I am not sure it had ever been cleaned since it rolled off the lot. It had stains all over the cloth seats, stains on the ceiling, and the plastic had been sitting in the sun and caked with grime. We got a quote from Ryan and he were very competitive with their rates. He really takes pride in detailing and had different strategies for dealing with different stains. He used his steamer and extractor on the seats and plastic. All I can say is wow, I can't believe how he got all the stains out and completely rejuvenated the plastic and interior. I should have taken before and after photos. The car looks brand new inside and I think it added $2000 in value if I went to resell it in this condition vs what I purchased it. I didn't even expect the plastic to look like it does now, and I was sure some stains wouldn't be able to come out. I was flabbergasted. On top of that he and his wife are so accommodating and nice, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you!

I did what I could to clean up the mess, but believe me when I say that it was a MESS. I found Sonny's through Yelp and Ryan was so quick to respond and he set up an appointment with me ASAP. I scheduled a full interior and exterior detail with a carpet shampoo and heat extraction for the floor and seats. He was so friendly and professional and was also very patient with me while I confirmed some things with the resident manager of my building. The morning of my appointment, Ryan arrived at my apartment complex and we talked a bit about what he was going to do. The smell of the shoyu pork was still very strong and you could see the remnants of my attempt at cleaning. He explained the plan and it included deodorizing the ac system, too. Awesome. I left my key with him and he got to work. About 3 hours later, Ryan informed me that he was finished with the car. He showed me a picture he took of the spill area before cleaning. In the span of 3 days between the spill and detail, it had started to mold. Horrible! Now, it's like the shoyu pork incident never happened! What a relief! Ryan and his wife did a fantastic job! I'm so thankful for their hard work. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing car detailing company!

At the end of November 2025, I used this company for a car detailing for the first time. This is…read morethe worst experience I have ever had with a business in Hawaii. When I came to pick up my car the detailer indicated that he walked into the gas cap cover on my car and broke it off. The owner indicated that they could order a replacement the next week. They made sure they collected the total amount for the detailing, even though they damaged my car in the process. After waiting to be contacted and never hearing back I called several times and got the run around. Finally, after several weeks they said that the owner had just ordered the gas cap cover. When it came in, they said they needed to paint it and they would call me. Sometime later they made an appointment for me to come in and have the cover replaced. The person working that day had no idea I was coming in, had to look for the cover, and try to replace it. The paint job was rough and unprofessional, and the cover was too big to fit my car! After complaining again, the owner said I could have it fixed myself and he would reimburse me. I had to order the part from Korea, which was easy, but evidently not for the Like New Detailing Staff! When it came in, I had it professionally painted and installed. I sent my receipts in for reimbursement, and after several weeks of not receiving the check, I called. They said the check had been mailed. I waited awhile longer and still no check. I don't think they ever prepared and mailed it. I called again. They said I could come to the shop on a Saturday in June and pick up a check. When I arrived, the girl in the office had no idea I was coming to pick up a check and struggled to find my information, although they claim a check was previously issued and mailed. I was finally issued the check after waiting for her to figure it out. This was the second time they made an appointment with me, and when I showed up, they had no idea I was coming or why I was there. It took over six months to get this resolved because of their incompetence and lack of caring. I think they just hoped I would forget about it and go away! Please don't waste your money here!

I would strongly advise others to reconsider using this company based on my experience…read more I enrolled in a membership for four monthly cleanings of my black vehicle. While the initial setup was satisfactory, the service execution raised serious concerns. Due to limited availability, I scheduled a 1:00 PM appointment on a Sunday. My vehicle is parked in direct sunlight, and I specifically asked the technician whether a canopy or shade solution would be used. I was told the vehicle would be washed in sections. However, time-stamped CCTV footage clearly shows that approximately three-quarters of the vehicle was wetted at once, and the work proceeded at an unreasonably slow pace under direct sun exposure. As expected under these conditions, the vehicle began drying prematurely, resulting in visible water spotting. Upon inspection, I immediately raised the issue and requested supervisor involvement. I explained that the vehicle had just undergone a ceramic coating reapplication and was free of any spotting prior to service. Despite this, the supervisor insisted the damage was pre-existing and proceeded to disparage the coating provider rather than address the service failure. It is fundamentally improper to wash a black, ceramic-coated vehicle in direct sunlight without adequate coverage or environmental controls. The resulting outcome was entirely preventable. I have retained a plethora of time-stamped video evidence documenting the condition of the vehicle before, during, and after the service, which directly contradicts the company's claims. This documentation has been shared with company leadership. This experience reflects a significant lack of professionalism, proper technique, and accountability. I am prepared to pursue further action if necessary.

