Noble Credit Union - Noble Credit Union Branch

    Noble Credit Union

So I've been a member with Noble, formerly known as Fresno County Federal Credit Union since I was…read moreprobably 8years old. I got a $100 for my birthday and used it to open a savings account (you only need $5 to open a savings acct). Used to go to the branch downtown but since they moved locations downtown and parking can be horrendous. I started to come to this location. I've had car loans (with 2.99% APR) and credit card loans with them and I have no complaints. You can use your debit card with no fee at any co-op atm. I've always used their online/mobile banking which has always been user friendly. They had a recent "Card Control" upgrade which I honestly don't like, but I'm sure it'll take time getting used to. The inside is clean with high ceilings. There's usually a security guard outside the door and he's really nice. He'll greet you and open the door for you. Everytime I come here I've always had a great experience with exception to one time. I can't remember the dollar amount of the bill I had. But my toddler had accidentally ripped it in half. Sure, I could've taped it. But I figured I was already at the bank and I asked the bank teller if she could replace it. She wasn't friendly and in an annoying tone said I could have taped it. I honestly did not see what the big deal I was already there and it was a bank. Maybe it's because she had to get up and find the bill to replace it since her register needed to be replenished. But that's no excuse. And when I had asked her to transfer money to another account she put in the wrong amount after I repeated the amount to her twice. I ended up just using the ATM as I was leaving because I did not want to deal with her. My recent experience was with Maria and Ozzie. Maria is the best! She looked over my accounts and suggested another type of savings that yields higher APR percentage. I wish someone had told me about it sooner. Maria is knowledgeable, personable, patient and very kind. She also assisted with documents to open an account for both my kids. Same day without an appointment I saw Ozzie who proceeded to assist me with the rest of the documents for my kids account and debit cards etc... she was also very kind and knowledgeable answered all my questions. I've also gone here for notary services (by appointment). They have one ATM by the entrance. And they have a drive-through. They used to have a drive-thru ATM, which was actually really nice and inconvenient, but that has been taken down . Overall I truly enjoy my visits here.

In addition the repo people they used this woman was extemely rude, had me waiting over 3 hours in the COLD as she felt threaten and would not advise where my car was as I was told to meet her at the Bart as she was going to pick me up. Then called me at 10pm asking me if I could pick my car up. WTF. Only I can say is the woman did bring the car to my residence at 2am in the morning. I got this vehicle in 2017 and should been paid off by now, but they don't even do any refinacing and you have to pay all that interest, not cool. I would have let them have it but I have paid over $20k. They are rude, no assistance, no extension as it is hard now a days, but they are more concerned about they money then the struggles of the average American trying to live in these hard times. I know my next car purpose they name better not be mention, just horrible.

I asked Jackie if they got my check, she had a very disinterested and annoyed tone in her voice. I am sick and tired of this company treating a customer with such disregard. I hope they go bankrupt. UPDATE: I called and they verified they had my check the day before a late fee would be charged, they purposely waited to process my check in order to charge a late fee. I'm reporting them for this unethical practice. They sent out my late fee notice, I was right.

I had a mixed experience with Westland Auto in Fresno…read more Back in 2023, they did help me get into a car when my credit wasn't great, which I appreciated. I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion with about 130k miles for around $14k through their in-house financing. I put $1,000 down and my payments were about $700/month. The interest was definitely high, but that's expected given my credit at the time. The buying process itself was smooth, and their team communicated well whenever I had questions or issues. The downside was the limited inventory--my options were basically that car or a smaller sedan. Fast forward to September 2025, I got into an accident and the car was totaled. I still owed about $6k maybe and since I had GAP insurance through them, I expected the process to be straightforward--but it wasn't. Getting the GAP coverage to kick in was a hassle. There was a lot of back and forth between their office and my insurance, and it took about 1-2 months after my insurance paid their portion for everything to finally get resolved. Looking back, the car was priced higher than what it was actually worth. While they do help people with low credit and offer in-house financing, you end up paying a premium for it. Overall, I appreciate that they gave me an opportunity when I needed it, but if you have other options, I'd recommend exploring them first. I was later able to get a 2018 Honda Accord with only 60k miles for about the same price I had been paying for the older Ford, which really put things into perspective.

Having read the reply, here is mine…read more They had claimed it cost $1500 to ship a vehicle from Fresno to the Oregon Coast. $1500 is what it costs to ship a vehicle from the East Coast to the West Coast. A bit of research on my end showed the cost to ship from Fresno to the Oregon Coast is $500. This business does not know their own business and the leadership is not smart enough to find out the particulars. The objective in sales is TO MAKE THE SALE. This does involve negotiations. It also requires flexibility. These attributes are MIA at this dealership. They did show plenty of 'tude though! Had they taken a more positive approach, a sale was possible and since I had my best friend making a trip from the Oregon Coast to SoCal, he could have stopped by, traded in my car, picked up the one I wanted and there would have been a sale made. 2 months after I tried and was unable to deal with such a difficult dealership, the car I wanted finally did sell. That represents 2 months of dead money. Make sales quickly, get the money back plus some profit, buy another vehicle and keep the ball rolling! That is how to do it. Those 2 months are now gone FOREVER. What remains is my bad feelings over the experience with this dealership. Remember folks, they told me that it would be better for them to watch a vehicle collect dust on the lot than to make deals. Do you really want to do business with this kind of business? Adding some to the dealership's second reply: The $500 shipping rate from Fresno to the Oregon Coast was found by using a search engine to look up vehicle shipping companies. If you are paying $500 to ship a vehicle from LA to Fresno, you are overpaying. Go down to a temporary employment agency. Hire some drivers to take to the auction. $100 or so for the driver, $40 or less for the gas and a stop at In-N-Out for a meal comes out a lot less than $500. The best time to sell is when you have a willing buyer. You failed to cash in and get the sale. The objective is to get to YES. You think you can dictate to the market what the price is? eBay is full of unsold listings where sellers try this kind of move. Those who let the market forces decide the value work though. It's called capitalism. This system seems to work rather well! Anyways, all it will take is someone reading this review and our exchanges to realize that your dealership is difficult to work with.
