I was driving. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. No one was friendly, helpful, or professional. I strongly recommend taking your car anywhere else but here. Total waste of time and money. If i could give them a negative start i would.
