I needed to get a key fob, which I purchased years ago, programmed to work for my car. I did my due…read morediligence in researching methods to program the fob myself, and I found out that I couldn't program it because of the year of my car and that I would have to have it done professionally. I also read that it could cost upward of $140+ if I went to a dealership, and I wasn't comfortable spending that amount of money simply to get my fob to work, because, ya know, I got BILLS. LOL Thus, the suggestion was that I find a local locksmith to do the job. I initially called Fast Eddy's on Grand Avenue, mostly because of good reviews but also because it's located about a block down from where I live, but his technician wasn't available this week, so he recommended Rapid Recovery. I called Rapid Recovery, made an appointment for yesterday at noon, brought in my fob, and it was handled very quickly. The technician suggested I get a new shell for the fob because the casing was broken and would fall apart. The cost to program the fob was $60, and to replace the shell was an extra $10. Hmmm...$70 versus $140, plus replaced broken fob case.....looks like I won! I'm very happy and would recommend their shop to anyone who needs this service. Thank you, Rapid Recovery!

Having never worked with a remodeling contractor before, I could only go in the beginning with my…read moreimpressions of Mr. Gula. What I can say, is that from the beginning, he seemed not only very knowledgeable, but dedicated and very enthusiastic about his work. The contract that was developed and I signed was thorough, and offered main level remodeled trim, paint, doors and walls that I decided to add in addition to the main work of remodeling the kitchen, putting in hardwood floors, and redoing our stairs so they were hardwood as well. The project once it began took two months. It would have been shorter but for the fact it was over the Christmas and New Year holiday. What I want to say more than anything else is how very pleased I am with my new house. It is beautiful. The kitchen has new granite countertops, cabinets, and backsplash that are still a delight to behold. But the trim work and new doors throughout the main level are truly stunning. It was given all enamel painting and is beautiful. Mr. Gula also agreed to add a replacement of our front door for a very reasonable price. And finally, Mr. Gula returned several times to touch up items that were left undone, or needed touching up. I am so grateful and pleased with his work, and highly recommend him.
