Went to look at a car, Bailey wasn't there on this Saturday but the mean, crude parents (or older…read morepeople were). I asked where Bailey was--no response. Then I asked about the Toyota Celica convertible. Father (or older man) grunted, got the keys & removed the car from the parking spot. Then grunted at me, pointed at the car, then walked away. For $3500, even though the car was a Toyota & the body was in pretty decent shape, it was so overpriced. I took a friend with me to help. I LUV LUV LUV vehicles so I've learned some stuff along the way in ownership. I had my checklist. 1) The most important thing was the OBDII computer system. There were no check engine lights on, but I had my bulky reader/analysis system. There so MANY codes erased that I guess they didn't know if a person knew what they were doing, they could find all these codes. Every code from emissions to solenoids to misfires. I got the best mechanics in the world--I called them to tell them the codes, they said to fix everything would be upward from $2000. Then I told them the people wanted $3500 for it with 180,000 miles; mechanics said either get them down to $1500 or walk away. It had 180,000. 2) The transmission had been replaced & there was no mention of it on the website in the vehicle description. There was no paperwork either. I asked, older man grunted. I saw "11/97" on the transmission itself (we went under the car too). No knowledge of how many miles was on this tranmission or what the odometer mileage was when it was swapped out. 3) Convertible top went down easy, wouldn't come back up 100% on it's own. My friend had to pull the top up beyond a certain point on the rear right side just to keep it moving. I own covertibles so I know easily about $1000 to get a new motor/mechanisms. No mention of the motor getting ready to fail. 4) Oil wasn't the best. Oil filter looked like it was changed. WHA??? 5) The interior was dirty, seats were dirty, dashboard was dusty. The middle console was removed and replaced with some sort of homemade box. But the factory console was in the trunk. It should have been put back in before trying to sell to show original condition. 6) I was NOT allowed to take for test drive. Bailey was the KINDEST guy, said it was ok to drive around the block or so, which is one reason I wasted a cold cloudy, Saturday afternoon to go look at it. When I told the older man Bailey said I could, you can guess---he grunted at me. But he knew how to say "NO". I told him the car wasn't work $3500 in its current condition & I'd offer $1000 for it since the convertible top wasn't working right. "NO". Then he said something under his breath in a foreign language. I ignored it. I said ok, turned the car off, left the lot. I had a Carfax with me but it didn't mention about the transmission being changed. This made me wonder what else was going on with the car that I didn't know. Realized this car was for someone that considered this a "project". So I told him the keys were in the ignition & I left. He and his wife just stared at me & I stared right back at them. Bailey is the nicest thing that has EVER happened to this car lot. IF you want to buy a vehicle at this car lot, you: ---either be a mechanic or take one with you, they won't let you drive the car off the lot for anything; ---take a Carfax so you'll have some idea of what is happening; ---be prepared to spend more money than the vehicle is worth because you WILL have to put money into it before you can really start enjoying it, if it'd even make it back home. If you tow it, get it towed to your mechanic. If you can drive it, drive it right to your manchanic; ---If you don't go when Bailey is there, then DON'T GO AT ALL. There wasn't ANY kind of positive customer service mechanism in place. You leave there feeling like you were never welcomed in the first place. ---Be prepared to WALK AWAY. I believe if I had Bailey there, he would have cared & worked with me on price or something, but no one else did. Now the one thing I WILL say about Bailey--he was willing to let me put a deposit down on the car and pay him unti it was paid in full. If you just gotta buy a vehicle there----DEAL ONLY WITH BAILEY. I didn't get such luck.

Don't waste your money at this dealership. I bought a car here and it has been nothing but…read moreproblems. They sold it to me with the wrong tire size, and I had to replace all four tires within a week. The mechanic also discovered signs of a front-end accident -- even though the report showed no history of it. On top of that, they didn't even provide the original keys for the car, just a cheap replacement. Since then, I've had to spend thousands of dollars on repairs because new issues keep popping up. There's no warranty and they take zero responsibility for anything. It's your choice, but my advice is to stay far away from this place. You'll end up with headaches, unexpected costs, and a car that keeps letting you down.