Even our gently used-but-new-to-me 2020 Kia Telluride. I love my car... it's the newest car I've ever owned and the nicest at that! Now, I don't know about you, but I had expectations when paying $$$ for a used vehicle. Like, I want it *SPARKLING* when I drive it off the lot. It wasn't, though- regardless of the fact that I bought it from the Kia dealership, it still had heavy water spots, candy wrappers and loose change floating around. I was a bit peeved to say the least. That's when I went searching for detail artists who could make my car shine like new. That's when I found Kalen! He responded to my request for a quote quickly and had given me the rundown of the services he offered at an honest price. He made himself available for a time that worked with my busy mommy-of-two schedule and is conveniently located in the heart of pearl city near momilani rec center. He takes pride in his work and made my car look brand-spanking new!! I already was proud of my new-to-me-used car but he made me love it even more. I'm so stoked to drive around in my shiny car now!! Thank you, Kalen, for giving my car the wow-factor it was lacking!! Oh shoot... now it's clean and shiny and the OCD me is gonna be like "Get that grain of sand out of my car!! I can see it!!" Hey!! Brand new When we…read moreget something new, we want to keep it in factory condition as long as possible. Furniture, appliances, computers, kids (can't keep them babies forever), and cars. We want them looking good all the time. My car's exterior was in good condition but over time; weather, hand washes using dishwashing soap, 808 drive thus, and free car washes from Acura (I know you read those reviews), it needed plenty of corrections. No matter how hard I tried my clear coat perfect, I had plenty of scratches and I knew major corrections were needed. So I looked toward Yelp for help. I decided to get the ceramic coating again. The warranty is good for three years but after two my last application was failing. Not sure if I'm ever going to Auto Detailing again. Yep you read that review right? After scrolling through Yelp and talking to Kalen, this was the place. Now this guy is serious about detailing. He makes it an art. I had to leave my car over at his house for two day. One day for interior and corrections. The second for coating application and drying. He kept me updated and informed me he needed more time with the car. I told you major correction. I don't know what magic he pulled off but DAMN!!! Let me say I didn't recognize my vehicle. I wish I took before and after pics because my car looks great. Like it came fresh off the factory assembly line. I couldn't find any scratches and brother I looked. I could see myself reflection smiling through the coating. I didn't waste any of my toothpaste for the headlights because they look brand new. And the interior was spotless. This dude even cleaned my Punisher cup holder coasters! Looking to resell your car, come here to upgrade the value. Overall five stars. There are some reviews I want to give negative stars and others more then five. This dude gets ten out of ten. He takes his time and his attention to detail is outstanding. Plus he gives military discounts. And I'm so impressed with his work I'm not waiting three year to come back. I'm setting up an appointment for my other car. Now excuse me, I'm going to sit in my car and enjoy that new car smell. No really the car smells like lemons. M

They were the number one company with 5 star reviews in the area, so I had to go with them. I gave them a call and, luckily, they had openings toward the end of the week. I signed up for their most popular package, which was a full interior and exterior detail complete with ceramic coat. The price was very reasonable! I didn't even realize that they were a mobile detail service until Elisiah explained it to me over the phone. Even better! Friday rolled around and the weather looked like it might pour. Thankfully, Elisiah came prepared with a tent in case there was a downpour. Elisiah and his buddy showed up promptly at 9am and worked their tails off all day, all while I sat in the comfort of my home. After a few hours, they called me out to check out their work. They did such an amazing job! They made it look brand new! I was extremely pleased with their meticulous attention to detail. In fact, their work caught the eye of my neighbor across the street and he decided to book a session with them too! What surprised me the most was how young they were. Both of them were just out of high school. I had no idea. They both were extremely professional and respectful. Pure gentlemen. I will definitely be recommending their company to all of my family and friends. I wish their company all the success in the world!

I ran across, "Keep It Wet Auto Detail" on Yelp and after reading the positive reviews and looking at the photos, I was sold. I contacted the owner and received a prompt response. All in all, again, I highly recommend, "Keep It Wet Auto Detail" for your car care needs. Mahalo nui loa!

I originally only came in for an interior detail and headlight restoration, and somehow they managed to get out stains and clean areas that multiple other detailers have never been able to touch. The attention to detail is insane. Everything looks and feels completely refreshed, and my headlights came out amazing. But what really blew me away was how far above and beyond they went. Without me even asking, they cleaned my engine bay, did my wheels, and carefully hosed down the exterior. I had just gotten new paint and couldn't have the car soaped yet, so they were extremely mindful of that while still doing everything they could to make the entire car look incredible. They even let us borrow a car for the day while they had mine, which they absolutely did not have to do. And all of those extras--the engine bay, wheels, exterior, and loaner--were done at no additional charge, simply out of the kindness of their own hearts. Beyond the quality of the work, they were some of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever dealt with. You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It's rare to find a business that combines this level of skill with this level of generosity and customer service. I've had my car detailed by other people before, and there is genuinely no comparison. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I will recommend them to absolutely everyone!!!
